I go here all the time, the rude workers can be very nice if you ask nicely for help and / or seem to know what youre talking about. All the lifts were working, yeah its a little grimy in there but what do you expect from a DIY shop? Also, youre supposed to clean and mop yourself, so I can imagine that a lot of people dont do that. They have all the tools to do the job and the man behind the counter lent me his personal 1/4 air ratchet and torx bits to get a throttle body off. Their main auto shop where you pay them to do the work is fully equipped and clean like a real shop should be. Go here if you want a $6/HR stall or a $7/HR lift stall. Cant beat it if you know what youre doing or have a slight idea, they can help you when you get stuck, but will not do the work for you. To the person saying theres no welding, I saw a fully capable welding area, not sure about paint though, although I would never do that myself aside from maybe if it were already stripped and prepped.

This place is mediocre at best. The tools are all sign out only which makes working on your car extremely long and drawn out. Every other auto hobby shop has their own set of basic tools and then you request specialty tools. The two workers there are rude as hell and act like you should praise them for annoying them checking out tools. If you have the ability to do it in your own garage, do so. If you have to go here, add another 45 mins to your time working on your car because you have to wait for tools non stop.

Called just to check the hours. The guy on the phone was pretty rude. One of the worst auto hobby places Ive encountered. For being a Joint Base, its odd to figure out why they dont have a DECENT auto hobby shop, no welding, no paint booth, etc. Fort Carson and even Patterson AFB were superb compared to this one.

the mechanic couldnt assist me and tell me where the coolant drain plug was located on my dodge Dakota. I expect more from a professional mechanic. Also, the mechanics dont appear very enthused to help.

It was ok. I wanted to learn how to change breaks but wore flip flops which is apparently not allowed so ladies if you want to learn make sure you wear closed toe shoes or else you cant do anything.

Waste of time, worst hobby shop in all my 14 years of service. MWR needs to take a look at restructuring its resources. Dirty, mostly broken lifts. Closed bays. Customer service sucks.

Great place for the money. The staff treats you like one of the guys. Only down side is the tools need to be updated. They are missing some items and some of the equipment is worn out.

Worst hobby shop Ive seen. Rude workers and they nickle and dime you for everything. If you need a shop rag, pay me, oh you need hand soap, pay me. Kids are not allowed in as well.

I did an oil change and it was nice. Everything I could need. I see other reviews about more complex work but I didnt have that experience. Staff was helpful.
