Very accommodating. The entire staff is friendly, and their prices and options on trucks are the best in a 3-county area. I looked from Waco down to Killeen for what I wanted, and I found the perfect truck in McGregor. I researched the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon extensively before finding a dealer. I went to 4 other dealers looking at options and features, but most importantly, I was looking at atmosphere. Ryan was extremely accommodating, and you could tell he really wanted me to get exactly what I wanted in a truck. He gave no pushback, and he didnt try to minimize my "wish list". Two other dealers I visited suggested "maybe I didnt need this", and "most people dont do that". Im the customer, and I need whatever I think I need, and Ryan was spot-on. The options the truck didnt have, he could get. Great attitude when helping people BUY a truck as opposed to selling what you want to SELL. Ryan showed me the closest truck to what I wanted, and he committed to making the rest happen. I said yes to the truck, asked for my additional options and the best price, and then I waited. I waited 2 minutes, and Ryan came back with a great price for everything I wanted. Truly no-haggle, just a great price for a great truck. Win - Win. My buying experience was quick, but not rushed. My husband and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Traverse from John McClaren Chevrolet back in April! Our experience with Jerry Jones (our salesman) was outstanding! We never felt pressured to go beyond our set budget! The entire experience was great! A few months later, our AC slowly stopped working. I drove to the dealership with no appointment or notice, but they still checked out the car that same day. It turned out that there was a leak somewhere so it would be a couple of days before they could get the part in to fix it. They gave as a loaner car and ended up finishing the work on the car a couple days earlier than they had estimated--always a plus to me! And since the car was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, the AC repair didnt cost us anything. The buying experience and service we received was excellent and we most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car!

We were on vacation touring the state of Texas when our car broke down in McGregor, TX. We didnt know what we were going to do. I remembered seeing a Chevrolet dealership a couple of miles from where we were. We had our car towed there and the service department was awesome. Each person we came in contact with greeted us like we were family. We had to leave our car there overnight and had no idea how we were going to get to our hotel in Waco. They set us up in a loaner car for free and sent us on our way. The next day our car was fixed and they made sure they test drove the car prior to releasing it to us. We felt safe and secure as we continued our vacation. I wish this dealership was near my home in Arizona as Id definitely be back and purchase vehicles there. Thank you John McClaren Chevrolet for taking a little bit of stress out of our mishap while on vacation.

We were assisted by Jerry Jones at the dealership in the purchase of our new 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax pickup. He worked to get us the best deal possible on the vehicle and then spent time with us demonstrating the many features of the vehicle to not only include the operational aspects but also the myriad high tech features. We had an issue with an outside rear view mirror and Jerry made sure we were handled by Will in service and the part is on order to correct the issue. We would recommend John McClaren Chevrolet for those seeking an "old fashioned" purchasing experience in a small town atmosphere. We will continue to use the dealer for our service needs as well as to add accessories to our vehicle as the need arises.

When I called, I spoke with Jerry Jones, and he was more than accommodating. He was able to work out most of my deal over the phone, and gave me the best price available for my trade-in. I recently purchased a used car from Josh Reilly and the staff at Jim Turner and they made the process quick, stress free, and very simple. All of the negotiations were over the phone and they had the vehicle ready as promised and at the price agreed upon. Josh was very responsive and low pressure, which is everything you would want in a sales representative. I havent purchased many cars from a dealership and when I have, it has tended to be at a high volume location within a metroplex. Small town dealers have a reputation of being easier to deal with and I found this to be the case in my experience at Jim Turner.

My name is James Lewis and Im a DJ for 94.5 The Beat and I am really enjoying my Texas Edition Silverado. Being a DJ I am constantly traveling, moving equipment even pulling a big trailer full of concert equipment and this truck is the bomb. A dJ needs a nice truck with space but at the same time needs the power of a Chevy Truck. I had a Chevy Trail Blazer for over 10 years and I didnt have one problem (until my daughter got a hold of it). But that Blazer paid for its self time and time again. The sales manager, Bill Ledger, promised to keep me as customer by helping make the deal happen and he was right. I also appreciate their dedication not only to making deals but also value my time because I was in and out of there in around 2 hours including test drive, tour of dealership, negotiations, and finance paperwork.
