I would have given -1 if there is an option. Im not a person usually write reviews. But they made me to...Horrible service on facial. It was my first facial with this salon. Really unprofessional service on facial, I didnt buy any group on, paid out of my pocket full amount, but the facial not worth a penny. The lady who did the facial almost teared my skin by saying removing my black heads( which I did not have but the mole) and damaged my skin and nose. Uncontrollably I was shedding tears. also I told her I couldnt breath so asked her to reduce the steam but she did not care much. I was literally suffocating.i dont think the person who did the facial to me was really a trained professional, I never ever had such a worst experience in my life on facial. There is no effect on my face after facial, the worst part is my face was swollen especially my nose.i couldnt find the owner to complaint on this that day just 2 staffs and I just wanted to get out of that place since I had more pain.I will not go here for facial even if I get it for free.

Im from Houston, and came into this area to visit relatives on a Friday afternoon around 4pm in mid-January 2017. I was delighted to find a place that could do BOTH hair styling and eyebrows, and that could take me without an appointment. My hair stylist, "M", did a great job! (She told me she didnt want her name in this review, even though she rocks!!) She was a bit nervous when I told her I want an undershave, but she got the clippers out and did a perfect job of creating a shoulder length bob with an undershave. "M" was also a good conversationalist and I felt relaxed the whole time with her. I missed the name of the eyebrow artist but that woman did a good job. She maintained the shape and did not make them too thin. Also, it did not hurt much. The eyebrow artist was not a talker, though. The price I paid for the service I received was good, and this salon was set up nicely with a privacy wall between the waiting area and the styling areas. Parking was easy. If Im in the area, Ill likely come back for hair and brow management.

The first time I went to this salon I told them I wanted my eyebrows tinted. Not threaded. They ushered me to a seat in the middle of my sentence and started threading my eyebrows. I figured they must have needed it if they thought they should be threading them as well, so I let it slide. After she finished I sat and waited for her to tint my brows. She was completely unaware that that was the service I had come in to receive, even though it was the only thing I had asked for. Second time I visited the salon, i asked for eyebrow tinting again. I asked for black eyebrows to match my dyed black hair. The stylist recommended dark brown eyebrows and I politely asked again for black eyebrows. The stylist then purposefully tinted them dark brown. Purposefully did what I asked her not to do. I then asked nicely again for black eyebrows although I was very upset. No one apologized to me either visit and I was charged the full price both visits. They do a good job on the services they perform but have horrendous customer service.

Its my worst ever experience at any salon. I was here for threading, facial, hair staightening and waxing. This was my second visit as I was satisfied with my previous threading experience but had never thought this time will turn into never returning one. The owner did waxing which was horrible and here are the reasons- 1. Disrespectful - She was not paying attention to my requests to slow down as it was super painful. Also, she kept asking to leave room as others are in the queue, however anyone would need few minutes to gather before leaving. 2. Developed Rashes - first ever time I developed rashes all over my hands and it looks ugly. Surprise surprise she used her nails to pull out wax and hairs. 3. No after cleaning - She didnt bothered to clean the wax and neither provided the moisturizer. Had to ask several times for tissue and moisturizers. 4. Hairs left - All I would have absorbed but found many hairs left after. Worst service... I would suggest you to never to visit this place ever..non professional...

After a year of searching for a great stylist in the Frisco area, I finally found marjan at Desire salon.Believe the 5 star reviews, I first went to marjan for a color correction and after 3 visits my hair looks better than ever. I went from very dark brown to a much more natural brunette with caramel highlights. Im hard to please when it comes to my hair and I absolutely love the color and cut she does every single time! She takes the time to consult with me and explains everything beforehand. She also gives a lot of great tips on how to style and care for my hair which I so appreciate. A beautiful top notch salon with friendly people and Im always thrilled with the results, I only wish I would have found it sooner! And she recommend to do eyebrows threading and I tired Oh MY GOD it was owesome just I can say.try try try........and I want to try them facials next week.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. The most unprofessional salon I have ever gotten my hair done. I had a groupon when I went to my appointment time they had apparently forgotten my appointment. When the owner Gene, who I was suppose to have my appointment with, bothered to come to the front he asked me about 5 times if I had payed and was completely rude. He passed me off to another stylist. I had bought a groupon for full highlights and cut. They informed me they would only do partial and then after beginning my hair said I would have to pay extra for having long hair. By that time it was too late to walk out. They took several hours to finish. My hair turned out okay, nothing spectacular, but I would recommend against this place based on their complete lack of professionalism.

I normally dont write reviews, but I just had to after my experience! A friend told me about the eyebrow threading that Desire offers, so I went in just for that. I had never tried threading before and wasnt sure what to expect, but Im so happy I tried it! So much better than any eyebrow wax I have ever had. After the threading, the woman working on me mentioned eyebrow tinting (my eyebrows are naturally very light blonde). I decided to go for it! Admittedly, I was very nervous throughout the process as it was my first time trying any of this. However, I am so extremely happy with how my eyebrows turned out!! I have gotten so many compliments already! Will definitely be returning for all of my eyebrow needs!

I went to Desire Salon for the firs time yesterday. There were two women in front of me getting their eyebrows done but I did not have to wait long. I got my eyebrows threaded and my lip waxed and threaded and it probably took ten minutes total. The price for both, $7, is great and the cosmetologist did a great job! I did not rate this a five for two reasons: 1) I was not greeted when I walked in and 2) It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and I did not know what to expect or what to do (hold my eyelid) during the process and that was not explained to me beforehand. Other than those two things, which are relatively minor, I am quite pleased with the results and I will be a regular customer.
