Use caution if you hire Moving Proz! They stole almost $10,000 worth of jewelry from us during the move! We initially found Moving Proz on Angies List. They had good ratings and one of the cheapest deals. I called and spoke with their scheduler, whos was very professional, and found that they were available for our 2 part move so I booked them. The morning of the move I received a call that the movers were on the way, even though it was after the promised start time. I disregarded the tardiness because I had all day. Three gentlemen, Zack, Brandon, and Mike showed up at the house to load our PODS for a 2 part move. Zach, Brandon, and Mike worked in a timely manner and completed the move as requested. However, shortly after the move was completed we discovered that the movers had stolen close to $10,000 worth of jewelry from us, including invaluable family heirlooms that cannot be replaced. The jewelry was stored inside of a box which was secured in a room that we had instructed them was off limits. While we were distracted with directing the move, one of the gentlemen went to our private area and pilfered heirloom jewelry from us. The movers violated the trust, that we as consumers give them, to protect our belongings and to treat our home with integrity. When we contacted the moving company, the owner offered nothing more than an apology and a promise to keep in contact with us through the investigation, which he did not follow through with. So be ware, by hiring Moving Proz you may be allowing thieves into your home. If you still accept the risk of being a target for theft and you chose to use them, be especially careful if Zack, Brandon, or Mike show up!

DO NOT USE !!! I had to take this company to small claims court and I won. They never even bothered to show up...that should speak volumes. Since winning the judgement this company has completely ignored the judgement of the court so this is on going. They broke my 5 month old 70 inch big screen television. One guy carried it by himself and cracked the screen. When I called the company, this was the E-mail back. "Thank you fr submitting your damage claim. After review of your claim we regret to inform you that your damage claim has been denied." The company reviewed my claim and THEY decided it was denied. Thank gosh the Judge didnt see it that way. Case# 15SC00036 AYRES vs SHAW has been updated with a document with the following ROA entry: FILE STAMP 11/25/15, JOURNAL ENTRY OF JUDGMENT, PLTF APPEARS DEF DOES NOT APPEAR THE DEF FAILS TO APPEAR AND IS IN DEFAULT JUDGMENT FOR PLTF ON PLTFS CLAIM IN THE SUM OF $1370.18 PLUS 12% INTEREST PER ANUM COSTS ARE ASSESSED AGAINST THE DEF PARTIES ARE ADVISED OF RIGHTS TO APPEAL (14 DAYS) C/S. The 14 days to appeal were also ignored by Moving Proz and Mr. Shaw is the owner of the company. With a court case number you should be able to verify this for yourself. Is this the kind of service you would like ??? Also notice how the company has responded to positive comments but is not responding to mine. The court case number says it all.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. This company is horrible. They showed up an hour late. Then they took their time and not even work if we were not standing there watching them. They were suppose to bring from moving blankets with them, but they did not bring a single one. We had to go buy some and then keep telling them to wrap our furniture with the blankets. Our freezer now has scratches in it thanks to this company. The movers were young kids and it seemed like they were having a contest to see who could lift the most. One of them almost dropped a piece of our sectional off the ramp. Thankfully my brother-in-law caught it. We had them pack our pictures and our kitchen. We found several pictures just stuck in boxes with no paper. Several of the frames were broken. We found 4 martini glasses three feet down in a four foot box with no paper around them at all. The company also left and left random stuff that should have been packed all over our house. The movers also tracked grease on our carpet and then refused to do anything about it. Even though the owner stood there and told us they covered any damage to our house, to include the carpets. Also, the movers tried to charge us for their hour lunch. Do not use this company. They are very unethical.

The price was reasonable and none of our items were damaged, which was great! We did have a problem with the customer service from our movers. One of the guys who moved our apartment was really rude to us from the start. The other guy was nice, but he really dragged his feet getting things in and out of the truck. We could also overhear them bickering and arguing with each other because the rude one kept putting down the other guy the whole time. Then at the end when we were going to pay, he asked us what we were quoted and we told him, and he became very snarky and rude about how there was no way the move would have gotten done in that amount of time and that we would have to pay more. We understand that sometimes moves take longer than originally anticipated, but we were very put off by the way we were spoken to and treated by that mover. Then, a few days later, we noticed that the bed frame he put together was not actually put together, and my roommate had to go and fix what he did not put together all the way. This experience really deterred us from wanting to use this company again.

I Would give this place no stars if it were possible, the worst service ive ever experienced in my life. Had movers planned a month and confirmed a month in advance, the day before it was confirmed as well, once it got to the actual day an hour late, i ended up calling and got no answers from 3 different people, 1 of which was supposedly the owner, rushed me off the phone because he was being pulled over by police, and then i was given a number to someone else who rushed me off the phone, only to have the actual moving guy call me and tell me some lie that he couldnt find the right location, then the supervisor calls me back and says the mover seriously turned around and left because his wife was having a baby, and they had no one else. We ended up having to move all of our own stuff, and ended up having to lift over a 200 pound old piano, worst service on the planet! but thanks for saving me money!.

I am absolutely amazed at the total professionalism and excellent customer service that Andrew and his team exhibited while moving my household belongings… It was as if the items they moved belonged to them personally and the care and detail and downright expertise that Andrew executed in moving and storing my belongings was beyond reproach… Watching these guys under Andrews direction was an inspiration and made me feel like yes there are folks that really care and want to do an outstanding job for their customers… Its professionalism personified and actually has nothing to do with money. It’s what I call having very high personal and moral standards… BTW these guys hustled like you would not believe… Excellent price for my move and yes they will move me again… Thanks guys.. Jack
