I have spent Thousands of dollars getting my car fixed there and I will never give them my car to work on again. Eric sold us on the idea not letting just anyone fix my car so we decided to spend a little more and get better work done. I caught him in two lies and concerning my cars repair work. I told him there was a sound coming from the rear wheel and it sounded like a CV joint. He got the car and told me the clutch needed to be replaced, when I returned with the car making the same noises the mechanic drove it around and said it was the CV joint. Erics remedy was that it was fine and did not need to be replaced any time soon. It finally broke in rush hour traffic on 59. The second lie happened with a $700 dollar gear shift assembly. The same issue occurred almost one year later at a stop light. One thing lead to another and I just decided dive in myself and take a look. It just so happen that it was a very small locking type washer that need to be reseated to the stick shift. He initially charged me $700. I work very hard for my money, and the Deception cost me thousands. I paid extra not to be inconvenienced and given the run around by petty mistakes from what should be a crew of real technicians. They are not the only Euro car mechanics in town, as I have found out.

Eric at Eurocar Werk ripped me off. I took my 2001 mercedes cl 500 into Eurocar - Werk cause i was having problems with the ABC and the car was also stuck in park and I need a battery. The owner Eric had the car for 2months before giving me a diagnostic. Says he didnt have a rack available to look at the car. when he did get me in he gave a price of $1200 to rebuild the gear shift and $2400 for the ABC issue(says it was the block body) and $336 for the battery. $336 for a battery Really! I decided that this was way to much money to put into this car and asked Eric to give me price on the diagnostic. He came back w/$300 for the diagnostic what a RIP OFF! After i pleaded with him on the cost of the battery and the diagnostic he let me get out of there for a total of $600. Really $600 for a battery and diagnostic!! and to top it off when i got the car back it was making a sound that it was not there b4 and now the back driver window want go all the way up. I took the car to Motor City Euro at 7420 Harwin Dr. and the owner Cash was able to fix the gearshift problem and clear all the codes so the ABC issue was temp fix allowing me to drive the car. Cash charged me a total of $600. and im back riding my benz. NO Thanks to Eurocar-Werk!!

Based on the reviews of this shop, I took my Porsche there for an oil service, to fix reverse lights which were not working and to change the transmission fluid. I told them that the reverse light switch was faulty (common on these cars) and to replace it. The part costs less than $10 and usually takes a few minutes to replace if the car is on a lift. They charged me almost $200 to "troubleshoot and diagnose" the issue which I already told them was there. On top of that, the part was sold to me for $42. If they had called me to let me know what the costs would be before doing the work, I would have told them to not do it. However, it was only brought to my attention at check out, which is not a good way to do business. On top of this, ever since I got my car back, it leaks a little transmission fluid every now and then. Seems it was overfilled.

I have nothing but praises for this place... Eric is one super cool and a great owner to work with. I had my Audi R8 involved in some water damage during the floods on Memorial Day in Houston, and given the amount of cars and work shops had, it took forever for shops to look at my car as only specialized techs can work on R8s. After jumping through hoops with another shop and my insurance company I took it to Eric. (his shop is on the way to my office so I knew of the place) I was suprised with how well and cool the staff were. Story short, Eric had my car diagnosed, and done in a few days. After waiting for 2 months, that was a great feeling. I have a new R8 being delivered soon, and youll be sure to know that it will now be serviced at Eurocar next. Great staff, and friendly service. these guys really know their cars, and it shows.

Would not use these guys again, they charged a diagnostic fee when it was obvious what was wrong, ( a broken ignition) the service writer also said brake pads/rotors were bad and when I asked how they knew because I had the wheel locks and they could not have gotten any wheels off he replied the mechanic had been able to get the wheels off because he had other wheel locks. I told them to replace them and two days later I got a phone call from the service writer saying that they really needed the wheel locks to get to my brakes!!! Told him to figure my bill out and call me with the number. When I went to pick the car up the bill was higher than what he had told me two hours prior. Too many lies and I will find another shop to do my brakes!!!

Overall, I am very pleased with the service. I had a 60k service plus brakes done on a 996tt. The quality and timeliness of the work was excellent, and the car was delivered freshly washed and detailed (a nice touch). Eric is very knowledgable on Porsches and worked with me on some specifics specd by my tuner. The only minor issue was that they forgot to call me with the estimate before doing work (they were squeezing me in though). That said after reviewing my bill, all pricing for parts and labor was reasonable and within expectations. There was nothing I didnt ask them to do. One thing I really liked was that the "shop car" they use to shuttle you is a sweet little 964. I will use them again.

Best work on a Porsche Ive ever had done. I have a 2012 Carrera Black Edition (last of the 997.2s), my third Porsche. I went to Eric for advice about a little tighter throttle response, a little more power, throatier exhaust. He made recommendations that made sense to me; I authorized the work. Before, I had been missing my 2007 GT3 RS, but no more! The various upgrades changed the car into exactly what I wanted. The work was first rate, the cost extremely reasonable, particularly compared to previous work Ive had done in Dallas and the Bay area, California. Eric is a genuine enthusiast. Ill say it again: Best work on a Porsche Ive ever had done.

Took my Cayman S to Eurocar to replace the tires. They made the entire process easy including appointment, pick-up and drop-off, along with attentive service. After indifferent dealership service its refreshing to be around car guys who are as enthusastic about your baby as you are. The price was fair but it was the service that will make me come back. Minor gripe, when I picked up the car the tire pressure on the rear tires was low. Its likely they were filled hot and then when they cooled pressure was below the recommended setting. Seems like a obvious mistake to make but they quickly fixed it.
