My move was a very short move (within the same apartment complex) from a 2nd floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment. It was no easy task, and the movers were polite, however I had several items damaged in the process. My bed frame had no previous damage, was broken upon disassembly, and poorly re-assembled. After the movers had left, I noticed about 10 screws lying on the floor under my bed that should have been in my bed. My bed frame will not survive another move because of this. I had requested a mattress protector to be used when I set up my appointment, however one was never used. I am still finding splinters of wood and mulch embedded in my mattress. One of my dressers has a large dent and another dresser has a large chip in the top stone surface, neither of which were there before. One of the wooden feet on my couch was badly chipped as well. If protective blankets were even used for my furniture (because I suspect they were not) they were not used properly or the furniture was not treated with care. When searching for a reliable moving company, I chose this place since it had fairly good reviews (4.5/5 stars on Google and similar on Thumbtack). I am not one to leave bad reviews, but it is very disappointing to see my nice furniture damaged so badly. I believe it is reasonable to expect a higher quality of skill from a paid moving service. Either the movers did not have the necessary skills to perform their job, or the moving company did not provide them with the correct equipment to effectively perform their job. I would not recommend this company if you need large, bulky, heavy furniture relocated. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the movers were polite and I could tell they were trying very hard.

If there was a rating of less than 1 star, Home Movers, that award would go to you. You are the most disrespectful, most unprofessional, and the most distrustful company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business. I honestly cannot understand how you are still in business or retain customers with the way your customer service is. By the way, texting a potential customer with whom you had a verbal contract with the night before the job is NOT acceptable. Also saying in said text that your movers were late getting in and that they were going to be THREE hours late the next morning is ALSO unacceptable. And then to top it all off, to say that you were not going to even come back and finish the job and the fact that you were not even going to let me know this... is completely and utterly mind boggling. The fact that youve rendered me speechless is shocking considering Ive come across some shady characters, but you, @MarkMolina, you sir, definitely take the cake. I hope this is a wake up call for you and your shady company and that you start treating your customers with the respect that they deserve. And also... Please keep your moving guys informed, you know- the ones ACTUALLY DOING ALL THE HEAVY LIFTING. When they show up to a move and they do not know that helping the person pack is part of the deal, that looks incredibly bad on you. Again. And honestly, I cant thank you enough. You have my complete gratitude. Because of the ass backwards way you run your company, you had me hire someone with far more integrity, far more hard working, and someone that was far more deserving of my hard earned money. So for that, you have my eternal gratitude.

PISS POOR MOVING COMPANY is the best way to describe this moving company. First of all, the staff showed up 8 minutes late (outside their 2hr window). I had to help MOVE the furniture after I saw that it took them an entire hour to move one L shaped couch. To top the icing on the cake, the company doesnt allow their drivers to take the fastest route (i.e. toll route), so the drivers go all the way around the world to get to their destination. A 25 minute drive becomes an HR 20 minute drive. Then they try to nickel and dime you over 60 dollars. The MGR is rude. doesnt care about customer service and the guys working for him encourage you to call the BBB because they know that the company is a sham. They only take CASH payments so im sure theyre not paying their fair share to Uncle Sam also. I could go on and on but I would rather make 80 trips in my hoopty than use these clowns and Id STILL be faster than they were moving me. TO TOP IT OFF I CALLED THE CLOWNS AT THE MAIN OFFICE ABOUT MY BILL AND THEY TRIED TO TELL ME THEY WERE GOING TO "LOCK UP THE TRUCK" IF I DIDNT PAY THEM WHICH I WAS ALREADY GOING TO PAY THEM. Then they had the audacity to have an attitude and scratch up my walls and furniture. I could call and complain but with the experience i already had with these so called movers, id rather just fix my stuff myself. Judging from the BBB and all the other reviews of this NON TAX PAYING company, Im sure others felt the same way. Sure wish I had read the review before committing to this bunch of worthless individuals. P.S. I have to give a star. thats the only reason Im doing so. CLOWNS OF THE 21ST CENTURY.

Absolute WORST moving service ever. DO NOT USE Prepaid for their moving service and booked my scheduled time almost a month before my move date. Was supposed to have the movers comes between 11am-2pm on a Saturday and was told they would call me thirty minutes before their arrival. At 1:45 pm I still had not heard from them, so I called and was told their was a payment issue with my scheduled truck at their first moving location and the employee could not give me an ETA of when they would arrive could be hours. Then we were told that the employee talked to the owner and they would get someone out their ASAP and my scheduled truck would come as soon as they resolved their payment issue. didnt hear ANYTHING from them until 9pm when the movers called asking me if I still needed them to come move my stuff. um YES? I had already paid and needed to move. They did not arrive until almost 11pm. Turns out they had ALSO double booked the 11-2 time slot so after this so called payment issue they went to another location and did a huge move instead of coming to my apartment next like I was told. The movers themselves were NOT good either. Terrible service with no respect to my stuff. They were not very helpful. didnt wrap anything and broke a few things. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with movers and I have used a few companies. I am shocked that a business can run the way it does. I would never suggest them to anyone. I have a friend who used them this past weekend who had a terrible experience as well.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Worst experience with a moving company ever! The driver did nothing but sit in his truck for 30+ min, the other mover worked his tail off. The driver was disrespectful to my mother, left her in tears, and refused to transfer all contents of the storage unit, including a box of dvds and cleaning supplies, etc. My unit was a 10x14 with plenty of room to spare. Large items included a bed, washer, dryer, sofa and loveseat, plus 20-25 boxes. It took them less than an hour to load. When they got to the apartment it took them 45min to unload the sofas and washer and dryer, then left everything else out front in the dirt. They damaged my sofa and put large deep scratches in my coffee table, they damaged my bed and did not use any protective wrap or blankets during the move. He told my mother that it would take at least another hour and a half to complete the job. The driver refused to finish the move and the manager from the office was no help. The manager screened his calls and would not answer his phone until I called from a different number, I asked for the phone number for his manager and the owner of the company and he refused to give me the information and hung up on me, TERRIBLE!! Thankfully a couple of men that lived in the community came to the rescue, they moved the remaining items, including the bed, into the apartment, it took them about 20min. to complete the job. Neighborly kindness still does exist!
