I absolutely do not recommend coming here or sending your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or anyone else who the mechanics think might be ignorant in automechanics. I went to renew my inspection in November, and they told me "they would have to fail it since my brake master cylinder was leaking, and it poses a safety hazard because my brakes might go out." The guy sounded very convincing and tried to appeal to me by saying how dangerous it could be and what to do if my brakes go out while Im driving. Well, my dad has been working on cars his entire life but lives out of state, and I work at a school with a mechanic. I generally distrust anything a mechanic says, so I discussed the issue with the only two mechanics I do trust and they both determined nothing was wrong with my vehicle. I initially chose Christian Brothers since its close to home and I thought it would be an honest shop. Wrong. Ive only gone there for oil changes and inspections. The first couple times you go, theyll say your car looks great - no problems. Then its a very minor repair: a loose bolt. Then it turns into bigger issues. Every time I just thanked them and went on my way, and they never brought up the issue a second time, even though I never "fixed" it. So it wasnt until they had leverage over me- the state inspection- that they dropped the "serious, dangerous, safety hazard" repair, thinking Id fold and pay them for some nonexistent repair. So again, I highly DO NOT recommend anyone going here. They are a dishonest, money-hungry shop. Always get a second opinion - do not take them at face value.

MY a/c was not working so they were supposed to only fixed my hose for high pressure. they charged me $400 dollars for that, plus they messed up my wipers blades by putting the backwards. i do not even know why they were playing with the wipers for. also my honk was working when i dropped my car off when i went to pick it up it was not working either so they were trying to charge me for fixing it when they messed up. and im pretty sure they also messed up my condenser because it was working before they put their hands on it and they were charging me another $450 to fix it. i took it somewhere else and they charge me $150 for the labor and the new condenser.christian brothers worse experience ever and worse mechanics also. sorry to say it but your service is not good at all if you do not know how to put my wiper blades the right way that means you should not be fixing cars. so do not even think taking your car here. go somewhere else they are a ripped off and do not know how to work. review from a true customer i do not even think the rest of the reviews are real because what they said is not even near to what i experience. is the worst.

I just recently move to the area from Austin, TX. I been experiencing some problems from my front wheel weld area. I jacked up my car and saw the problem. I decided to take it to the Brothers because I have heard really good reviews. Well the reviews were right. Not only did it take 10 minutes to fix my car the gentlemen could of easily told me that more damage had occur since I was driving my car for a month like this and I would of believed it. The honest man that he is and representing the brothers he told me that everything was fine. He said for damage to really happen I would have hit a bump extremely hard. So again 10 minutes later I was on my way. Surprisingly they did see me pretty fast but probably had to do with the 2 yr old spider man that was with me (my son). Safety was there first priority. Thank you..

Stopped in quick bc my tire light was on and I was literally on my way to Dallas with kids in car but dont know how to fill tires up with air (my husband does everything) so just stopped here and asked for help. They checked all of my tires immediately and put some air in and it turned out it was just the weather (temp had dropped like 50 degrees the day before) so-the air had gone down a bit. They refused to take any money for their time and were so incredibly friendly and helpful. They were right-it was just the weather-have had no problems/indicators since. I was so grateful for their help and kindness-we will def go there if we ever have a problem with our van!!!

Being pretty new in town, its hard to pick businesses that you know are going to be good to work with. I drive by Christian Brothers everyday and decided to stop in and see about setting up an appointment. I had a friend with me and we both got a good feeling in there. They were very friendly and accommodating and the business is very clean. I was able to take my car in the next day. There was very good communication with me and what was going on with fixing my car and the car was done when promised. I will definitely return for future needs and can feel good about recommending Christian Brothers.

I had a wonderful experience when i went to get my oil changed. the waiting room is clean and dosnt even feel like Im at a mechanic shop. The owner and employees were very knowledgable about my vehicle. And were not pushy when they told me about the oil leak my car has, and the scheduled maintenance my car needs. they were very honest, and friendly, and I will defiantly go back to get more work done as soon as I can fit it in my schedule. all around great atmosphere, especially for a mechanic shop.

Finally a shop that I can trust! Thats very difficult to find. I went to one of the mainstream chains to have my AC fixed and they wanted almost $1,000 to replace this and that. I knew that it was BS so I took it to Christian Brothers on my day off (theyre closed on weekends) and it cost just under $200! This is a real shop of real mechanics that actually do something that most of the other shops no longer do - THEY FIX CARS!! If youre looking for a trustworthy high-quality shop, then look no further.

This place is awesome! They are extremely professional and friendly, they are very honest and upfront about everything including: cost, length of time for service, and how they will be performing the repairs. They also called me frequently to update me on everything going on. I also LOVED that when I walked in they were playing KSBJ on the radio and they offered me snacks, a beverage and reading material during my visits when I had a shorter wait. They are wonderful! I highly recommend!

I take my truck to the one in atascocita for all my automotive repairs. I trust the guys to keep my vehicle running reliably because I can"t afford to be on the side of the road. Ken and Johnny have always been straight up with me and let me make the decisions on when to get the problems taken care of. You can set an appointment and they are waiting for you when you arrive so there is very little wasted time. I trust them with my wife and kids vehicles too. Great job guys, keep it up!
