First visit was okay, the owner and his wife seemed like nice honest people. I got my oil change and they suggested a coolant flush. I had 82,000 miles on my ford, the manual recommends at 105,000 miles. I told them I would consider it and get back to them. It had been bothering me so the next time I went back for an oil change I told them to go ahead and do the coolant flush. This time the owner was not there it was a guy named Robert. He came to me after the oil change and said they would not do the coolant flush because I had a leak. He showed it to me and yes there was a small leak from the temperature sensor. I asked how much to repai and he told me that I needed a new thermostat housing unit and the elbow hose is only 7 dollars and possibly a new temperature sensor, so $170 for parts $100 for labor and another $100 because they still have to flush after repair. I told them I would get back to them and I could clearly see the leak was only coming from the temperature sensor, but it was still reading temperature okay. A quick google searched suggested that the o-ring may be bad. A .50 cent part that was given to me by a nice guy at ORiellys. It took 2 minutes and the leak stopped. I am far from a mechanic but it was a simple and literally cost next no nothing. These people are crooks and will sell you parts you dont need. I regret coming back here and will not be coming back.

I have gone to this location for years and really liked the service. However, the last visit was my last. After spending over $1,300 on fixing my air conditioner, I went back 2 months later due to bad odor coming in the cabin and failure to cool properly. As usual the staff was enthusiastic to help. However, the diagnostic was a shocker! They told me I needed to fix my cooling fan. From the little research I had done on cars cooling system, the fan was not listed. So, for the first time I told them I would return later. I meant to go get a second opinion. However to my surprise, when I left the shop my AC was running better than it did when they initially repaired it. I recalled one of the mechanics mentioning I might just have a loose hose. I felt betrayed and exploited and lost trust in the shop. Why lie to a long-term customer????? Just fix the problem and do not recommend unnecessary services. It has been months since that last visit. My AC has been running great, no dust/odor blowing in the cabin and my fan is not broken. I still find it difficult to believe I almost got ripped by my very trusted and beloved mechanic shop. Being a lady, it makes me wonder..............how often were unnecessary services recommended during all those years I trusted them? Very sad indeed. It takes forever to establish trust and not much to destroy it

This place is wonderful! I am SUPER weary about mechanic shops - have always gone to my BILs shop or family friends who weve known forever. But my car was freaking out on me with lights and such, so I needed to go somewhere close to my office. I had stopped somewhere else on my way to this place and was totally trying to get ripped off. So I came here already weary if I could trust it. This place was GREAT! The two working there, Jacklyn, and forgive me but I forgot the new managers name, were so NICE and the mechanic there, I do not remember his name either was SO HONEST and helpful. They could have told me everything under the sun was wrong with my car and I would have believed it because I knew something was going on with it. But they didnt. It just needed oil and they did an engine flush maybe and added something else. $73! I was prepared to drop at least $1,000 so I was THRILLED to get this bill. I will ALWAYS refer this place to anyone and I will start going here from now on when I need something close to work. I am so glad to find this place. While I was in there, several "regular" customers popped in just to say Happy Holidays and others came in and they knew their names right off the bat. So, those were some added brownie points that I could tell they had some loyal customers who trusted them as well.

Definitely would refer anyone here. A friend from work referred me to this Midas and I absolutely LOVE this place! Eric and Jackie are amazing. They make me feel so welcomed when I come in. The last place I went to doesnt come close to the excellent quality and great service they provide. The last place left grease stains on the interior of my car and even broke part of the dashboard. When I get my car back from Eric and Jackie, I know that it will be in good condition. They explain thoroughly whats going on with my car and even show me what theyre talking about so I understand better since Im a visual person. When I had a HUGE job that needed to be done when I was still in school, working part time, and strapped for cash, they worked with me to help me get my car running again. That showed me how much they really do care for their customers because they didnt have to help me as much as they did and I greatly appreciate them for it. Now, I wont take my car to anyone else and that says a lot because I live about 20 minutes from them, in Houston thats about 45 minutes and I pass about a dozen car repair places on my way. I just cant say enough great things about these guys. God bless them!

This location is full of very professional people and they work very hard to help you out. I was getting ready to leave for Austin to pick up a groomsman for my wedding (he was flying in from New England) and I noticed my window was down a little bit. I tried to roll it up, heard a noise, and watched the window slide down. We were (and did) going to get heavy rain where we were going, but I had very little time for something like this. I called up this location and explained my situation and they were able to lock my window in position, and it held throughout the entire wedding weekend. They did this within about 30 minutes and got me back on the road in time to pick up my groomsman. When I returned to get the window fully fixed, they were able to get me in and had the window motor fixed within a half hour or so. I appreciated how professional they were and they took what would have been a very hectic and stressful event to kick off my wedding weekend and made it a non-issue. And during the time I was waiting, I saw them treating the other customers with just as much care and respect as they were giving me. I highly recommend this location.

I’d met Eric on a previous visit and I thought the work well and price reasonable so I returned with another vehicle. This vehicle being different and requiring a bit more work was not as reasonable as was on my first visit. They put it on the dialogistic machine, (which he said he’d reimburse half if they did the work), to determine what was wrong with the vehicle. The repair wasn’t as bad as I’d thought; but, they kept it two days to…..CHANGE A BELT! The labor cost was extremely high, (compared to dealer), and not as quick, (as the dealer). To top it off….I was about to pay when examined my bill and noticed he didn’t credit the dialogistic charge. I HAD TO ASK FOR THE CREDIT…that he promised to give. The other issue… was I need a PVC valve and he didn’t change it instead requiring me change powering steering pump and throwing in the PVC as well. It would seem to me you had the vehicle for 2 days and as accessible as the PVC was you should just done it and included it with first repair instead of using it as a carrot to get additional repair work. I call that…….NICKLE AND DIMING the customer. I dont plan to bring my third vehicle there!
