I had S.Hatcher P&D out to my home a couple of weeks ago. My tardiness in submitting review is NOT an indication of lack of satisfaction or enthusiasm, just VERY busy. Im currently in process of a complete renovation on an older home. The master bedroom bathroom was VERY outdated up to and including plumbing. In process of building a custom vanity I had to break down sink pipes and drain to the ruff out point. As is the case many times the old copper drain line crimped and split on me. I needed someone to clean up and add on complete new drain with trap that could get job done quickly and properly with no hassles. Id heard good things about Hatcher plumbing and gave em a ring. They were out same day and had job finished PROPERLY in under 15 minutes. The rates were reasonable, the work professional and DAVE my master plumber was efficient, polite and a pleasure to have in my home both professionally and personally. I particularly appreciated his inquiring as to my new sink as viewing this enabled him to install my new drain with the proper diameter Pvc AND route the line to where the sinks NEW drain location would fall. Both of those steps saved me time and hassle later down the road. Thank you DAVE! Ill likely be able to do all the hookups myself now when I get to that point however if for some reason I cannot OR I have any OTHER plumbing needs either now or in future I KNOW who I can call to do the job RIGHT and on BUDGET. Its always nice to have a serviceman/company that is on speed dial when you need them and I ONLY select such people when they have PROVEN themselves and EARNED my trust, confidence and loyalty. Thank you guys. Now if only I could find an auto mechanic that fits that same description!, HaHa!

Steve came out to the house because we were having a back-up issue in our back bathroom. My wife explained the issue ( the plumbing back up was explained and confirmed by two other plumbers that we have had out in the past two years). He attempted to diagnose the issue and concluded something different (a different line, not the main line needed to be routered). Steve told my wife that if the problem happened again then he would come back out and fix it.(implying he stood behind his diagnoses and work) It has been about two weeks and the problem wasnt fixed. He will not come back out and perform the task we had originally asked him to do without re-charging. I wrote this without a ton of plumbing details because he will simply counter this complaint and tell me why we are wrong. At the end of the day, the man was paid to do a job. We explained exactly what we wanted done. He decided to do it his way and the problem still isnt fixed. He is fully aware that his customer is not satisfied and simply will not make it right. When I reminded him that said "if there is still a problem, I will come back out and fix it", he replied: "I never said I would come back out for free!" Has anyone ever said to a paying customer, "If I didnt fix the problem this time, I will come back out here and charge you again to do the work again" !? I dont think so. There are a lot of options out there when it comes to plumbers. I just think the people that read this should know that the man does not stand behind his work. I am fully willing to rescind my negative review if he would only do the right thing and complete the job correctly.

They seem to really seem to rip off the weak. As an 85 year old woman that had saved up enough money to repair some plumbing needs I was told that the charge would be $138 hr. I needed my faucet replaced in the kitchen which I supplied and a garbage disposal replaced which I supplied and A dishwasher I supplied put in where the old one was. The cold water runs very slow only in the kitchen so get that looked at also. After flooding the kitchen and doing these minor installations when the plumber was done the dishwasher did not work the water still ran very slow and the bill was over $700 even though I supplied all the appliances. My dishwasher still does not work and my cold water still just a trickle. It was $275 just to replace faucet on sink and I supplied the faucet. It was $263 to put dishwasher in where old one was and the old one was already pulled out . It was still hooked up but pulled out of the hole to make access easy. It was $138 just to swap out a garbage disposal. #677 just in labor plus some materials to total $719.39. I tried to talk with them but the owner did not see a problem with the bill. Im 85 years old and now do not have the money to repair anything because this company took advantage of the elderly. I had just got out of the hospital where I had spent two months healing from a fall in which I broke 5 ribs and punctured a lung. I live by myself and was just trying to get these repairs done that I really needed. Run from this company , if they can do this to the sick and elderly they have no problem to rip off anyone.

For two months my water bill had tripled. I called my home warranty and they sent a plumber (Not Steve Hatcher). The plumber came out and repaired a leaking toilet. Even after I inquired about a slab leak, the toilet was the problem according to plumber. Last week, my water bill quadrupled! So the same plumber was sent out again but this time he replaced the garbage disposal. I pointed out--there is water on the base boards. He then agreed that I had a slab leak. He gave me an estimate. At this point Im beginning to question his integrity. But what am I to do? Its obvious I have a slab leak and hes talking about jack hammering my kitchen floor. Cabinets had to be removed, etc. etc. So I got 2 additional estimates. One was $1k more and the other one was a little lower. The other two talked about jack hammering the kitchen floor as well. Still not satisfied, so I googled additional plumbers and STEVE HATCHER PLUMBING appeared. I called. Dave of Steve Hatcher came out the next morning. He offered a different solution and he confidently stated "I will be the last plumber you call." We scheduled him the next morning to fix the leak. He fixed my slab leak in less than 2 hours without jack hammering my kitchen floor or tunneling through from the outside. Steve Hatcher saved me $$$$$ and I have already started spreading the word about this company. Dave was right--Steve Hatcher is now my plumber of choice. Thanks guys for a job well done. My hubby and I are well pleased.

I had a good experience with this company once in the past. Recently, I had them come out to inspect what I thought might be a slab leak. After walking around my home for about 20 minutes, the plumber concluded that the leak was too small to locate. His only suggestion was to tunnel under my home about 6 feet. However, there was no guarantee that the tunnel would eventually lead to the leak. He gave me an estimate of around $5,000 for the repairs and tunnel, but the estimate was open ended due to the fact that he didnt know where the leak was to begin with. Seriously? So, after walking around my home for about 20 minutes and giving me an open ended estimate for repairs that may or may not fix my issue, he left and charged me with a $150 service call! Ive had plumbers snake a clean out line for less than that. In fact, I just had a plumber come out to replace a leaking hose bib on the outside of my house. The charge? $121. I emailed Steve expressing my concern about the issue, and I made it abundantly clear that I certainly dont expect plumbers to make house calls for free, but $150 for that? I never received a response. Look around before hiring these guys. There are less expensive alternatives.
