I have been a paying member since this location opened. I have tried to have this facility credit my fiancees membership which she cancelled in Sept 09. The membership continually got billed until its termination in Dec after I raised another visit to stop billing my card. Have I gotten a call from their supposed money manager to correct this. I have not. I just got off the phone with their manager Don, who has given me the run around for almost a year. Their money manager David, has also refused to call me. I am now persuing communication with LA Corporate. Not sure that will be any better if their management team is the same... As a side note. If you are a member there, DO NOT park your car on the south side of the building...apparently having your cars broken into is a common occurance, and getting security out there is not a top priority either. I was told that corporate cannot justify the additional expense. I have had my membership suspended and paying only $10 per month since surgery in April. Wish at this point I would have just cancelled it and saved the money. Probably going to cancel now if I do not get a satisfactory resolution, and go to another fitness facility... Such is life. Customer service is poor at best. They can take your money, get your billing set up in a moment, but trying to take care of anyone does not seem to be a top priority.

Totally rude and unprofessional. I stopped by to check the gyms prices and facilities. I was shown around by Steve, who started to talk negatively about their competitors. He said that their competitors were in huge debt, etc.. Then after he told me their prices for a membership, I said Id have to talk to my girlfriend about it as we both would like to join the same gym. He told me I should sign up, then tell her I did so she would have to join this gym. He wouldnt let me go without offering lower prices. Then when I persisted that I would have to think about it, he told me he couldnt understand people like me, and if I came back be prepared to pay more money. Then I told him that what he said wasnt going to help him sell the membership, he said he didnt care. He didnt need me. At one point he said if I signed today he would pay $20 of the fee. I said no, that he was here to make money. But, he made sure I knew he would be making plenty off my membership. I couldnt believe how rude he got. He berated me because I wouldnt sign up right then. I left not wanting to be a member of LA Fitness. Ever!

LA Fitness incorporates the old "automatic renewal clause" ripoff in very fine print within the contract one signs for for a trainer. Just prior to the end of my one year contract, I went to the gym and asked if there was an automatic renewal clause and was assured that there was not, that my contract would expire and the final payment had been deducted from my checking account. I foolishly took them at their word and did not check my bank statements until tax time in April. By then they had deducted a total of $450 which they refused to reimburse but they did offer to let me use the training sessions I had accumulated. Evidently the verbal representation of their employees to their customers is not their bond. Rest assured that I will be attending every single one session wearing a t-shirt that reads, "ASK ME HOW LA FITNESS RIPPED ME OFF FOR $450." "LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!"

The Lead Janitor in The Morning Is Very Disrespectful to his other workers. He is rude to the other female worker that works in the morning with him and also to the evening janitors. Ever since this new Janitor that works in the morning arrived at LA Fitness all ive seen him do is yell at his workers and does not treat them with the respect they deserve. Hes the reason why many customers do not go work out in the mornings, just to avoid him. Me and My Friends love to work out in the evening because both the evening janitors are nice, sweet, and respectful. They keep our bathrooms clean and shiny. The only flaw is that my brother works out in the morning and he always says that the male locker room is not clean. It always stinks and its never clean. I guess the morning Janitor doesnt do his job. Other than that the gym is amazing and the trainers are very nice and helpful.

Went in with a 3 day guest pass to test out the gym since i am new to the area, I had 1 hr before they closed so I figured that I would have plenty of time to check everything out and get a good workout in. When I tried to check in they called over a sales person saying he had to "verify" my free pass(really try to sell me before I workout). Not that I was to surprised about this but I was surprised that I told him I would come back tomorrow and talk with him because they close in one hour and I didnt want to spend the whole time talking with him while I wanted to work out. And he really told me he couldnt let me work out without going through his sales pitch, put a really sour taste in my mouth so I told him Ill just go work out at 24 hr fitness and he just replied ok. Seriously need to work on your initial approach to walk in leads LA fitness horrible job.

I have always liked my experiences, expect for some basketballs being in horrible condition (But I bring my own, always have). The Basketball court has been redone, and the sauna is working fine now. The mean fat lady that was working there was fired, and was replaced by a nice, hot latina. To keep your stuff from being stolen, here is what I do. 1. Buy a key lock or combination lock 2. Put you stuff into the locker and lock it 3. Tie key around you neck with yarn or write combination and hide behind a spot only you will find. Simple as that, Dont trust anyone. Most of the staff are quite friendly, and even help you if they are busy with something. Maybe the other people had bad experiences, because the gym had just opened and they hadnt got everything situatied. Honeslty, I dont have any complaints.

Have been going to this gym since the day it opened up. All the machines are perfectly spaced out unlike other gyms where you have to walk through people doing sets just to get a drink of water. The staff is great, they are young guys, but they are very knowledgeable and you easily get along with them. Not too crowded most of the time, only around 5-7 it is crowded. after that pretty much you can get your workout done with ease. The equipment is also kept very clean, and doesnt have that rusted old metal smell, that usually makes people like me sick. This gym pretty much has it all the ONLY thing it is missing, which is not even really a necessity it would just be more convenient if it had wifi to connect to pandora or other radios while your working out.

The commissioned sales staff are killing this place. If you dont sign up immediately, theyll start texting you- without permission. Both my friend and I have had the high-pressure calls (several a day) and now the texts and we would have actually considered signing up and going to classes together had it not been for the way the staff hound you nonstop. Save yourself the trouble and join the Y.
