This was the worst experience we could have imagined. We rented a unit only for 2 months while in transit from Dallas to Europe. We rented the unit because of the loading dock because we were going to be loading a container. Our truck with the container was delayed and we asked the person (Stephen) at the desk if he could make sure the truck was backed up to the loading dock. He agreed and said it "would not be a problem". We arrive the next day with the truck in the middle of the parking lot. We had to lift a whole house worth of furniture 5 feet off the ground into the truck. He said "he could not be held responsible for where the truck was parked". I called on November 28th to indicate we did not need the unit as of November 30th. Again, Stephen said nothing additional was needed. I just received notice that we are past due. I called and spoke with Ben who indicated we needed to leave our keys and the door up to indicate we were moving out and we should have known to leave the keys. Yes, I should have remembered to leave the keys but we were moving transatlantic and I didnt think of it - especially since Stephen didnt mention it on the phone call. Long story short, I get to pay $282 for fun for not even using the property in December and they will not even compromise and meet me half way. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

My experience with securing a storage unit was absolutely effortless. Ben in the office was extremely efficient and courteous. He honored the on-line coupon even though I didnt have it with me. He went through the trouble to look it up. Most people would say, no, if you dont have the coupon we cant give you the deal. I liked that he seemed to know I was in a hurry (even though I didnt say so), so he wasted no time taking care of everything. He showed me the unit to make sure it was the size I had in mind. He took the time to show me how to operate the lock to the unit and the keypad for access in and out. The location is in a very good part of town, so I feel secure going to the unit by myself. And I would like the owner of this facility to know that the business is in good hands with Ben. His customer service was excellent!!!

I have never rented a storage space, never had a clue how to go about it. I have an emergency situation and i needed storage for three months. Ben walked me through whats available and he helped me figure out what size of space i should rent, the safest lock that there is in the market, products for packing, storage and introduced me to rental insurance which was very affordable for my household items. It was like a one stop shop and thanks to the wonderful customer service by Ben. Im glad that in situations when someone is so fragile, I was not a number, Ben treated like a person. The location is safe, in the heart of Las Colinas where i will be staying temporarily so i will have easy access.

Ben is amazing!!..... i have used different locations of public storage for about 15 years for my job and have had the best experience at this location. Ive used this location for over 2 yrs and Ben has gone above and beyond to be kind and thoughtful. Once he helped me move a load of boxes in my car that took about 20 mins to load..... he didnt have to offer or help.... but he did! He didnt complain one time! He has called me when I forgot to put my lock on my unit, again 15 years at different locations and i have never received this kind of service. This is my first time writing a review on yelp.... i was moved to do so.... Ben is just that awesome!

I was in a panic and stressed as I needed to find storage quickly! I called and Geoff was MY ANGEL!!! I had an accident and was on crutches. He met me outside, asked me what he can do for me and his politeness never wavered! He showed me the unit and was very very very kind!!!! I then went to fill out all the paper work and thats when I met Ben, the property Mgr. super nice! There was also another male in the office, his name I dont remember, but he was very nice as well! I could not have been more satisfied with the treatment, the kindness and the professionalism that Geoff displayed! Wow!!!!

I would recommend Public Storage in Irving! We had wonderful service from Ben. He was so helpful, patient, and accommodating! He easily answered all of our questions and helped recommend a good size unit for our needs. We felt like we were in "good hands" and that he was helping us get the most out of our space/money. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. Also, we felt very safe and would feel comfortable coming in/out of our unit any time. If you are looking for a storage unit, this is the place to go!

My recent experience with public storage was quick. The only concern I had was the mandatory insurance request without being given the oppuritunity to check with my current insurance carrier before signing up for needless coverage I signed up for before contacting my insurance agent. Also the need to purchase a mattress cover "mandatory". When initially signing up for the storage unit online the only mandatory item required was the cynlinder lock which had to be purchased at location. Staff was friendly.

Public Storage in Valley Ranch is clean, clutter free and access to your unit is easy. I have visited other storage units and had to stop what I was doing to move my vehicle due to tight spaces. They check the property throughout the day, I had left my keys in my unit, they locked it with there key and immediately gave me a call to confirm my lost keys. I recommend this property every time. It was my first time to avail such self storage and was really hesitant to get 1 initially due to some security reasons, but i did try to visit this public storage along N MacArthur, Ben was so nice to accomodate and i decided to register and get 1 of the storage room. Its highly recommended especially with Ben, the store manager was helpful and accomodating.

Ben and Public Storage have been fantastic! Ben was very courteous and helped me out when I needed to make a long distance move. His help with storing my stuff as well as helping out with the movers made my move less stressful. Ben has provided excellent customer service every time that I interacted with him. The unit was also very clean and well maintained.

Miguel was very knowledgable about all aspects of the property. Showed us around the property pointing out all security features such as cameras, lighting, and both outside storage units as well as inside units. We asked to see several different sized units to meet our needs. Miguel was extremely polite and efficient. He should be made a manager!

Ben was very helpful and curtious even though we were late to our prearranged appointment time. The property was very well kept and the service is great. Storage buildings smelled clean and no sign of dirt, bugs, or messes. If youre looking for a clean storage building with great services and prices, this is definitely a great option!
