Normally, I would give them at least a 4 stars but not this time. I have used two men and a truck for so many years and this is the first time that I can say that I wasnt happy with them. It started with them coming 45 minutes early and I was still trying to finish packing and marking but they said that it wont be a problem, they can start loading while I was finishing up. I have some going to Sisters house and most of stuff to the storage. I had marked the boxes home or house and storage. My place was small so it was hard to try to mark the last few stuff but they said it wont be a problem since I pointed out that theyre going to my Sisters house and some to storage. We went to my Sisters first and told them where they need to put my stuff. It was hot that day around 90s so I was in and out the house. They asked me a couple of questions and said thats all they needed. I even said are you sure, he said yes. When they got done, we went to the storage place. I was watching them from my car because it was just too hot for me but I was in and out the car. I was surprised when I saw some stuff that should have gone to the house so ended up putting them in my car. I told them that there are pallets on both end of the storage that they can used because I only had few in the storage but one of them said that I didnt need them. I admit I should have been persistent but I was just ready to get done because my time went over the estimated time. When I got to my Sisters house, I started to sort and noticed that something was missing. It was my clothes that I really needed. I had to call my Son to help me look at the storage place and it was there. It was marked house but it was put way in the back of the storage and some boxes were in front. My Son was so angry and also that they didnt put pallets for the boxes. I called the office and tried to tell them what happened but the manager got all smart and said "Werent you there?" Thats when I kind a lost it. She wasnt sympathetic at all and she never said sorry. I told her that I will forget everything if they can rearrange the boxes and put them all in front and put some pallets. She said that she will have to check with her boss and get back with me. I had to call back and she said they will do it but I will have to pay. I said I will not pay and I will not used them again and all she can say is okay, like okay not to have my business. I had to call few more times because she had hung up and not returning my call for the damage that I wanted to report. Also, I called and told someone that I wanted to talk to the upper management which is the owner and they said that they will send them an email but theyre in and out. So I said that if I dont hear from them, they will not get a good review from me. Thats why Im doing this review now. Havent heard from them.

We made an appointment to have our house moved a month ahead of time and got everything setup with the assistant for a Sunday. Everything was going smoothly until we got a call from that same assistant 3 days before the move telling us that she made a mistake and had forgotten they dont move on Sundays. I told her that we had to give up possession of the current property on that Monday, so we had to move that Saturday or Sunday, she told me she couldnt do either and that they could schedule us for the following week, I told her that was not acceptable, but she had a "meh" kind of attitude and told her there was nothing else they could do. I followed this up by sending a direct response to their corporate office in regards to the situation the following day. During that time, the corporate office made contact with the manager for that office and then in turn that specific manager called us to apologize. He advised us that there was a miscommunication between him and the assistant, and that the call was meant to see if we could push back the moving date since they dont move on Sundays, if not, they still had people on standby to move us on that Sunday. I advised him that in the 24 hours from the time it took from when the assistant told us the bad news to him calling me back, we thankfully were able to secure other movers (our brokers son and some of his friends), so we wouldnt need there services any longer. I also advised him that waiting until 3 days before a move is not an acceptable time to call back and advise a customer that they cant do it, it puts the customer in a bad spot. The manager understood and was very apologetic, I told him I do appreciate him calling back and trying to right the wrong so to speak. I would have given them 1 star if it werent for the call back and apology, but 2 stars is more than appropriate for this particular situation. I would still recommend the company as we have had them move some things for us in the past and have been pretty awesome with it, they just need to make sure they are paying attention to the days they are scheduling people and not calling 3 days or even a week before someone has to move so theyre not putting that customer in a pickle.

First of all, let me say, I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. But heres what happened. We decided to hire Two Men and a Truck to help us move to make it easier for us when our daughter was in the hospital for a week. I talked to them, told them every single item that was in my apartment and they gave me an appropriate estimate. When the movers got there, they were very nice and professional. But then they said they didnt bring a big enough truck, shrugged their shoulders and went on their way, only having completed half of the move. They didnt offer to finish our move or take another trip. When asked they said they were only allowed one trip. So, without a rented uhaul (which we usually get because we usually move ourselves), my husband and I had to wait until my parents were watching our daughter in the hospital to take both of our cars on several trips and finish the move that Two Men and a Truck didnt complete. After that week was over, I called to find out what happened. Where was the break down in communication that this occurred? After much phone tag, I ended up talking to Cristy who offered to refund half our money since half a move was completed. Two weeks later, the money still hasnt been refunded so I emailed her. She assures me that she will talk to accounting and get it refunded. Five weeks after the move, I send another email (as email seems to be the only way to get a response). She sends me an email basically saying "I dont understand, you said you were ok paying the whole amount." So, in a nutshell, Two Men and a Truck took complete advantage of a young couple with a new baby, completed half our move, and kept all our money. Im highly disappointed in this company and would suggest people go elsewhere for their moving needs. It made an already very difficult and stressful time much, much worse.
