I went in today and I got a call while I was waiting in line. I took the call as I wasnt disrupting anyone by doing so. As Im standing in line I get called next. I walk up, put the person Im talking to on hold, set my phone down and wait to be attended. The man realized he couldnt help me so I was sent back in line. I proceed to talk on my phone again. At this point, as Im still waiting in line while other customers are being attended it is at that point that Loring P. decided to turn her attention to me and loudly exclaims, "are you gonna put that on hold?" Excuse me? Mind you shes not helping me yet. Im still waiting in line. Shes with a customer directing her attention to me in a very rude manner over a call. I could understand if I was being loud or standing in front of her, being rude and not getting off my phone but I was planning on doing the same thing I had done with the previous attendant. She had NO right to call me out the way she did. I did bring it to the supervisors attention. Although it seemed like she didnt really care for the way she treated me either. She said she would talk to her. It was just uncalled for and I wont be back to this location. Its 5 mins from my house but Ill drive and extra 15 min and go to the Georgetown location to avoid this type of customer service. I have never been disrespected there.

I was heading home from the vet with my small 14lb dog and remembered I needed a box to send a gift. So I stopped at this USPS for the first time. I dont see any signs about no dogs allowed and I dont want to leave her in the car with this Texas heat (its June). I walk in carrying my dog, I see one of the clerks and she just smiles so I think ok its fine to have my dog with me. I start looking at the boxes and the other clerk was in the middle of a story and suddenly stops talking and I hear someone laugh so I dont know if she made a face or what but then I hear loudly "um, maam NO!" I turn to see if shes talking to me and wondering no, what? I look at her and she says "NO you cant do that." I say "I cant have her in here?" She says "no" I say "okay" and as Im walking out I hear her talk about how theres no dogs allowed to the other customers. I understand if those are the rules, but I didnt see a sign stating this and the way she handled that was completely unacceptable. Im not surprised to see the bad reviews. I know government jobs dont have the best reputation.. I just ask to be treated with courtesy. I suggest adding some customer service training to her development plan. I called the location twice to get the clerks name and the phone just rings.. No one answers.

If I could give them a negative it would be a -10! This is the absolute worse place ever!!! I do not normally write such reviews, but I just have to clear my head. I own a small business and have "tried" so many times to use them and give them another chance, but they just dont deserve it. They just need to start over with employees. I know lots of good people who deserve their jobs. Rick the so call supervisor is the worse one of all. The local postman kept delivering a package of mine to the wrong place. After several attempts I was told to pick it up at this dreaded PO. After a 45 minute wait and being treated like garbage by Rick he rudely says try checking your mail box its there. Mind you I checked right before I left....and was told by there PO that it was there. A waste of time!!! Today I waited in line for an hour for PostCard stamps....only to be told Oh weve been out of those for a week now... NEXT! It is SAID that these people get paid to treat people this way. This is an awful AWFUL place filled with RUDE people!

Absolutely awful. My package was supposed to be delivered on May 7th firstly, they didnt even attempt until the 9th. Then since it wasnt on time the person was working the day they tried to deliver it. So they left a note. I called and requested they re-deliver the package and they said they would deliver it the next day. Which they didnt. So they just held it until now. May 31st. The supervisor (Which was a woman) I talked to told me I was given wrong information and said my friend needed to come pick up the package so she went up there just to be told they had nothing for her. So I call and talk to another supervisor who says "oh its here she just needs to say Its an express package", I was unaware there was a difference between a regular package and an express package. Needless to say, I wont be using USPS for my personal OR my company shipping. This is what incompetence looks like. Apparently they hire any dumb ass that walks in. Thanks for lack of service. Sincerely, Im going to FedEx.

Postage rate keep going UP and service keeps going DOWN! Post Office carrier to lazy to do there job. Had a package sent back to shipper by letter carrier because he/she could not find the address! I live in a DUPLEX in OLD part of town! They need to get out of there trucks and deliver the mail instead of cluster boxes! Have you every seen a skinny postal employee? If you did than thats the 10% that does all the work for the other 90%! 2.1 billion — dollar amount paid every 2 weeks in salaries and benefits. 596,000 — number of career employees The USPS is usless....they chronically lose packages and mail and dont care. Why should they. They are part of the US Government. The workers are overpaid and underworked, as one retiree of the USPS once put it to me. I cant tell you how many times I have sent mail or packages via USPS and they were either delayed or lost completely. I have gone to Fed Ex and UPS for my packages or very important documents. They USPS is a joke....plain and simple.

Warning, Warning, Warning! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I had two packages with tracking showing that they were delivered on the 5th. of December, however I never recieved them. I went to this post office (my local office) and was referred to Doug. He is the manager at this location. He took down my two tracking numbers and came back with information I already knew. Then took my name and phone number and said he would talk to the carrier and get back with me. 7 days past and I never heard from Doug. So, I called the post office and Doug answered. He said he never talked to the carrier and took all my information again and said he would get right back with me. Its been over a week and i have still yet to hear from Doug! Doug is a liar and this post office is a joke! I now understand why this organization is in the mess it is in. Do yourself a favor and ship through someone else and pay the extra money!
