Shortly before I moved, there was a report on the news about movers and "hidden costs," underbidding moves and charging the customer additional amounts, holding their belongings until paid. Having moved across state lines before and getting hit with additional charges when my things were being delivered, I tend to be a bit cautious. For this move, all other movers quoted me based upon the information I provided by phone. This was how I ended up owing more money upon delivery a number of years ago. I was very impressed that you took the time to come out and inventory the items to be moved and/or get packed. I also felt comfortable that there would not be additional amount due at the end. The actual service was excellent. For my move to Houston, I used one of the major carriers. It took about 2 hours longer to load the truck and the driver had a bit of attitude because I was on the 4th floor (with service elevators) in both locations. Your team was efficient, respectful and even considering how heavy some of my pieces are, there was never any negative attitude. Additionally, for a couple of items with some minor damage, it was pointed out before being wrapped. Finally, the fact that my things were delivered the next day, instead of having to wait until the truck passed through New Orleans, was wonderful. Although I never want to move again, I would use you again in a heart beat and highly recommend you to anyone I know in Houston that has to move.

From the first conversation with Caroline, I knew I was going to use 2 men and a truck. She was extremely helpful and an absolute JOY to work with.....it was like we had been friends for years! The team of Jason, Michael Miller and Alex arrived ~ 8:00 AM, as requested. They were very efficient with loading the truck - Jason guesstimated about 1.45 hours but it was 3 hrs before they left. Unfortunately they had to turn around and come back because we all forgot to load the washer/ dryer. Then they accidently locked the ignition keys in the truck and had to take time to recover them. Unloading the truck didnt go nearly as smoothly. I watched as Mike fell off the back of the truck onto his back and a wardrobe box marked heavy landed on him - very scary! Later he dropped another box from the top of the stack and then moving a 7 tall bookcase, they hit the moving ceiling fan and its off balance now. The triple dresser mirror was chipped but Jason found the wood and fixed it to my satisfaction. The guys were professional and respectful from beginning to end. Hopefully Mike was just having an off day and this isnt par for the course. I would still recommend 2 men and a truck to friends and family.

I used their services twice and first and foremost I need to say that these guys really work hard. With the first move they came late- although they did call and indicate that, they have another move in the morning one day prior to my move. The problem was, when they finally arrived, they had already worked some hours and by law could not work in excess of what OSHA specified to move all my stuff. So I ended up having to move the rest over two weeks!! Secondly I had some damage to a brand new refrigerator - that I just ignored thinking that the damage is not that great so why bother. The second move however went really bad. They badly damaged the same refrigerator and to top that I had two compressors disappear. This is being investigated as we speak. Unfortunately I just ignored inspecting their truck post the move as it feels awkward doing stuff like that. I would like to see what happens about the damage and missing goods. This company moves folk for a living and one does not need incidents like stuff disappearing to happen. I cannot and will not bring them into my house again. If this gets resolved satisfactory I will remove this review - if not - - - - - well it stays

I would give 10 stars if I could. Peanut, Larry, and Effrain killed it today!! I run a business from my home (upstairs) that requires heavy machinery and one massive, heavy, custom-made, cutting table. For months, Ive been a nervous wreck just thinking about how anyone could possibly get my huge beautiful table moved safely (over my new wood banister, past freshly painted walls, down the slippery stairs, and out the front door)!! I drove myself nuts anyalyzing every possible way it could be done, which was zero. Worst case, Id have to either alter the stairs or destroy the table, and neither was an option. But, these three guys, who play Tetris all day long, sooo proved me wrong!! They NOT only packed up my house in record time (coming way under estimate and saving me much needed money), but they got my table out of my house in minutes without a single dent or scratch. My paint job is in perfect condition and my stairs look better than they deserve!! I am beyond elated that my table is safe in its new home and uber impressed with this company and these guys!!! You have my business from now on!

This is the first time Ive hired movers and my experience went smoothly. They were helpful and moved all of my items in a proper amount of time. They made moving enjoyable and held conversations to make moving fun. Because who likes moving?! Only complaint is they were a little late and I did not receive a courtesy call prior to the morning appointment that was made. Most service companies that Ive dealt with have given courtesy calls. I think it would be more professional to do so. Instead I had to call the office to track the movers down and find out their ETA. Another issue was they left one metal part to the side and I have no idea if my bed set was installed correctly. Glancing at it, it looked correct. But after they left, i found out theres a long metal piece that was left to the side. Have no idea but spoke with the sales rep and she did not acknowledge my issue. But they do have a damage report form that they let you fill out. Overall, would recommend them. Average rate for the market and comparable to other moving company prices.

My wife and I used 2 men and a truck on two separate occasions about 10 days apart. On our first trip, we needed 3 men and one truck and moved about 90 miles with Dallas, Larry, and Dane. On our second move, we asked for the same crew as we were going to need 4 men and 2 trucks. Unfortunately, we only got Dallas and Larry, but also got Stanley and Kenneth. Both crews were all very professional, courteous, and very careful with our belongings. I didn’t expect that they would ask and help put foot cushions on each piece of furniture as each piece was placed in the house as they were all personable and accommodating. They worked together as a team should and they all appeared to be having a good time together stopping, once on each move so we all could have lunch. They all took a lot of the stress out of the move. Christine in the office was wonderful helping set up each move and explaining everything we would need to know.
