I took my car in to get my A/C looked at. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable when explaining what the problems were. Apparently the wire that was hooked up to the compressor was the wrong one and had melted parts of the system. They gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix it ($1100 to fix the whole unit) but I didnt have the money so I had to try and suck it up and deal with the heat. To keep from damaging the system more, they zip-tied the wire out of the way. I finally couldnt stand no having A/C anymore and decided I would have another mechanic look at it before I take it back in, just to make sure Im getting a good deal. This other mechanic found the real problem. The controller on the dashboard wasnt connecting properly, and the rest of the unit was perfectly fine. The wire was the only part that had been burned and he said the reason for that was because the wire must have touched a hot part of the engine when it was taken out. I ended up paying only $150 to get my A/C working again. So not only did Lewis Auto Repair not figure out what was wrong, but they tried charging me a ridiculous amount of money for parts that I didnt need. Im so happy I went somewhere else instead of spending all that money on something that wouldnt have fixed the problem. Again, they were really nice people, but I dont think Ill be coming back here again.

Dropped my car off on the day after Christmas because we were having issues with the car starting in the mornings. Sean and the guys took a look at it over the next several days and made some adjustments for me and now it starts right up. When I asked how much I owed them I was shocked to hear that I didnt owe them a dime!!!! They could have easily said they had to replace a few parts, charge me for their labor....anything. This is the third time I have taken a vehicle here and each time I am glad I did. These guys are great. I highly recommend their expertise and service.

I know just enough to not trust mechanics. I have also found many dishonest ones. I have never found anything to question at Lewis Auto repair. Their rates are in line with other places,I have found all work requested to be complete, on time and per the quote. All the guys are very polite and really seem to care that you are satisfied. Jason and his team are my go to guys.

Took my van Im for alignment after getting new tires, excellent customer service, work was done in less than 2 hours and that included installing camber bolt kit on both sides. 2 other shops in area wanted more than twice the amount I paid here. My van drives perfect and I will definitely recommend this shop and I will definitely be back for any other repairs.

These guys are the best! I have a lowered mustang. Which wont fit on many lifts. These guys have a lift that worked perfectly. Sean was awesome! I had an oil change done. And needed to replace the front under body, front shield. He made it happen! These guys know customer service. And their pricing is extremely fair, and in line! Thanks again!

Called and spoke with Shawn, he gave us a quote for 158 un-seen, total came in after getting the part ordered to complete the repair for 170. We were very pleased with the overall work, the waiting room was clean and comfy, with refreshments and snacks available. 5 out of 5 stars is not good enough, they were great!
