Let me tell you, I would have picked NO star if it had been an option, but I had to settle for the next worst rating of ONE STAR. Nothing about this place is stellar. We paid off our 1999 Mercedes in July of 2011 only for it to begin shaking by late August. We took it to the local OVER SEAS AUTO HAUS in Frisco, Texas off Preston Road and handed our keys over to TONY the shop manager. After a long two day wait, TONY, the shop manager, called to tell us the bad news. Our car needed a new brain (ECU). He said that the ECU controls the censors in the car and makes it run properly. He said that he could order a refurbished ECU and that it would take one day to get it and about an hour to install. He quoted us the $800 for the part and $90 to install it. Total $890.00. This was THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2011. We did not hear from TONY the shop manager until the end of the day on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2011. TONY said they had just received the ECU and would have our car ready by FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2011. During this call, Tony said that the total was now going to be 1160.00 because of the diagnosis fee and tax. Difference of $270.00 from the original quote AND a difference of over 5 days more with our car. We are a young family with a new born made to drive one car for over a week and made to come up with over a 1000.00 for a PART THAT NEVER NEEDED FIXING. Turns out, TONY the shop manager, called us Friday, said the part "didnt work" and we could come get our car because it couldnt be fixed. He said he would charge us. How nice of you, TONY the shop manager. Perhaps you didnt charge us because you LIED about the part that wasnt broken to begin with? Hmmm. Long story short, we picked up our paid off 99 Mercedes, took it to a different establishment that ONLY WORKS ON MERCEDES and were told that our car is in great shape EXCEPT we needed to get a major TUNE UP! He said he could have us going, good as new within FOUR HOURS. POINT? DO NOT GO TO OVER SEAS AUTO HAUS in FRISCO, TEXAS. They take advantage of people, have horrible customer service, lie, and over charge. I give OVER SEAS AUTO HAUS a big TWO THUMBS down and ZERO STARS thanks to TONY the DIS-service manager.

Unbelievable experience! After dealing w classic BMW for years and all of their shady practices and crooks I took a chance on these guys. To say the least I am beyond thrilled. Mo ( Mohammed) was super courteous and knowledgeable and went way above and beyond to diagnose my car. I already knew of some of the issues it was having because I was quoted several thousands of dollars from classic BMW for minor repairs. This time however there was an issue that needed to be immediately addressed which is why I chose to bring it here. They took time to diagnose my car and ironically there was really nothing wrong that was not a result of lazy techs from the BMW dealership conveniently forgetting to clear electrical codes from the multiple times I took it in. Mo cleared the codes for free in 5 min and went through my car in detail with me to show me everything that it would need now and in the future. I was already aware of the issues. Again classic was going to charge me upwards of $4000 for these repairs - not including the spark plugs/tune up it needed now. These guys charged me less than $600 for the same $3100 classic wanted to charge me. In addition the future repairs are going to be 1/3 of what the dealership quoted I was about ready to quit , turn in my BMW and try something new. After finding these honest and knowledgeable guys, not only will I continue driving a BMW but I will and already have recommended these guys to everyone out there To top it off- when I picked up my car - mo washed it and vacuumed it out for me just to add that extra step of service. Again I only spent $600. Needless to say these are my new go to guys and I highly recommend they be yours too! -Amy

Update 08/12/17 : Mo called and corrected the situation. Turns out he was trying to save ME time by giving the car to the body shop where it was to go anyway, so they could get started on the job right away. So car is now with OCC, and work will start next week. Will post update as available. Increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars for trying to resolve matter with customer amicably! Original 08/12/17: I would give zero stars for the unprofessionalism!! Had to get body work done so picked this location cause its closest to where I live and the high star ratings made me want to try them. Sent pictures to them, and even met Mo at this location on a Friday to schedule a drop off for Saturday evening. He should have told me then and there that he couldnt take it. I was going to go away on a trip so dropping the car at the location would have been ideal, hence scheduled things ahead of time. Come Saturday afternoon, I call to ask him if I can get a ride back home after dropping the car, and he said he wants me to drop off car at another location 12 miles away!! It is his own body shop but he wont get it down there?! With two little kids, dropping the car and figuring how to get back just wasnt going to work. He wasted 24 hrs of my time in which I would have found another body shop. Very very unprofessional!! Never going back here.

Finding a great team of mechanics that do not charge you astronomical prices is very difficult to find. I happened upon overseas car care and read all the reviews, They have received stellar reviews that I decided to bring my car in. I am very happy that I did, I have had nothing but great experiences here at this establishment. I had the pleasure of meeting Mo who was extremely helpful and very easy to talk to. He is very attentive to the needs of his customers and truly has your best interest in mind. Another great thing about this business is that they not only provide the utmost care and service to your vehicle but they truly put themselves in the shoes of the everyday working man and woman and go out of their way to provide the best prices and practice a policy of honesty and will not try to upsell or over sell anything to you. So if you are looking for great mechanics that will offer you the best prices and service. Then you should bring your car on over to overseas car care. Oscar

Overseas Car Care is one of the greatest auto repair shops to be at in the North Dallas Area. When you walk in ask for Moe, hes the man with a big smile. I took my Porsche 911 Carrera to Porsche dealership for a recall, and they gave me a list of almost $4,000 worth of repairs, and maintenance at 45k miles. After going to Overseas Car Care I paid about 60% less than the dealership quote, and most of the things the dealer listed as a "problem / issue" did not even exist, and Moe proved it to me by inspecting the car together. After sitting about an hour-ish awaiting in the very clean, and relaxing lobby for repairs to be done I have noticed that Moe is a very honest, well educated, and very professional with all the people who walk through the door. I sure trust these guys so much especially that I am picky about who touches my car. These guys will change the idea of independent shops being unprofessional. I recommend everyone to try them out. Thank you Moe!!
