I am writing this review to help others avoid a terrible customer service experience. I experienced the same headaches and frustrations as some other people have. I got the run around, the customer service was horrible, there was no communication, and no call backs (even when they repeatedly said they would). I also requested to speak to the manager and they were not available when I called. The manager never called me back after I requested to speak with him and left a message to return my call. He finally contacted me back after several attempts. They took a month and 2 weeks to get our first car repair completed. This was by far the worst customer service I ever experienced or so I thought.... I thought our nightmare was over but boy I was wrong. I took the car to get checked out by Firestone and they said there was major damage underneath that had not been repaired. Also the repairs they did do, they did not do them correctly. I would not have returned to this shop, but had to because the insurance company wouldnt pay for someone to redo the work. How does a car shop not notice that the fuel tank and the catalytic converter are damaged? When we took our car back to Eastex, Dustin (the manager) said that they were having hard time getting good technicians and knowing what they were doing. He said he was trying to get their guys trained well. Ummm...not something a customer wants to hear. He was even worse at customer service than our original person we dealt with. We called several times and always got a voice mail or had to leave a message with a service rep. Once agin, he was terrible at returning calls. It took over a month for the second round of repairs. I took the car to Mazda and to Firestone after having the car repaired there the second time. This time someone had gone in and broke our ignition lock cylinder, did not mount the radiator back in correctly and our bumper is still sticking out on the sides. They also left our ambient temperature sensor just hanging inside the engine area. Mazda confirmed that our ignition lock cylinder could not be broken through the wreck. It had worked the first time we got the car back, so it obviously happened after we took it back the second time. Firestone said there was no oil on the dipstick and had to replace 3 quarts of oil. Eastex had been paid during the second round of repairs to complete an oil change by our insurance company. How does a car lose that much oil within a couple weeks without a serious leak?? This place is full of people who dont care at all about you, your car or anything else but ripping people off. We dealt with Ruben, Dustin and JC. JC seemed to be the easiest person to get to return phone calls and actually talk to you. He seemed to be the only person at Eastex that knew how to deal with a customer. Please dont use this business if you want good repair work. It is an extremely awful experience. The employees and manager are incompetent. I just dont want anyone to have to deal with this horrible business. It was the worst experience Ive ever had. Customers beware.....

“BE AWARE OF THIS JOKE AS A BUSINESS AND THE RACIEST JOKER WHO MANAGE IT” Eastex Collision is not a repair shop that cares about satisfying the customer. My experience was beyond horrible. The accident occurred in NE Houston and I was towed to Eastex Collision where they swindled me in to choosing them as my repair shop. The service tech Brian (who is no longer employed because DUSTIN made a scene and fired him in front of customers) made a promise to have my car repaired in two weeks, put brand new parts on all damaged items, and contact me every day to give me an update. Oh and not to mention as an incentive, he agreed to pay one half of my deductible to gain my business. FAIL because THIS WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!!! As a result of all of the promises, my car was in the shop at Eastex for over 30 days which exceeded the allowed rental day and caused me some out of pocket fees which was not reimbursed by EASTEX. All of the parts used to repair my car were used and from pick a part, but billed to Progressive as new parts. When I question the work did on my car, Dustin (Manager) became upset and did not want to listen to my concern. According to DUSTIN, he stated human error occurs which is a part of nature in a rude tone. He also stated for me to accept the repairs from Eastex or take my car somewhere else and pay out of pocket. Once I got my car back, I seemed to have more out of pocket repairs than before from EASTEX not putting the parts back in my car properly. I have spent over $1500.00 in repairs which Dustin refuses to reimburse. Recently, I went back because of a major repair problem that keeps occurring. Dustin was very rude from time I walked in the building. He told me I had been there too many times and he is no longer acknowledging my warranty. I showed him a copy of the warranty that stated it is LIFETIME WARRANTY. Per DUSTIN verbatim “I should have read the fine print… He has the right to refuse service to anyone of his choice and I need to leave the premises. At this point I ask for the owner and he refuse to call him to the front. Dustin began to shout racial slurs such as the N-word towards me, ordered the repair tech to close my hood without putting the part back together and told me I was considered trespassing. As of today, my car is still not repaired. So if you ever seeking a collision repair shop, please use the recommendations from your insurance or go to the dealership where customer satisfaction matters. EASTEX COLLISION IS NOT PART OF BBB DUE TO TOO MANY COMPLAINTS. THE TECHNICIANS ARE NOT LICENSED. THE MANAGER IS PREJUDICE, RUDE, BELIGERANT AND HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE VALUES!!!! RUN RUN RUN IS JUST A RIP OFF! FOR OTHER BLOGS AND CONCERNS REGARDING EASTEX COLLISION, PLEASE GOOGLE EASTEX COLLISION AND YOU WILL SEE THE MANY COMPLAINTS BY THEIR CUSTOMERS.

This place is a total Rip off, pray if you get into an accident that they dont show up, 1st I lose my corvette valentines day morning to some girl who ran a red light not paying attention and on her phone, To make matters worse I get put in the hospital, She has no insurance or DL for that matter and my car gets towed off to this yard, I go down a couple days later to get some things out of the car, Before going my insurance calls me and tells me not to sign a thing when I get there (thank god they did) so I get there and Im sat down at a desk by a guy who seemed to be a nice guy, He brings out some paperwork and I read over it all, I stated I was just there to pick up a few things out of my car for work as well as my sub and amp, The paper he tried to get me to sign was a document Allowing them to bring my car into their body shop Tear it down for an estimate on the total repairs and I was told this is the only way I can get into the car to take anything major (sub and amp) out of it, I told them I have another body shop it was going to go to If it be the case that my insurance was going to repair the car, He takes the paperwork back and says I wont be allowed to get the sub and amp but the work related things I could, he also stated he was to busy to bring me onto the yard and Id have to wait in the impound line, So about a good half hour later I reach the front told them the story and was asked if I signed the body shop release, When I told them no I was handed off to another fellow with your typical salesmen like demeanor almost trying to force me to sign the paper, he than brought me out to the shop to show me an "example" of the work they did, all they did was show me a C7 corvette that was in pieces with a bunch of boxes full of parts next to it and said this is the kind of work we do, I told him your not showing me anything here but a wreck C7 and told him to bring me to my car so I can get my DOT log book, I took a pic for mt insurance company and had this guy telling me they might not total loss my car, I pointed to him that the Frame rails going up to the Rad support were bent at a 90* angle and there is no way they are not going to total a 18 Year old corvette with 117K miles on it, with frame damage like that, Ill say it now, if you go down there Do not sign any work authorization document, It is a scam for them to take responsibility to fix your car and in a case of a total loss your insurance will not pay for the estimate to repair it they make, You have the right to pick your own body shop in the state of Texas dont let them take it from you. Also bear in mind Eastex and us 59 enterprises are the same company
