Need a new roof on my 18 years old home and I called up Craddock roofing and Tom stopped by, doing the measurement and gave me an estimate. The price is not the lowest but defenitely not the highest. To me, the price is reasonable based on materials they use (Certainteed Landmark Pro or GAF timberline HD). Tom explained in detail what material they will use, the process of the installation and the warranties they offer. He seems a trust-worthy person, knowing what hes doing. Only thing would be that they are so fully booked that i have to wait 4-6 weeks before they start. So far, Tom has been great in communicating and answering my questions thru email and he does care about his cutomers. I strongly feel he will get the job done prefessionally and will definitely have another review once the job is done. Update: Tom gave me a detail introduction on the materials and the process how his team will install the shingles, and walked me thru all the details. In the quote he gave me afterwards, he listed different options and their prices and I chose Certainteed Landmark Pro, Max Def Moiré Black, which turned out to be great looking on my house. Oh, I forgot to mention that the reason I’m replacing my roof is that there was a leak around the jacks during one the storms in April and I figured that it would be better to replace the whole thing given that the roof is almost 20 years old. Though tom told me that they have to wait for at least 4-6 weeks before they can start due to capacity, he patched the leaking area without charges. Right after the fix, we had several storms, including the devastating 100 year rain/flood, but no leak anymore. 4 weeks after signing the contract, I talked to Tom to see if he can start early to accommodate my travel plan in May, and he quickly agreed and the roof was done in two days. The crew spoke and understood English very well and kindly addressed my questions the whole time during the installation. After the job is done, Jesse, the manager came over and did a detailed inspection of the work and addressed a few issues I pointed out (space between the shingle and gutter etc.). Overall, I loved the job and the new shingles look beautiful and I feel that my house looks newer. I will definitely hire them again in the future if anything need to be done with the roof.

Had an absolutely perfect experience with Craddock Roofing. It began with my first meeting with Parker, who explained all the various materials options that were available, and gave an unbiased cost-benefit analysis of each of them. Prior to the actual project beginning, I met with Parker and Jesse so that they would be aware of my special needs and concerns. From the beginning all the way to the end, Jesse was the definition of the perfect supervisor. Always polite, always helpful, always attentive. Each day began with protections being built to protect my slate courtyard, and to protect the delicate camera-phone system in my gate. Each and every night, all these protections were removed, and the area totally "manicured" to factory-new cleanliness. The next morning, all the protections were reinstalled. I asked for, and received, MULTIPLE photos of the work as it progressed. An almost unheard of special feature of Craddock is that they HAND NAIL each and every shingle. All the other roofers I talked to use pneumatic nailers, which dont even come close to the perfection of hand nailing. Takes much more time, but the result is orders of magnitude better. Im a cranky, nit-picky customer, and difficult to please, but Craddock did it. To Parker and Jesse (must again mention how spectacular Jesse was), THANKS FOR A PERFECT JOB!!

After spending many hours researching roofing companies in the Houston area and meeting with several other companies, we chose Craddock roofing. We wanted a local company that had been in business a long time, is a member of the BBB (with A+ ratings), and a company that was willing to give us a reference list. After meeting with Mr. Craddock, we knew we made the right choice. We did take the time to call numerous people on the reference list and every reference that we called gave positive feedback regarding Mr. Craddock; his company and employees; and the roofing installation. Craddock roofing has installed two new roofs for us (the second roof was an insurance claim due to hail damage). We are so confident in his company we have referred him to family and friends! He and his employees are professional, knowledgeable, and have integrity. The roofing installers always answer questions; are on time; work hard; are courteous and respect the homeowner’s property. You may have to wait to have your roof installed but you won’t be disappointed in the quality of the service and installation!

Owner came out inspected roof and provided estimate with shingle choices with optional roof vent treatments and underlayments. We were put on installation list and roof was replaced in one day. Had plywood roofing deck replaced where necessary and new wind turbines installed. Especially appreciated that they were located on back side of roof not visible from street like originals were. The foreman was a polite gentleman and addressed any of the concerns we had right away. Have had no issues with roof since installed, believe it has actually reduced the temperature in the attic so an added benefit. Would highly recommended Craddock Roofing and with the security of knowing they have been in business in Houston SINCE 1984! They have been doing it right for a very long time!

My experience with Craddock Roofing was exceptional. Tom was prompt in coming over and gave me an detailed estimate , although the job was some weeks out due to storm backlog. Tom was accurate in determining when they could get to us, which allowed us to do some summer travel. The crew was professional and courteous, and supervisor Jesse kept me up to date on progress. Craddock worked with me and my insurance company to keep my out of pocket costs low. I communicated with 3-4 different contractors at the time and instantly dropped the rest after talking with Craddock Roofing. They were very knowledgeable with the work and also was very willing to work with the budget. Knowing that they have been in business for a long time also gave me a peace of mind that I can call them years down the road for warranty repairs. The workers all showed up on time and did a wonderful job on the roof. I couldnt have been more pleased with the whole experience.

Craddock Roofing replaced my roof during the summer of 2016 following hail damage. I am very satisfied with the timeliness of their inspection following my initial call, their work with/thru my insurance company, guidance in selection of my replacement roofing materials and finally its installation and post job clean-up. I would both use their services again (but I have my fingers crossed that this wont be necessary anytime soon) as well as recommend them to others.

We are thrilled with our new roof. This is our second Craddock roof. Mostly I appreciate that Tom Craddock came out to evaluate our roof several years ago and advised us to wait. His honesty cost him money at the time but saved us money by getting more wear out of existing roof. Never had a problem if any kind with old roof of 27 years. We are happy customers.
