O stars what they should get. 1st time at The Christians Brothers Shop In Rockwall: After having my Xterra towed to Christians Brothers because it wouldn’t start. It was supposedly repaired and a day later it started acting up again. 2nd time at The Christians Brothers Shop In Rockwall: Took it back and Kevin blamed it on a loose gas gap. He said he they ran diagnostic on it and it was good to go. 3rd time at The Christians Brothers Shop In Rockwall: I called Christians Brothers because it would not start and I was stranded then it was towed to your shop. Kevin said it there was a short in the wiring, Christians Brothers needed a part for the wiring but the part supposedly was going to be a while before it came in once ordered. So it was supposedly fixed, without the needed part. 4th time at your shop: My vehicle continued to act up, I called Kevin ask if he or someone would come get it and look at it, he declined. I was concerned my family would be stranded. He said for me to bring in and and he would look at it. I no longer felt safe driving it and took it up to the Nissian in Rockwall and had a Nissian Authorized Mechanic and his Manager lookout at it. The Nissian shop had multiple concerns which I attached with the Key that was dropped Saturday for the 4th time. I took pictures of the unsafe and unprofessional wiring job that was done to my vehicle. The wiring has probably done damage to other parts of my vehicle. The gas pressure was beyond a safe level. I took a picture of that as well. It was clearly unsafe to drive, and dangerous. The time I have lost and stress of dealing with your shop has been beyond overwhelming and very costly.

I came in to get a new ignition switch installed. They told me they would run some diagnostic tests to make sure thats what was wrong with it. They do that and tell me that yes, the ignition switch needs to be replaced, as well as the fuel pump, water pump, serpentine belt, thermostat and gasket and radiator cap...well over 2000.00 worth of work. Well I had replaced my fuel filter a month before, so I knew the fuel pump was good. And my serpentine belt had just been replaced 6 days before by my local mechanic back home. Very disappointed in a shop that tried to take advantage of my situation. After paying the electrical diagnosis I left. I went up the street to another mechanic that replaced my ignition switch for less then half of what they quoted. 2 weeks later I drove all the way back home to Illinois and had my local mechanic look at my car and I showed him the paperwork from this place. He did a free 40 point check on my car and said "Im really sorry, sometimes people like to take advantage of people, youre a woman and you were traveling out of state with your child. It happens. Ive looked over everything and double checked and none of what they said needs to be replaced, actually needs to be replaced" Im thankful to have a wonderful mechanic who I know I can trust. This place is very disappointing. Just because Im a woman, doesnt mean I dont know anything about my car. And Im definitely not going to allow someone to take my hard earned money, for nothing. If you take your car here, make sure to get a second opinion. Big Ds is right around the corner and HALF the price.

I took my Lexus to a local dealer and after paying $128 for a "diagnosis" I was quoted $3500 to replace a number of cam shafts and related parts. I called Christian Brothers for a second opinion, and told them the code that the engine was giving. They mentioned that Toyota have some service bulletins regarding that code and that what Toyota suggested is cleaning some parts, not replacing. So I took it in, and Kevin said he would get his Master Tech to diagnose it. He would not tell the tech what Toyota had quoted to avoid biasing him. The quote came back at $1600. They did the repair in a timely fashion. Ive been driving the car for a few weeks, and its working great. I highly recommend this company.

I had a great experience today with CBA in Rockwall. After dropping by to find out the price of an alignment for my wifes car, I stepped back outside and made 2 calls to the local competitors. CBA beat the others by $10 & $25 easily. While my alignment was being done I was able to enjoy a nice cold drink and use their WiFi, which let me continue to be productive during the mid-day service. I enjoyed the shop banter and the company of the other pleased guests. It certainly said a lot when a regular came in and they called him by name! It was a great first experience and I will definitely consider CBA first when facing repairs or service that I cannot do on my own.

This is another typical rip-off chain store. They profess Christian values but dont believe it. It appalls me that a company would use a Christian representation and yet practice unethical behavior. Their special oil change prices costs as much and anywhere else in town. Their mechanics are not highly certified at all. I would never allow them to make any substantial repair on my car. After talking to them, especially the mechanics, if you know anything at all about cars, you will not let them work on your car either. Their chain store mentality is never to the benefit of the customer.

$99 diagnostic fee that ballooned to over $500 to let us know we need a new engine because they dont rebuild/repair them. So basically they charge you to find a problem they cant fix. But they can charge $10,000 for a new engine install. Their sign does say Automotive Center and not repair center. That should have been a red flag. They should have been upfront with the fact that they dont actually work on engines. There was no reason to take the engine apart if they dont actually rebuild/repair them. Plus they charged a $100 more to put it back together. Deceptive practices.

I was coming from Frisco to visit a friend in Rockwall when my car started sputtering and jerking. Luckily I could see the Christian Brothers from where I was and my car made it in. Pat got it in, figured it out and fixed it up. Amy was so sweet, she took me in her Christian Brothers car to my friends house...she even picked me up when my car was ready so we didnt have to get the baby up from his nap to get in the car!!! It is a 40 minute drive for me to this Christian Brothers, but I will never take my little clunker to anyone else. Thanks Amy and Pat!!

My wife and I brought a used car here for a Pre Purchase Inspection. The inspection was thorough and well worth the price. This service has given us a great peace of mind during the used car purchasing process. However, we were most impressed by the staff. They kindly gave us a ride to a local restaurant to wait during the inspection, and were very patient with our many questions. They were friendly, warm and welcoming and made the entire experience very pleasurable. I cant recommend the service or the establishment enough.
