The good..the location, price, & cleanliness are a major plus (woohoo for 2 stars) Now for the negatives. . I set up a reservation last Monday, 10/20 and completed the rental process the following Saturday, 10/25. The first complaint is Susan, the owner, called me at 11 something Saturday practically rushing me to complete the rental process, after I had already confirmed that I wanted the unit; however the facility did not close until 5PM that day and I still had plenty of time to complete the process. The second complaint, when I arrived, after 1PM, Susan and the only other employee working there both took a lunch at the same time (pretty dumb for any business); and she failed to provide that pertinent detail when she called 2 hours earlier. The third complaint, Sunday, 10/26, I planned to move my things into storage then head back to Houston; however, the gate code that was provided to me did not work. I literally tried it over 100 times. Cosidering it was Sunday I had no one to call. Extra Space Storage needs an emergency line for situations like that! The fourth complaint, when I finally got a chance to call the facility and inform them that my code did not work, some jackass named Al didnt seem bothered by it. He had a very rude tone, very sarcastic, and didnt take my concern seriously. He practically hung up in my face when I asked for him to leave a message for Susan. He has left a really bad impression not only for this location but for all of Extra Space Storage. If I had the option Id travel back to Grand Prairie, TX and remove my things from storage. This whole process has been nothing but a pain in the a**!!

I had been looking for a place to store my furniture while in between residences. When I first arrived into the facility, I was first greeted by Keysha. She greeted me with a pleasant hello and a smile. She has a genuine connection with her customers and makes you feel so welcomed. Shortly after that, Stephanie introduced herself to me. She is the property manager and I can tell that she truly enjoys what she does. She also had the welcoming personality and immediately I felt at ease. They have a way of making you feel like you are the only one there as they make sure that your concerns are put at ease and your questions are definitely answered. I might have found a place where it might have been a few dollars cheaper, but the level of safety i felt there, the overall concern and cleanliness of the property is totally worth every dollar. I hope that Extra Space Storage realizes they have two gems working for their comany.

From the time I walked into the building Ms. Stephanie was amazing!.. The lady who booked my unit over the phone failed to give me some information about the unit. It didnt make me to happy and I almost changed my mind about the storage. With respect and great customer service, Ms. Stephanie took the problems and made better of them. It actually put me in a better mood. Ms. Stephanie is a very good person and a great worker. She brings good energy to the company and I would recommend Extra Space Storage to my friends and family.!!

Location, Location, Location is the age old Business adage. The staff is most thoughtful patience and courteous I have met in any Professional industry. Its not just storage with Susan and Staff it a since of home. They went above and beyond to ensure my storage needs were met even in almost 2 inches of ice on the campus. I recently started storing my items here last minute and the staff here are freaking fantastic! They are so nice and helpful! Very friendly and quick to greet you with a smile! Love It! One employee name Stephanie even went so far to sweep our storage out and was very determined to get it clean out even when we told her it was okay! Great customer service. I highly recommend you store you things here at the 2255 Grand Prairie location!

I was in such a rush to find a storage unit and in a panic because my move was the next day, but I walked in rushed and was greeted by a huge smile and a hand shake and immediately felt at ease. She found me the size unit I needed in less then 5 minutes and at a super awesome rate. I even had a chance to meet the district manager, who was super nice. By the time I left, I was relaxed and felt a ton more confident about my move!

Had a great experience at extrapace storage, Stephanie was really nice enough to show me around the hole storage complex, and answered all me questions in a nice and professional time matter, this is my first time renting a storage unit and Im definitely looking forward to be a part of the extraspace storage family, also Im really great full that even I got here minutes before closing she was really nice about that. I was not impressed by this location which was surprising because I have been happy with other Extra Spaces before. It seemed dirty all around and I decided not to rent there. I went to use their restroom before I left but decided to wait till I got home because the restroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months.

My experience here at extra space storage was very pleasurable and the staff was extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Aaron was very helpful by showing me the storage space again and letting me know all the information I would need.. I would definitely recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone with storage needs.

Ive traveled around the world while in the military and have used storage units everywhere and the customer service reps at Extra Space Sorage are by far the friendliest I have ever experienced. Units are clean and appear quite safe and secure. The person who assisted me, Stephanie Walden, deserves a raise! Great job!

Renting from here was a smooth ans easy transaction. ESS is in a good.convient location and the hours of operation worked well for me. The insurance was a little pricey but I guess all ins. companies have been raising their prices! The manager was always and helpful. I wish they offered a moving truck though.
