If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Avoid this place at all costs. You will surely regret doing business here. This morning I shipped out merchandise to a customer in Finland. I have shipped many times so I know how this works for the most part. I got my parcel packed and marked and noticed there were 2 different customs forms so I asked the woman at the counter which form I needed for a shipment going to Finland. She said the small one, so I filled it out and waited my turn in line. I went to pay as usual and then she said "I hope it doesnt mean the big one." I asked her if she was referring to the other customs form and she said, "Yeah, it needs the other one. Are you shipping out of the country?" At this point Im pretty frustrated as I am running late and this was already taking longer than it should have. As I was paying, she will still trying to decide what form it needed despite what she read on her computer screen, so I got the larger form and started filling it out as I waited on her. She never clarified so asked her if it needed the larger form or not because I was in a rush. She then said I needed to finish filling the form out. By this time I had already paid and my receipt was in her hand so I reached for it. Then she said "No, Ill give it to you when youre done with that" then set it aside on the counter behind her. I finished my form, handed it to her and she stamped it. She gave me my copy and I was waiting for my receipt so she said "thats all" so I asked "oh is this number (on the customs form) my tracking?" She said "no, only registered mail has tracking." I was livid because Id already told her three times I needed tracking. Not to mention I paid $42.75 to have it shipped so I was expecting tracking. Then she tried to cover herself saying "well tracking slows it down; it moves faster without it." Remember, this customer is in Finland and specifically requested tracking. Needless to say I didnt get a tracking number or receipt so I will be back tomorrow morning to straighten this mess out with a supervisor.

Where to begin: After recently moving to the area, I began to go to this post office to check for our forwarded mail and ask about our keys to to the community mailbox. Many times I was told our keys were not ready without the clerk going to look for the keys. All of December, when I would go and ask about our mail, we had none. None. Not one bit of spam mail or anything. Was supposed to receive two packages, both of which were stated as delivered, but nothing was there. Tried calling on several occasions for hours at a time, phone was either busy or would ring until it hung itself up. When I asked about our keys, received the same answer - not ready. Finally on Christmas Eve, we returned home to find a HUGE stack of mail on our front porch, including the two packages! Furious, I went to the post office to ask how something like this could happen. Well, what happened?! Our keys had been ready for a month and our mail was stacking up inside our mailbox! So, when it no longer fit, they put it on our front porch. Each clerk I spoke with for the month of December was not even looking in the correct place for the keys. Clerks were very rude and passive aggressive each and every time I went into that post office. I hope I never have to deal with them again, only when absolutely necessary. I feel sorry for each new resident that has to deal with this place.

I thought sending a simple cardboard box of books to my friend will be simple. Wrong! I was first told by attendant 1 that I need to buy their clear packaging tape since my duct tape wont work. After I did that, attendant 2 told me that I have to buy their brown packaging tape. I bought the second one. After I have done that, attendant 3 told me that I need to buy a marker since they dont print shipping addresses. When I asked Crystal, the attendant 3 I talked to, why they had me do this three times instead of just telling me once and making me buy two types of tapes, she told me that its my responsibility as a customer to know all this before I came into the post office. Shes not responsible for telling me everything. I ended up waiting to talk to the supervisor. I told him that its very annoying to repeat waiting in line 3 times and having to spend extra money buying tape twice. He told me that I didnt have to wait in line 3 times in a row. None of the attendants cared to inform me that I could have just done the packaging and came back to talk to them without stepping to the back of the line three times. The only redeeming factor is that I did not have to buy a marker to write the shipping address. He was kind enough to let me use that to write the shipping addresses. Next time, Im going to stick with UPS or FedEx.

Again...another office full of lazy workers. I have been looking and needing to get a passport for a week now. I call and call into the number thye gave me to make an "appointment" no one answers. I have left plenty of voicemails after staying on hold for 30 mins. I go into this post office and a sign reads they only accept passport apps between 9 and 3 pm. The next day I go in and they have a sign up that reads "Sorry passport apps are only being accepted at 12 today" I go in to talk to a lady in the office and kindly ask her when will be the best time to come anyday for a passport. She rolls her eyes because she was showing her coworker/friend a picture on her instagram and I was interrupting her, smacks her lips and says "Maam IDK!, Come back at 12!" I called earlier in the morning around 8 to see if I needed an appointment, no one answered. If they answered their phones maybe they could of mentioned they wouldnt be doing passports for 4 hours after I planned on going in. This is a problem with all postal workers. The office on Little York is horrible. My mail man is horrible. I will receive a cut off notice for my electric then a week later receive the bill. I have put mail into my mailbox with a "postage prepaid" just for the idiot to put it back in my mailbox because he didnt see a stamp.

They are always losing the mail here in DeerBrook Estates, even BIG packages get lost, theres no reason a package should be getting lost. Im starting to suspect the mail couriers are theifs, either that or they are simply lazy good for not even reading simple regular English!! They even LEAVE packages WITH THE KEY IN THE LOCKER FOR ANYINE TO STEAL IF THEY WANTED TO!! Our identities are at stake!! Important mail list and never recovered by the righteous owner should never happen!! Theyre in a rush to sit on their assess is what it is too so who gives a damn its not their mail right?! This now calls for a criminal investigation, we can no longer take this and stand by,, this is going to be brought up in our community meeting we will be taking corporate action! We are fed up!! Then people wonder why they lose their jobs, well hey we dont need this good for nothing post office!! It gives less than acceptable services, the people cant even be distinguished as postal employees, and they care less about the customer, not to mention they are CONSTANTLY losing packages and mail!!!! Shut this place down! Build another somewhere else, these people here dont value their jobs! Obviously they dont need it! Would give negative 1000 stars if I could.
