I have had a recurring problem with a leak in our ceiling by our fireplace. I hired Beldon because I THOUGHT they were a reputable company. They came in and "diagnosed" my problem. After charging me $4,500 to fix the area, things were fine until we had the first really big rain, and then we had a reoccurrence of the leak. My mistake was not calling them back right away, but we had a wedding we were planning at the time and I then I had surgery following that. It fell down on my priority list. After the most recent big rain, the leak came back again and we noticed mold starting to grow at the site of the leak. I called Beldon back, and they performed a leak test by running water on our roof. Nothing happened, so they told me to have the sheetrock cut out where the leak was occurring so that they could see inside the ceiling when they performed the next leak test, which was supposed to have been today. I waited hours beyond the time the company had set up with me for the workers to come back. No one came, no one called. I finally called the company to see what was happening, and the representative said she would check and see. It turns out that the company decided that they would not honor their two year warranty on the work to our roof because of the hail storm that hit San Antonio this past year, even though the problem I had was precisely the area they unsuccessfully worked on and had absolutely nothing to do with the hail. What infuriates me is that not only did they drop the ball in fixing my problem, to the tune of $4500, they instructed me to have my ceiling opened up for a test they decided NOT to show up for, and they did not have the courtesy to even let me know that!!! I now have a gaping hole in my ceiling, with no plans for anyone to come do anything about it. I was told I would be charged for them to do the water test. THAT would have been a handy thing to know BEFORE having a large hole cut in the ceiling per their instructions. This company is overpriced, overrated, unorganized, and will find ANY loophole they can to not stand behind their warranty. I guess they were kicking their greedy heels up in excitement when the hail storm hit San Antonio. Not only did they decide that this would negate every one of all their warranties of previous work done (lucky them), they also had a windfall of new repair jobs. There are plenty of good roofing companies in town. Dont give this money grubbing group a penny of your money. They do not stand behind their work, and are terrible about keeping their appointments.

Before Nov.12,2015,Duane Charping from Beldon did a drone assessment of my roof. I didnt have to wait too long for that. However, his quotes and what was included were too brief to say the least for insurance company. Basically sign, pay, and heres the final-I even made my own contract for him to make sure what all was included to no avail. Finally, he left the company and I was told by Duane to deal with Tim Carmichael. He just sent the same undescriptive contract to be signed without discussing the job or ever having seen my house and roof. He didnt have Duanes notes and survey. I couldnt do business that way.It took me many phone calls before receiving a reply and eventually a home visit. That was a month ago and every week Im promised that hell have the specs for insurance and costs for me, but Im put behind recent hail people despite living with black mold and 3 other toxic molds which they knew about for all this time. I even gave them the documents and drone survey from Duane, specs of the public adjuster, and specs from the roofing company the insurance company used so they just needed to adjust for the correct tile (insurance tried to sub a cheaper material). Meantime, not only is my health at stake, but time is about up for insurance and I cant even hire an attorney without correct specs. I checked other companies but now with the hail they have a long wait list. This wouldnt have happened if Beldon hadnt put things off. Its so bad now I have to find another place to live.

After the 2016 hail storm I decided to have Beldon replace our roof. I had always heard good things about Beldon of how they honored their word and stood by their work. I met with their salesman Danny who had been with Beldon many years. We negotiated a fair price of $9,800.00 and signed a contract. I felt the price was high since I had just replaced in 2010 for $6,700.00. A couple of months passed and I contacted Danny to see where we were in the schedule. He indicated we needed to resign the digital contract form on his IPAD which we did. In the meantime I refer my father to Beldon and Danny meets with him, they negotiate a fair price and get on the schedule. A couple more months pass and we contact Beldon to get a status on our reroofs. A short time later, I am contacted by someone named Emerson who I meet with and he proceeds to tell me Beldon will not honor the deal we had signed and submits another quote of $17,400.00 to reroof my 1,870sqft home. They did the exact same thing to my father a week or so later. Their word isnt worth the paper its written on. Good luck folks but my advice is to stay away.

I would love to say how wonderful my new roof looks and offers a great performance record. BUT when I called the line was busy and asked me to leave a call back number. I did and received a call back from ANNA. I told her I would like to make an appointment for a quote on my roof. I continued to explain we just realized the hail damage as we have a water leak inside our home. I told ANNA we would like an estimate before our adjuster comes as we have no experience with a roof problems and hail damage. ANNA we will not do that. (Very rude and abrupt, surprised Beldon has any business with ANNAs attitude.) I hung up, as I could tell she could care less about repeat business. About 2 minutes later ANNA called back and said she wanted to set up an appointment. I told her I had just hung up with ANNA (herself) and you told me that Beldon would not do that. She had a laughter in her voice and hung up on me. I am over 60 years of age and do not wish to play ANNAs childish games. I am calling another company who will be happy to do the the estimate so the job can be started right away. ANNA very disappointing!!!

This company gave me a quote date 6 months out. They said if I sent my roofing measurements to them that they would set me up for a sooner date. I scanned and sent my measurements to them. Then they called me asking for a damage report that my adjuster shouldve given to me. I asked them why? I am getting my whole roof replaced? I checked and dont have a damage report. The rep said that there are many layers to a roof and they wanted to see which were affected. I feel like Ive done enough searching and printing and scanning and emailing for them and now they want more. I told them that Ive received 2 other quotes and they measured the roof themselves and didnt ask me for anything. I told them I would just call another company to get my third quote. She was totally fine with it and hung up. Odd to see a company drop 5 grand worth of business just so they dont have to do their own roof replacement quote.
