I brought my Porsche Carrera to iCar about six weeks ago to have them straighten out the frame after an accident. iCar kept the vehicle for about two weeks before they contacted me to tell me that they had a break-in and that thieves had stolen many of the keys, including mine. Jesse assured me that he was going to have another copy of the key made. After about a month of listening to Jesse tell me that he was having someone come out and make a key this week, or the police have the keys and they need them for evidence, or he is waiting for the insurance company to pay for the key, I finally decided that enough was enough. I visited iCar and Jesse one last time and told them that I was going to go to tow my car to the Porsche dealership and have a key made for $500. I asked Jesse how he was going to reimburse me for this. At last, I got a straight answer from this guy. Jesse told me that they werent responsible for replacing the key and that iCar wasnt going to pay for it. As if this wasnt bad enough, the frame work that iCar did on my car was not properly done. There is a visible gap where the door opens and where the hood opens. The money that I paid for the framework was a complete waste and I will need to find another frame shop to do iCars unfinished work. I intend on filing a claim in small claims court against iCar to recover some of my lost damages, including the cost of the key, the cost of towing my car to the Porsche dealership to have the key programmed, and the cost of the poor framework that iCar provided. iCar should consider changing their name to iCant. And if you are thinking about using iCar for any service yourself, think to yourself iShouldnt. You would be much better off randomly picking another place to have your work done, than to deal with an organization that is so blatantly unethical and incompetent.

Since you cant give someone zero stars and actually give a review, Im giving only one. But frankly Id prefer to give none. April of 2015 my father, 76 years old, took his gorgeous 1960 Ford Thunderbird for a complete and total restoration, minus the engine; so they agreed to body/paint/interior/electrical, etc. Jesse, the owner of Icar promised my father 4 (FOUR) months to complete. Well today is October 30, 2016 and he just got the car back yesterday. And hes not at all happy. What little was done had to be redone since it had scratches. He had to have it towed to an electrician to have the electrical done since Icar couldnt do it, yet charged him for it. Some things just werent done at all. This job cost SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS, yet done poorly in EIGHTEEN MONTHS! Then he gets home, tries to drive it today to find out the gas gage is broken and though he took it in with a full tank of gas it was empty. Where the hell were they driving it that it ran out of gas? They did move in that time to a new location but it was truly about 7 miles away, not a full tank worth of mileage. So, just be warned, unless your insurance is paying, and not allowing you to choose and you dont care about quality or time, dont use them. I even called them myself several weeks ago to explain to the owners wife that when my father said he wanted my husband and I to meet Jesse because he feared hed die before the car was completed. He wasnt joking. Hes in stage 3 kidney failure. But did they care and get it finished, nope. Truly some of the worst service Ive ever experienced. Good luck folks!

The worst experience ever. Horrible customer service, they dont care Jessie makes every excuse that something happened or hes too busy. From a distance the paint looks good but up close theres runs and the one of the pieces of the 3 piece wing is crooked. never finished the job after taking my money. Said it would take less than 2 weeks originally but took almost 6 weeks there and several more off site to try and finish what he didnt do. And still never finished. Went on vacation and didnt even say hed finish when he got back or give status of the car. Broke a piece on my car and said hed pay half because it had non-visible hair line crack already but after it was smashed on both sides. Finally paid for it. Delay after delay and too many broken promises. "Car will be ready tomorrow" but then next day, "oh painter got sick, but will be ready tomorrow its going in the booth tonight" then next day "oh going good your car will be in the booth tomorrow" so what happened to last night??? Constantly went like this for a month and a half and was so stressed out. Definitely never going there again. I wont even let them do the detailing that he never did when I finally got the car back. Dont want them to ever touch it again. Have to take it somewhere else and pay again to have someone fix the wing right and the runs in the paint as well. Go there at your own risk.......

Update: 05/14/2016- I just wanted to take the time to update my previous review. My car had a hydro-locked motor because of the April flooding and I took it to iCar to get repaired. I picked up my car today and was extremely happy with everything. Jesse had my car detailed and it really looked like a new car. I cant express how happy I was with the turn around time and the service. Thank you so much for taking car of my car and going the extra mile :) This place is awesome. I live in Pearland and have my cars towed to iCar when we need to get work done. Its more than worth the tow fees. They communicate everything you need to have done and get the work done super fast. I have piece of mind knowing Im not being lied to or taken advantage of and paying for work or parts I dont need. I would recommend ICAR to any women that are Leary of mechanics or feeling lost as to where to go for fear of being lied to. They have great pricing as well.

I came to jessie after getting in a head on collision with another driver in 2014, Concerned that they would not be able to give me a good quote for the repairs needed to repair my car. Not only did they give me a great price for the work needed to get my car put together again, but they really treat you like family when you walk into their lot. He was extremly professional and with my car having old pop-up headlights (which are a pain in the butt to repair and most places charge you an arm and a leg to re align) he still managed to get my car looking great, anytime i have a collision issue i will surely call him and nobody else. Which is why i refer all my friends and family to do business with him. Keep it up man!

Poor customer service... Brought my car to get repaired and would not recommend at all. They are friendly at the beginning just to get your business.They took over a month to fix my car and never received a phone call to let me know of delays, receptionist is very rude, would not honor coupon they have on their website, they took my wifes headphones from the car , Abigail would not return my calls, they were supposed to call back to replace windshield and never heard from them. I highly recommend taking your car somewhere else!!!!.....
