NEVER NEVER NEVER go here!! Ill explain how these folks con people, for the benefit of the larger community. Accident took place Saturday, March 11. Car towed to Expro the same day. I was told by Giovanni I would get an estimate by Tuesday/ Wednesday. Tuesday passed, Wednesday passed. When I didnt hear from them by Friday, I called them. I was told by Giovanni I would get a call from them by the next day (Saturday), because the person who needed to speak with me was out. Saturday - no call. I called them again. They gave me an outrageous estimate, double what it would have cost. I know this because Ive had work done on the car before. I said no thanks. I asked if they would buy the car. Amber told me I would need to speak with Giovanni about that when hes back in the office on Monday. Another day wasted. Monday - no call from Giovanni. I called them again. Giovanni said hell find out what they can offer, by end of day. Didnt call me back. Fast forward another 1.5 weeks. I get a call on 03/28, Tuesday, 9 days after my call with Giovanni. No voicemail left, so no idea that Expro called. (I was later told they left a voicemail, they lied). Wednesday, 03/29 - I take a day off from work, and go to Expro. I politely let them know I wasnt interested in any further dealing with them, and wanted my car back. Mike, the manager shows up to let me know theyll buy the car for $200 (9 days after my call with Giovanni). I say no thanks. Giovanni then tries to explain how they priced the repairs well, and that I should reconsider getting it fixed. I say Im not interested, and have found another body shop to take my car to. After about 45 minutes of waiting (I can see them sitting around, they are not busy, although I have told them I needed to get back to work, they make me wait), I receive a bill for $1249: $209 towing $100 transfer fee $250 administrative fee $630 storage fee + tax. I politely explain to Giovanni that I shouldnt have to pay $630 for storage since the car was at Expro for 18 days because of their laziness. And this, folks, is how the scam works: delay all communication with the customer as much as possible in order to make a huge amount on storage fees. The longer they can hold your car (by not calling you), the more they make. That, or rip you off on the repair costs. After a painful conversation, he agrees to take $249 off. I can tell hes feeling guilty now. I let him know I want more taken off the storage fee since their failure to call me should not become my problem. Giovanni says thats as much as hes authorized to discount, and that I would need to speak with Mike, the manager. Have to admit, Mike is smooth. Hell pay attention to you, as if he cares, and then suddenly walk away or take a phone call, or start speaking with someone else as if there are more important things to do. Classic con-man behavior. After standing there at the cashiers desk for another hour or so, I lose my cool, and clearly let Mike know I need to get back to work, and need to him to focus on me. He says I can pay the bill, and leave, there would be no change to the storage fee. He also mentions that I should have called Expro, and not have expected them to call me, in order to avoid the storage fees. At this point, hes smiling. Ive had enough and the tow truck from the other body shop has been waiting for 45 minutes. When I pull out my credit card, I am told all payments need to be made in cash. $1000 cash. I am dazed. So another con: tax evasion. Who doesnt accept cards for such a large payment? Perhaps they extend their storage fees this way: if you dont have cash, they keep the car longer, and storage fee goes up. Lovely. I go to the bank, withdraw money, and am back in 30 minutes. Finally, I can smell freedom. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont go here. If youve had an accident, try Leos body shop on Westheimer and Fondren. Super happy I met them.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I would definitely never recommend these crooks to anybody. The very first time I had an accident, they did a good job. So when I had a wreck recently I figured I would use them again. BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE! They always put you on hold for long periods of time, Im guessing hoping that you hang up not sure. So I took my truck and they told me it would only take 4-6 weeks tops due to the type of insurance the other driver had. I had no problem with that because I thought my truck was in good hand. First, the rental car they had giving me had broke down 3 weeks during this process at midnight when I had just come off a double shift. I paid for a wrecker to tow the vehicle. That cost $80 out of my pocket for a vehicle which apparently they knew had been having engine problems. They never reimbursed me even with a receipt from the wrecker. He called the wrecker and the tow truck driver confirmed the location and vehicle type he had towed and even said that those people are crooks to just pay me. When I called about my truck later to see if they were done with my truck after that first problem, Geovanny Rubio , had said the truck was done but somebody hit my truck and they had to order my headlights again since they were after market headlights. I was like this is a joke, right? I was patient enough and said fine. When I went about 4 days later to pick up my truck someone there had "replaced" all my tail lights and 3rd brake light was removed and replaced with stock parts. I was mad , but stayed calm and told Geovanny "I dont care who stole them or where they are at I just want my stuff back". That was all after market and cost over $400 out of my pocket. Dude looked at me crazy and kept trying to convince me that the lights on my truck were mine and that nobody had stolen anything. Needless to stay I had proof of all my purchases on my truck. Then after about 3 trips to this place I finally had them pay for what they STOLE. After wasting my time, aggravating me , headaches and just a bunch of crap that would come out of there mouths. Oh and one of the other managers had said "I dont know how they took your lights, maybe someone got on our lot and removed your lights". I was like "Your kidding me right? Out of all the things on this lot they would only steal my lights, nope one of yall thieves robbed me and thought yall would get away with it". And the job was still half a** done.

Considering I had just severely wrecked my 2014 Hyundai and walked away from the accident without a scratch, bruise or any other physical harm my mind & emotions were swirling. Upon arriving at the Collision Center I was promptly greeted by one of the Owner/Mgrs, Giovanni Rubio. He was sincere, pleasant & genuinely concern about helping me get back on track, in a rental and confident that they would coordinate with my insurance provider to handle all of the details. Giovanni was full of pertinent information, facts and a clear understanding of what each step, moving forward, would entail. He did an excellent job of helping me calm down, gather my thoughts and competently deal with the situation at hand. He stayed with me until I got my rental from their Concierge Auto Rental dept. As I was removing my personal belongings from my wrecked vehicle another Owner/Mgr made it a point to find me, introduce himself and ask me if I was doing okay, if I needed to go to the Emergency room and to tell me not to hesitate to contact them if I had any questions moving forward. Each time Ive returned to handle business Giovanni & his staff have been available, pleasant, understanding, extremely knowledgeable and happy to take the time to assist me. I dont ever want to be in another accident, but if it does happen while I live anywhere near Houston I will have my vehicle towed to Expro Auto Collision & Repari Center without any hesitation whatsoever. This was the BEST customer service Ive recd during the 14 yrs Ive resided in the Houston Metropolitan area. Incredible!!!
