So I rented from this place for almost 3 consecutive years. The people that owned it before were absolutely amazing, they were the nicest people, I had no complaints. I had zero problems the entire time I rented there, no buts in my unit other than the occasional cricket, but those are to be expected. The issues started happening when it was time for me to move out. I gave them my 30 days notice a little early because that is what the policy used to be, they told me that they only required 10 days notice. Okay thats fine, no problems there. So I called a week or so later to confirm that I gave them sufficient notice, it was not in their computer system so I gave them notice again. so another week goes by, now we are right at the 10 days notice mark, and I called again just to confirm. Lo and behold, it again was not in their system. So I asked them to please make note that I would be vacating my unit at the end of June. So this past weekend on Sunday, 6/26/16, I went and got the last little bit of items I had left in my storage unit, which was a red chaise lounge, 2 orange chairs, and a 6 ft tall Christmas decoration. I picked all of it up wearing a black t-shirt, and used my dads red Chevy pick up. I swept the unit out, took pictures and videos, and made sure that it was clean and ready for the next renter, closed up and we went on our way. Everything that came out of my unit, went home with me. I did not throw anything away. So since I moved out of my unit yesterday, I tried calling to let them know Hey my unit is empty now. no answer, I think it was right before the office was supposed to open, not a problem, so I go online and email them to let them know that I vacated my unit. I just received a phone call at 9:50 this morning from the woman that runs the front office letting me know that she got my email. "Okay great! Just wanted to let yall know that its empty". I thought that would be the end of it and we would go on our merry way. No, she proceeds to tell me that they saw that I dumped some couches in their dumpster, to which I responded that I did no such thing, everything that was in my storage unit went home with me. She said yes I did, and that they had me on camera doing it. I again said that I did not dump anything at their dumpsters, but that I would be happy to come look at their camera footage to confirm. so she passed me off to the manager, who said his name was George Lopez, he said that he was the store manager. He proceeded to tell me the same thing, You dumped some couches in our dumpster, yeah we have you on camera in a pink shirt, dude was in a white shirt, you were in a blue ford truck with a trailer. I again said, that I did not dump anything from my unit and described everything that I took everything with me in my red truck, that did not require a trailer. and he argued with me, kept saying that they had me on camera, every time that I asked to come up and see the footage, he would describe it to me. I told him that I would still like to come up and confirm for myself that it was not me. At this point Im mad, Ive told both of them several times that I did not dump anything, I do not know anyone that owns a blue ford truck, and I definitely dont own a pink shirt, and they continued to tell me that I was lying, and they kept adding stuff to the list of things I supposedly dumped. So after we go around a few times I finally ask him where hes going with this? what does he want? (assuming that theyre trying to find a way to stick me with charges) He was like "Well I guess ill take care of it, you know the little guy will just have to go out and take care of it for you...... EXCUSE ME? so finally I said, Look, Im sorry that that happened, it wasnt from my unit so its not my problem. But again, sorry it happened. To which he said "Yeah whatever". So I asked if I was good and he said "I guess so, I mean the little guy will clean up your mess for you." So finally I just said "great". and hung up.

Called to get pricing and unit sizes because theyre link for that on the site prompts you to actually talk to them to find out, and the rep I spoke with was incredibly pushy and wouldnt just give me the info I needed. Store somewhere else! None of the others I called in the area had any sort of poor customer service, all friendly and helpful.

Three nights ago, a whole row of RVs were broken into and contents stolen from each. Calls to the renters were not made until after 4:00 pm the next afternoon. On site management failed to notice the mayhem on security monitors. We pulled out of there the next day for a safer storage area.

A very clean facility. Staff was incredibly nice, wonderful customer service. They were helpful with all my questions on pricing & availability. If someone is looking for storage in this area go to Compass Self Storage.

We were very happy with the previous owners, unfortunately when Compass took over, the personal touch disappeared. After the 145% increase in storage fees, we elected to take our business elsewhere.

We kept our boat here for a year. VERY nice guy who runs it BUT.... you better be good at backing up a boat in a TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT space. I couldnt hardly do it. Nice place with a tight place.

They raised the rent without letting me know. It is also completely overpriced, just check out other storage places before coming here
