We picked Two Men And A Truck based on the reviews we saw here on Google ... and then we immediately regretted our decision. Guys came in an unmarked truck, and then immediately had issues moving our furniture. They were quick moving us out of our house, but nearly toppled our fence over in the process. The two guys seemed to do a good job, but then.... We moved into our new place. It had stairs, which was precisely the reason we wanted movers. They damaged the walls, the handrail, even the ceilings around the staircases. They couldnt move the couch up the stairs (too heavy), even though after talking with some managers a new crew came back and moved it up fine. But, we were still left with all of the damage in our new place: paint scratched, drywall dented and pieces falling out, handrail coming off the wall, dents in the ceiling, etc... And the damage to our stuff. I cannot describe how much damage to our stuff weve found. Every ... single ... piece ... of ... furniture ... and ... every ... single ... box ... had something damaged or broken in it. Our loveseats leather has been scratched up bad, and some of the stuffing on the ends is now coming out. Our dresser had a ton of dents put into it (the guys wanted to argue about whether they had done it or not, even though the dresser was delivered a week earlier). Our bed framed had wood and finishing scratched off ... and one of our beds is missing the built-in protective under-cover. Each box labeled "fragile" or "do not stack" had something stacked on top of it. We lost a whole box of dishes after it was plopped down on the floor (with fragile written all over the top of it). On top of it all, we had a few things come up missing as well. Most of our boxes were packed, so they didnt have a chance to get into them, but we gave them a cooler with water that also had some stuff that needed to remain cold. They passed up on the healthy cookies and went straight for some Japanese candy. Not a big deal, but I didnt pay them to damage my stuff and eat my food. We are pretty sure we are missing at least one box; probably left on the truck accidentally, but its frustrating when you cant find things. The two guys were rude beyond belief. They wanted to argue with my wife until they brought up the box with my shotguns. They made themselves scarce after I tore them down to inspect them (no damage, thank God). Oh, and instead of wrapping my mattresses up before moving them, they just laid them out bare ... so now they smell like sweaty, crappy movers. Id be okay with sweaty good movers, but the stench of their b.o, and general lack of moving skills is almost too much to bear. Managers seemed good when we reported issue. "No problem, well fix it. Well fix that. Well come and put your loveseat together correctly (oh, did I mention, I cant recline in my reclining loveseat because they couldnt put it back together again properly ... after unnecessarily tearing it down to move it)." Now, two weeks later, we cant get anybody on the phone. Have been trying to fill out the claim form, but nobody will talk to us about it. I understand some damage (to house and property) during a move. Ive scratched some paint off in my time. But this kind of damage was over the line ... way past the line of "accidental" and into the territory of "reckless." I wouldnt trust them as far as I could kick them ... and I really wanted to kick them off the job and finish myself. Use at your own risk. Dont buy anything new before you move - these people will just damage it up. Was concerned that my name is posted with this review, since we still need to get the claims resolved, but it seems like our call is getting screened. Maybe this will kick a few butts into gear ... cause nothing else has so far.

This place is a joke they quote you one price and its something else when they are done. It cost me $800.00 more plus I had to have them get a van to for the stuff they werent able to load I had to rent and storage and I had to load and store additional stuff they couldnt load. I requested a quote with a visual they told me they didnt do that I was trying to tell the lady about all the stuff I had and all she did was talk over me. They damaged my new dinning table chair, scratch my TV broke our thread mill cracked our glass coffee table they tore our new leather couches scratched our king size bed. They are horrible took 8 hours on a job that should have been 4 hours they had 3 guys one was useless. I had them store my stuff over night for a fee of 150 the next day they came out they were lost I told them directions he kept talking over me. They are haulers not movers. Worst mistake ever hiring this company. Stay away from this company. They have good reviews they ask you to call them to fix any problem so they can get reviews. I have gave them a bad review and no one hasnt even called me to see what happened. This place know that you need them once they are out they take advantage of ppl they know they are charging per the hour so they take their time.

Bait and switch method by amateur movers. If I could give them zero stars I would. If you are considering using this company you might as well flush your money down the toilet I was quoted 4 to 6 hours to move a two bedroom (without kitchen appliances) to a house, 10 minutes away Two movers showed up at 8.30am and told me since we were located on a third floor and not a second floor, the move will take 7 hours. Since I didnt catch their mistake for the floor location on the estimate I said find. At 5.30pm, after one broken chandelier, one hole in a drywall and despite the help of a third guy to unload the truck they were still not done but "graciously" told me they were now officially off the clock and would not charge us for more than 9 hours !!!!!! They didnt finish the move until 7pm. I have been using moving companies for years and this is by far the most unprofessional a deceiving company I have ever seen. When I contacted their office to let them know what I thought about their services, all i got was a "thanks", not even an apology. If you decide to use their services, just double the hours of moving they are quoting you.

Kriste got me scheduled with only a weeks notice AT THE END OF THE MONTH, after "All My Sons" during confirmation wanted to charge me $109.00 travel time (they are across the street) and $60.00 for mattress cover, $65.00 for shrink wrap and I stopped him mid-sentence (there were more charges to come) and immediately called "Two Men & A Truck". Kriste was amazing! She listened to my disappointment and immediately began to set my expectations with exact figures I could live with and NO extras hidden charges. Eric was my lead mover and he was a detail guy, wanted to know where to place everything and did an excellent job (he could have given his crew a bit more direction, they did not cover my $4000.00 chairs--but they made it just fine) overall an amazing experience! I HIGHLY recommend Two Men and A Truck.
