Moved 3 miles away. Did all the packing myself and lined it up in the hallway and the garage to easily move with dollies. The crew showed up 15 minutes early, and they were a very nice group of guys. I purchased them lunch and they were helpful throughout the day. The problem arises when it comes to sales and billing. I was quoted 7 hours, and 1 hour of travel time. Supposedly, packing materials were included in the original quote. The team ended up finishing in 6 hours, but for some reason I ended up paying $400 more. They had added $300 of packing materials ???? (I packed everything mind you) and they charged me for not only the 1 hour of travel time, but the crew took an hour driving to the next home (3 miles away, they would not follow me for some reason). Do you think that hour was backed out along with the lunch? Nope. I was contacted by Jason, from their office. He explained everything to me...basically repeating the same thing over and over. "Our quote was good, we do start time to end time, no matter what happens in between, blah blah blah"...I asked him to explain the hour it took the crew to get 3 miles and why I was charged for it, he said he would talk to the driver. I also asked the materials used to "pack" my home, and why they cost $300 when I was the one that packed everything, and it only cost me about $150 for all protection materials, tape, and boxes. I have included a photo of the "packing materials" they used...aka my kids blanket. They also sell you on protecting your home, and will show you many pictures of them wrapping doors, putting stuff on the floors, wrapping your expensive items. They wrapped the expensive items as little as possible, and did nothing to protect mine or my wifes road bikes. They also did not put any floor protection down, or wrap doors. Be very careful, get a lot of quotes, and be ready for surprise costs at the end of your move with these guys. I ended up paying around $800 more than a family member that had more stuff, and the movers actually packed their entire kitchen. Quality movers with better prices are out there, go find them. I wish I would have read reviews on these guys beforehand, but Im going to chalk it up as a learning experience. Edit: The next day Jason called me to let me know they had found some discrepancies on their end, and would refund me around $330. He let me know that I didnt have to do anything, and its already been processed. Refund has been processed. Appreciate it.

PATHETIC is the only word I can use to describe All My Sons Moving & Storage in The Woodlands. These guys are a joke! We made the mistake of letting these guys (Chris, Fidel and one other guy) move us in July 2014 and we regret it. They scratched our wood floors and generally beat up our walls - even gouging a large hole in one spot. When we called to report the damage, the "supervisor" on duty called my wife a liar. He immediately called the crew and they had terrible attitude afterward. At that point they stopped carrying boxes upstairs and refused to put our furniture back together. Additional attempts to contact their "claims dept" met with unanswered phone calls and no follow up. We were finally able to get in touch with Joel Hatch, a purported Business Development Manager, in Carrollton, TX after a month of countless missed connections with the local Woodlands office. His only offer was $150 if we would sign a waiver to not post negative reviews. This so called "moving company" needs to be put out of business for their lack of customer service. There are too many reputable moving companies out there for these guys to get away with this type of stupidity.

I only gave our movers and moving company a 1 star rating, because I had to choose a star before being able to leave a review. I have moved from Canada to Australia and to three different locations in Texas. This is not my first time doing this. You have to be the worst company to deal with. Calling me a liar to my husband about taking a pool table apart and putting it back together. Once finally getting our belongings we find things that are not ours, so who know at this point if I will have all my things or not. No furniture put back together, just left in pieces still with blankets or crates wrapped in them. I asked for all boxes to be left in the garage, I was hoping they would be neatly stacked and not just thrown in the garage. Many boxes and containers are being crushed and what I have already uncovered are broken. You told me that you would move my hot tub. I look at it now and cry. It is badly scratched and cracked. While the crew were nice young men they lack the maturity to handle my belongings with care. Moving is stressful enough, you have pushed me over the edge with this move. For this I guess I thank you.

Horrible experience today. Was quoted $119/hour and was never told about a two hour minimum. We even confirmed the price to be sure. My husband moved most of the stuff the day before in order to leave just a few heavy items for the movers. We moved within the same apartment complex and was on the first floor for both. No stairs involved. We live in The Woodlands which is close to the moving company. My husband was given the bill for $400 and couldnt believe it. He called and talked to Matthew who told him there was a two hour minimum AND an hour driving charge. None of this was disclosed upfront and it doesnt make sense. This very simple move that didnt even take an hour of their time is costing us just as much as a job that would take them an hour to drive to and double work. If any of this was disclosed upfront, we would have hired someone else. That is the scam they are running here. Look at the reviews on Yelp. I wish we would have. These guys are crooks and I am going to spread the word so others are not robbed by them.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! STAY AWAY! I was quoted a minimum of $129 & maximum of $250 to move a few pieces of furniture across the street. One of the movers was very hostile and kept threatening to walk out over a single piece of solid furniture. My wall got damaged in the process and proceeded to blame my mother simply watching them from across the room. The biggest shocker was that they charged $300 more than the max quoted prices at $550! When I spoke to a manager, he would not let me speak and let us know that unless we sign the bill, they will not release our belongings from the locked truck. STAY AWAY! After speaking with the BBB this company has been reported over and over for similar complaints. ***IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY REACH OUT TO BBB FOR A CASE AND TXDMV FOR A MEDIATOR. YOU MAY ALSO CONTACT KPRC CHANNEL 2 NEW INVESTIGATORS AS THEY ARE DOING A REVOLVING INVESTIGATION ON THIS COMPANY! WARNING THEY WILL MAKE YOU SIGN A NONDISCLOSURE BEFORE THE RELEASE ANY REFUNDS!
