The three young men who moved me in were great. That was the only good thing about the move in (from across the country) with Coleman Allied in Manhattan, KS. Ive always used Allied for moving, but this particular affiliate group is so poorly run. There was some damage to several book cases, and some screws were missing on my futon sofa. Fine, that is what insurance is for. The movers told me to call someone in the office to find out about how to resolve the issues. I left messages for her and she never, ever called me back. When, 2.5 weeks after the move, I finally reached her in the office, she said that someone else was handling my move, and she could not even log in to see my shipment listing.That does not explain why she did not return my calls asking for help. I left a message for the "right" person, and did not hear back either. I contacted the Allied movers that picked up my things in another state, and they guided me through how to file a claim on line and have kept following up with me. This Manhattan KS office is also disorganized in other ways. By move in day, they had not called me to say when the movers would move me in. When I first called they said they had not received my things. It took my Allied movers from out of state to track down the shipment, in the Kansas office. To their credit they did move me in the day as stated, but I should not have had to arrange for all of this, if they had been on the ball. I hate to leave a bad review, but I truly cannot recommend making a move with this company.

I have never experienced any moving company quite like this! Very sloppy handling of our furniture in a local move to storage. They damaged furniture, broke awards and trophies that can never be replaced and then just dumped organized household items and craft items from plastic bin into boxes. After 20 years in the military, this was my worst experience with movers. The government hired them to do three days work packing and three days work unpacking. They rushed to get it packed in two days, and unpacked in 1 day, staying after their prescribed work hours. I bet they still got paid for the full three days. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Very sloppy handling of our furniture in a local move (less than 3 miles). They damaged furniture, soaked a mattress and then threatened to not even conduct a claims process until we had paid everything in full. After 15 moves in the military, this comes close to my worst experience with movers and a local general manager. I would never recommend this company.

Coleman Movers were friendly and professional. They took great care in packing my moms household items and delivered them to her new home. The items were placed where requested and precautions were taken to protect her items and her home. I would definitely recommend them. Stress free moving, thanks to Coleman Movers!
