We used Bargain Moving one time several years ago. They did good. But this last time in 2015 was very bad experience. They didnt show up and asked if they could come the next day. What else could I do. So I agreed. Well the next day they show up with no shrink wrap. When I scheduled them I specifically asked if they had shrink wrap to protect my furniture and they told me yes. So long story short. I have a BROKEN dresser mirror and a newer night stand that is has BIG SCRATCHES AND DENTS on top of it. The owner said he would fix it, but the company that he referred me to said they didnt get any work order from Bargain Moving to fix my furniture. So I figured out that he was just buying time hoping I would forget about it. So I kept calling and couldnt get past the secretary to speak to owner. I couldnt get a hold of him for 2 months. So I emailed them and said I was going to leave a negative google review and low rating on the BBB. That got an immediate response. He emailed back and said his insurance would cover up to a certain amount. He said he would just give me $100 to get it fixed. I was so frustrated because I knew it would cost a lot more to fix my furniture. But I figured that is probably the best I could get out of this horrible deal. So I accepted. Well, he never mailed the check. I emailed him again and told him he hasnt kept his word and now I am going to leave a negative review. He immediately got back with me and said he will check on it and take care of it...BUT he never did. I never got the check. I emailed again but this time I never heard back from him. So now I am leaving this negative review. Which I wish I didnt have to do. I understand that small business need our support, but not dishonest ones that dont keep their word. If you use this company you will get a decent price but you may not appreciate the service. I hope they get their act together.

BEWARE OF THIS MOVING SERVICE!! They damaged several items (lamp, chair, hot tub) and the owner, Haskell, told me to stop contacting him. He has not made any attempt to offer any compensation for the damages caused by his staff. They were an hour late from the scheduled move time and assured us they could move our hot tub - the main mover in charge specifically said "it would be easy and they do this all the time". The movers did not have the professional equipment or expertise to move this size/weight of a spa. However, they still attempted to move it and ended up damaging the side panel and bottom piece of the hot tub. We finally had to ask the movers to stop and leave the hot tub where it was in the middle of the yard. When I called to speak with the owner about this, he demanded payment before he would even look at the photos of the damages. He was very rude and threatened to call the police and then hung up on me. Since we had already drained our hot tub, it sat in the snow for almost a week until a actual hot tub mover with the proper equipment could move our spa. In comparison, the legitimate hot tub movers were able to successfully move the hot tub in an hour with only two guys, but it cost me an additional $250... I expected a moving company who claims to be professional and insured to know what they are doing or at least decline services if they are not confident in their ability to move such a large and expensive item. I am very shocked by the poor customer service provided by the owner of Bargain Moving and the lack of consideration for the damage to our possessions. In addition, Haskell told me one price over the phone before charging my credit card and then ended up charging me more than what he quoted. I do not like the way this guy does business!

Believe the bad reviews. We used this company last year when we moved from out of town just to have help unloading our U-Haul. They were great. So we decided to use them again and really really regret it. The movers were 3 hours late. At first they called and said they would be there at 10am instead of 9am, but they didnt show up until 12. They sent 3 guys but they work as efficiently as 1.5. My husband and I were running up and down the stairs while they stood around and chatted and talked on the phone and texted. When we told them we were on a budget crunch and needed to get moving the guy actually said to me "if I had known that I would have moved faster." I thought WTH this ass is trying to make it take longer. They were completely inefficient in loading the truck so they had to make another trip. They totally smashed our boxes and just threw furniture onto of things haphazardly. They also disappeared for an hour between 2 locations that were 10 mins apart claiming they couldnt find diesel gas. They scratched up my furniture, walls and doors. I get the bill and what was supposed to be a $400 move is an$800 move. I called and asked why and it turned out the price he quoted me was for 2 guys but he sent 3 without asking me for approval on the extra cost. He came down a bit on price after a lot of complaining, but not enough. DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE THESE INCOMPETENT MOVERS! They will cheat you, bait and switch your services, and destroy your stuff. I am waiting to hear if they are going to address our damages.

They disappeared before the move was over! I used Bargain Movers about a year and half ago and had a great experience, however the company has since been sold to a new owner and I was pretty disappointed with my recent move. First of all they charged me for a full three hours even through they were 30 minutes late. When they arrived and saw I had an upright piano, the mover immediately told me it would an additional $50 even though I had told them twice before that there would be a piano and there had been no mention of the extra charge. After they loading everything else, they told me they wouldnt be able to move the piano until later in the day and that Haskel would call to make arrangements. After not hearing from him, I called and he told me he was waiting to hear from me about the piano. He told me it would probably require extra labor and an additional $129 plus the $50 piano moving fee. He told me he would check with the movers for timing and call me back. That was the last I heard from them. He wont return my messages or answer my calls. So please be aware that if you use this service, you run the risk that they will disappear on you. Very poor experience.

I ignored the bad reviews and I regret it. They showed up with the tiniest truck Ive ever seen. The workers had no idea about the items I communicated to the owner I would need moved. It was immediately obvious they were only going have space for half. (And I dont have that much stuff). So I said (obviously) just take the biggest stuff. Fridge, mattress, sectional, air hockey table and rolltop desk. They couldnt figure out how to get the sectional out of the house. After wasting 30min of billable time in my frustration I said screw it- leave the sectional (one of the only Items I actually needed a truck for) take everything else. When I came back to the house by myself I figured out how to get the sectional out of the house by myself in 5 minutes. The guys doing the work were otherwise nice and very careful with my things. They didnt work especially fast but they did work consistently. I just cant believe the owner sent them with a truck that size. Also, was told they would arrive around noon. Arrived at 3pm. I had to call the company several times to get an ETA.
