I wish there was an option for zero stars. A leak formed in the roof of my unit and ruined every single piece of my furniture. The insurance they force you to pay for through them only covers $2500 in damages. Thankfully I had separate renters insurance. All that the storage masters manager has to do is send one form that states what caused the leak and how much it cost to fix, to prove there was a problem. I have been calling the operations manager, and the corporate office since April 2015. They refuse to answer or return my calls. I do not recommend this facility to anyone. In fact, I highly suggest you do not use this company to store your belongings, especially if they are items you are fond of.

Beware.... Rented a unit for a mere 3 months. Went to go pick up our items this weekend, and low and behold a rat had died in our unit. Now - even though we were told by the clerk that they have NEVER had a burglary, or an infestation - they declined any responsibility. I was referred over to thier operations manager - Bryan Wofford - who basically told me that they are not liable for this what so ever. My upholstery in my unit is now ruined - and if they are not responsible for keeping rats, insects etc. out - WHO IS?? What did I pay this ridiculous rental fee for?? I would steer well clear of this business if I were you.

I needed a unit for a month and picked this place because of the reviews. The girl at the front desk is extremely helpful and has great customer service. I also needed to use the moving truck and the process was easy and the cost was extremely reasonable! If I need a storage in the future I would most definitely come back and also refer friends and co workers. My unit 2129 was clean and overall I think its a safe place to store your items. Rented a storage masters unit. The manager was very helpful and being able to us the moving truck was a big help. Only complain is there use of "free use of moving truck" then they charge you $15 for insurance? Still $15 is way cheaper then renting a truck myself. Unit is very clean, and I like the fact that they have a bathroom on site that you can us.

I highly recommend renting at Storage Masters and am a very satisfied customer. They have the best prices on storage units in Plano and the store manager is always very courteous and pleasant when I have a question. Very safe location and well-maintained.

I had a wonderful experience with Storage Masters!!! Being able to use there truck instead of renting one was a big plus. The facility is in a very safe location and they maintain the grounds well. I feel that my belongings are in a safe place.
