Writing b/c there is no direct feedback to the owner from the website that I see other than FB. The staff is nice and absolutely willing to earn business from a hard work standpoint; however, management is inconsistent with communicating the product/pricing. After reading Karmas ad in the Impact (gratuitous plug) for a $16 hand wash in March (did not read fine print. Not sure there was any), I thought, "wow, thats an incredible deal and timely." My new vehicle was needing a dealership detail refresh. Upon arriving, the manager at the time informed me that because my vehicle is large, the price was nearly triple the $16. That was a bit of a shock, so I left. In fairness, Ive paid as much as $250 for frequent detailing of 3/4 ton trucks. Just been a while, but I was not wanting that level of service. I returned the follow week accepting how much a hand wash costs and rationalized membership and how frequently I would be willing to keep the truck washed, etc. I again spoke with the same manager, ordered the wash, and the process seemed great and the staff was very fast. The hopped and jumped all over my big truck and it was done in under, maybe, 30 minutes. After paying, I looked the truck over, but then noticed my running boards were washed, but the 3 highly visible brackets holding them to the truck were still dirty. My new black running boards were also now scratched in the middle powder coated areas from where the washers were stepping along getting to the top of my truck roof. They had hung off the side of the truck stepping outside of the rubber/plastic foot padding on the bars. I then noticed the wheel wells and truck bed were very dirty too. At that point I was informed that the bed would have been another $10 sur charge, the brackets on the boards another $10, and the wheel wells or undercarriage was $10 too. $30 extra for just some small exterior work I figured was included. I wasnt even wanting interior because I maintain that. $76 for an exterior hand wash. At that point, I thought, "okay, thats my inexperience with this process, but I will look for a better wash company experience." They exist, I just havent yet been in the Round Rock market for a better wash until now. A month goes by and I get a birthday email from my Five Star account for a free $10 a la carte/extra wash feature at Karma. I didnt erase the message, but rather saved it just in case I were to ever go back. I then get a b-day gift from my wife and kids a week later for the $46 Karma wash. I hadnt told them of my previous experience. So, last week I finally decided to use my gifts. No sense in wasting them, but I was only getting services up to the amount of my gift totals based on my previous experience. When I pulled into Karma, I was greeted by a different manager. I requested the basic $46 wash, and an undercarriage cleaning for $10 as previously priced by the previous manager, but I explained I had a Karma gift for the $10 a la carte. He wasnt sure what that was or how to apply it. He seemed confused when I tried to explain what the $10 gift was. I asked where the previous manager was and he said he was running behind and would be at the location shortly. I thought it would be easy to work through that matter and wasnt overly concerned, so I continued, pointed out the previous scratches, the running board brackets, bed, etc, but only wanted a good exterior wash and wheel wells cleaned this time. I wasnt getting the bed done. The finished product was great and I was willing to try the service again for $56 in the future. This is what I was prepared to pay moving forward for my vehicle...even today. When I arrived today for the $56 (wash/wheel wells), I was told the wheel wells were $20. The manager also informed me that he told me this last time, gave me a deal, and I had agreed to the future charge. This response was weird, but I chocked it up to maybe a language barrier or misinformation. I know I havent been difficult, only want clarity in the service pricing, and Im a returning customer. Insights?

i do the monthly plan for my car. took my wifes honda fit (a subcompact car) in for wash and vacuum and they said the cheapest it would be is $18. Makes no sense seeing how the "standard wash" shows to be $16.95 and includes vacuum. I feel they just throw numbers out there and dont have a structured price plan defined. Also, i think i will cancel my monthly plan because if it is cold out, they are closed. hard to get your moneys worth when you drive 20 min to find them closed within business hours. Also, good luck getting ahold of them on the phone. Update: I had my car (which has a full custom paint job) get the "diamond coating" paint detail at the Wax Shack before I ever took my car to Karma. The paint was like glass after the process from the Wax Shack. Since then Ive had Karma hand wash it 6 times or so and now you can see surface swirls and scratches on the hood. Obviously, there is no way to prove they caused this, but I have had my car washed there exclusively since the paints diamond coating process and surface swirls usually are indicators of the car being improperly washed where grit/dirt are on the device that is being scrubbed against clear cost of paint. I had left a 3 star review, but now lower it to 2 stars. I just cant recommend it. I cancelled my membership. Now I will have to spend a couple hundred to get my paint back to show-quality and will have to find another route for cleaning. 2nd update: And as you said in your previous response, I cancelled on 12/20 after you all washed it and i got home and noticed the scratches/surface swirls on hood. (oh, and i said in my first review that the wax shack did the diamond coating detail. they are the only ones who ever touched the car before your wash. He was a nice guy and actually had good things to say about you Josh, so you shouldnt be putting the blame on him and trash talking his detail.)

I stopped by this past weekend, and was overall happy with how my car came out. The staff was nice and friendly and didnt hesitate to take a look at your car and tell you what they recommend. (And NO they didnt try and upcharge and recommend the most expensive one) The gentlemen that helped me explained why he had to charge me $5 extra per rim since they are after market and have to take the time to clean each one. This was not a issue at all, how ever on one of the rims they did miss quite a bit on the slight inside of wheel (obviously still very reachable with a towel). Also missed a few spots on the front bumper from what appeared to me a few bugs. The inside was almost perfect, found a few spots in the rear of my car (2012 Ford Mustang gt) as well as the emergency brake boot but like I said overall happy with the way my car came out. Ended up paying $160 out the door including tip and will definitely come back thanks to the good customer service. You get what you pay for, they have washes going all the way up to $500+ so obviously on a $140 was their is going to be room for improvement
