We live in the holy city in the southeast part by the bridge to Atascocita. We are blessed to have "Chris" as our mailman. Professional. Knows his customers by name. Personable, punctual. Delivers daily at 12:30 at our apartment complex, on time to where you can set your watch by his delivery timing. If he is off, good luck getting mail by 6:00, if you get it all. Track something? If Chris is not working, you have to go to the post office in person. You stand in line waiting for someone to come to the door. When they do, you are there waiting 20 minutes minimum. Totally worthless people working there... Back to Chris who is white. I personally wrote the postmaster at Kingwood post office (black lady) to compliment him. Chris never heard a word about it, nor was there any recognition at the Kingwood post office. I asked. Dont want to be labeled as a racist, but take what I am saying for what it is worth as far as management is concerned. The biggest collection of lazy, apathetic losers around top to bottom. Did I mention Christmas time? Absolutely the worst service in the country. Go in with a package, a minimum of 2 hours wait. This place is a microcosm of the failure of the U.S. government. Give pathetic service, and get a raise... Want to save some money? Fire the entire staff with the exception of Chris, and flatten the place!!! Ooops, you cant: Postal Workers Union... Sorry there was not a column for 0 Stars...

New carrier refuse to stop vehicle and walk 3 foot to my mail box. Has been discourteous to My Family telling us we would have to move our mail box. To Lazy to get out of vehicle is more like it. Complains car blocking mail box so wont deliver. Call in to Mr Williams who says that it is there contract that they dont have to stop and walk 3 feet to a mail box. Also says that they dont get money from the government They only get 18billion a year and 2 billion in tax breaks . I just want to inform you if you have cars in front of your house they wont deliver and if you live near a community pool you may not get your mail when open (car park on street in front of houses) Meanwhile many postal carriers walk with bags of mail .In heat and Snow. Driving and Stopping to inconvient . I will know go paperless as much as possible pay for a po box so you lazy carrier does not have to stop. 44 years mailbox same spot previous carrier no problems. LAZY. LAZY LAZY.

Terrible service here. In the past two weeks, they have managed to lose two of my outgoing packages. Most recently, I dropped off a prepaid return and handed it to a man named Williams at their customer service door (I was already talking to him about my first package from the previous week that had been lost). He assured me he would take care of it and it would be put in their outgoing mail. A week later, and there is no scan or movement of this package. Williams never even scanned it as "accepted" so now when I go to the post office to find out what happened to my package they are telling me they never received it. Im sure its just sitting up there somewhere thrown in a corner or something, but they refuse to even look since "they never had it in the first place." Im now out my $300 return. Both of my packages had tracking with them...not sure the point of tracking if they cant find out what happened to the boxes in the first place...

I have probably lost months of my life from my blood pressure spiking because of this place... They have threatened me by paper, handwritten messages, & verbally about someone being parked in front of my mailbox. I DO NOT CONTROL WHO PARKS IN FRONT OF MY HOME, IT IS A PUBLIC ROAD! Mind blowing that just simply delivering the mail is too hard, but mindlessly threatening me is too easy.. I give them 5 stars for the following: Regularly delivering other peoples mail to my house, being rude, making threats, refusing to deliver mail, leaving my mail box open, delivering mail inconsistently, being untimely, being rude, being unfriendly, being unprofessional, being LAZY, & losing things. Did I mention they are rude & make threats that I will quote "be picking my mail up at the post office if people dont stop blocking the mail box." 8 years of this h*%+......

The people who work here including the manager are out of control rude. You never wait less than 20 minutes. I have had multiple pieces of mail lost or just not delivered. I had a letter with check inside go missing and the manager told me its because the person sending it placed the wrong address on it. Then I was told the usual delivery guy was on vacation and he must have "hid it somewhere in the back." When I asked why he would hide mail that is not his I was given just a blank stare. I then asked if they could call him to find out where is was and I was told I was being ridiculous for asking them to call him on his day off, even though he was hiding my mail. I now have a package that was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago and is nowhere to be found. If you can avoid using this post office do it! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

Worst service ever! Always horribly treated! Someone sent me a Certified letter. The carrier said he attempted delivery, lies I was in the front yard gardening, no attempt made. Went to the office 4 days in a row, they not only cant find it, but they laugh and have an attitude and close the window in the door while youre trying to talk to them. They refused to give me anything stating they lost, misplaced the letter and took my # 3 times saying they would call, no call either. The manager was in a meeting for the over 2 hours that I waited too. BS! They were laughing and cutting up so loud you could hear them through the closed door. Now the tracking system says that its in route from 77316 zip code since the 23rd?! Still no letter! Worst post office ever! Crappy attitudes and lazy people that shouldnt hold the jobs!

I mailed a priority mail envelope from Austin to Kingwood on Tuesday June 2nd. Today is now Tuesday June 9th and the envelope has still not arrived. I have tried calling and if it is not busy, no one answers. I very rarely use USPS and it is reasons like this that make me shy away from them even more. It should not take a week to get anywhere with priority mail. As of today it says it has arrived at the post office, yet on June 6th it was out for delivery....how difficult is it to scan and push a button with the correct description. I called the main customer service and cant get anyone there either, all I get is a recording to tell me to check updates. USPS is horrible and even more horrible is Kingwood USPS office.

When you try to call, the phone is either busy signal or rings and rings - no answer. If you go INTO the post office and wait in the LONG line, theyre surly and act like you are an idiot. The grounds arent maintained... weeds and garbage all over. Recently, I purchased postage online but brought the box in to mail (too big to put in the mail drop). The postal worker tried to argue that I didnt pay enough postage. I showed him the printout with the correct weight and measurements along with the amount of postage I paid. Then he back-peddaled and realized he was wrong. The inside of the building is unkempt and they never restock the supplies. Terrible. Wasnt always this way.
