Given the option to roll back time, I would never have gone with Mayflower for my out-of-state move. The guy (Scott) wanted to remove a shelf from my cabinet before loading it. Before I could respond, he pulled the shelf letting everything on it fall to the bottom. But that was minor compared to how they loaded my leather sectional and ottoman: no padding, said it will be done at warehouse; dragged them against nails on door; dropped couch just outside the porch. Out of 7 pieces of furniture I have to put down 5 on the claims form for replacement/damages. Glad I selected full value protection, now have to see if they actually pay up.

I would never recommend United Mayflower Storage & Moving Containers. They were over 2 hours late to deliver the container when I had paid movers to arrive on time to move items into the container. When they did arrive, there was no apology or any recognizing they were late. I had marked off on the driveway where I wanted the container to go and they completely ignored the markings. When it was time to pick up the container they were also untimely and just left some wood boards that were balancing the container in my driveway. Not worth the price at all, go with a POD!
