We just had our roof repaired by Santex Roofing. I called and was told that it would take about 5 days to receive a call back to schedule for a roof estimate. My roof got really damaged during a bad hail storm. I didnt mind the wait for the call back because ever other roofing company was in the same boat and so busy with all the damage that happened with the hail storm. I had spoken to at least 4 other companies and was told that they were not going to get up on my roof to assess the damage. They were going to send out a sales guy to look at my insurance paperwork and give me an estimate from that. Umm that didnt sound right. Santex and one other company were the only ones that were going to give me a proper estimate by going up on my roof and seeing the damage. They even told me they didnt even need to see my insurance paperwork. Alonso came out about 2 weeks after the initial call to inspect my roof and give me an estimate. I felt the estimate was very fair and decided to move forward with Santex because we were still two weeks out from the other company coming out. We were thinking about changing our shingle color considering we were getting our whole roof replaced. Alonso came out again with color samples for us to choose from. All meetings with Alonso were very pleasant, friendly, professional. We also discussed adding some ventilation to our roof. He was knowledgeable and discuss with us the different options and prices. I was also sold by the 12 year warranty they have for the workmanship. The longest warranty on workmanship compared to all the other companies I contacted. Our shingles took a little longer than normal to come in. Alonso said it was a special order.A crew of five men showed up at 8am on the scheduled date. Everyone was very polite and I spoke with Martin. They never asked to come in to use the bathroom or anything. They took a lunch break and just ate under my tree in the front yard. The crew was cleaning up the yard throughout the whole process. I was very impressed with how tidy they were. They did not leave one piece of trash or any nails in my yard. They went through my grass and around the house several times with a magnet. They left at 7:30pm the same day and my roof was completely done. A ridge vent was installed along the entire peek of my roof. Extremely happy with the outcome. My roof looks beautiful. Santex is a great company that provides excellent work at a fair price. I will be referring them to friends and family.

Santex Roofing is the single most professional and hard working roofing company in San Antonio and surrounding areas. After the April 2016 Hail Storm we had, both my residential and my rental properties had severe roof damage and were in need of a complete roof replacement. I contacted 6 companies in the following weeks, but each one requested a company of my insurance papers to see how much money I was allotted for repairs. I found this quite unethical. When I contacted Santex Roofing, they were the ONLY company who did NOT request my insurance paperwork (at any point). It was then that I knew I wanted to work with them, simply because of their professionalism and ethical consideration. Within a matter of a few months, both roofs were completely replaced, beginning with my own residence, and then my rental property. In both cases, my experiences were exceptional. Alonso, the gentleman with whom I worked, was professional, timely, informative, friendly, patient, and thorough. Always available for questions, and always ready to provide resources and information regarding shingle types, colors, options, the process, and the scope of the project, he, his father, and Santex Roofing made an extremely stressful situation manageable and flawless; everything went smoothly. Their crew is also professional and friendly; both properties were left free of debris and nails! The jobs were completed in a timely fashion, and, once begun, completed within a day! Their work was stellar and to date, with all the rains we had last Fall and in the last few months, I have NOT had any issues with any of the roof replacement. Everything was executed perfectly and completely. Undoubtedly, they have a lifelong customer in me, should I need roof repairs in the years to come. I honestly can not say enough about Santex except this: they dont make them like Santex anymore, as this is an ethical, hard-working, family-owned and family friendly, thorough, and professional company with exceptional customer service and assistance. From my initial inquiry the receptionist was very courteous. She explained the process and set a spot-on time frame for when I should expect a call from their sales rep. Alonso was the rep that followed up shortly after to introduce himself and set up the initial roof estimate. My husband and I had already filed a claim with our insurance but he seemed very knowledgeable and assured us he would be willing to answer any questions we had. We had received a couple of quotes prior to Santex so our bar was set at what I felt was a high standard, but Santex exceeded our expectations. Alonso was very prompt and professional from the initial estimate to the day of installation. Yet again, they provided us with a spot on time frame for the date of installation. It was after a hail storm so we waited about 4-6 weeks but he followed up via text (which works for us) twice before the actual install! He explained the process and the office reached out to us several days before the material was delivered. The items were put on the roof so we liked that we wouldnt have to figure out where they would keep the material. Theres plenty of independent roofers in our area that were eager to beat their price but I wanted quality from a reputable company & price wasnt our only concern (realistically & reasonably priced of course). My husband was pleased when the workers arrived and began working right on the time we were told. We have two children so them doing their thorough walk around and clean up was much appreciated. My husband liked that before the guys headed out one asked if he liked the roof. Gotta love a group that takes pride in their work! We would definitely recommend their services going forward to friends and family. From our family to yours, thanks Santex!

Description Of Work: They built a very nice 16 x 20 covered patio with dimensional shingles, attaching it to my house making it look like it was part of the original house...like it just belonged there. They also wired several electrical boxes and installed a ceiling fan in the middle of the patio. Member Comments: A new relaxing family safe haven. Our "Stacations" have never been better... and the beauty of it all...this project went without a hitch...We were thinking of selling our house and upgrading, but little did I know that this patio would improve my house and made me re-appreciate my home...lets just say it feels new again and no reason to sell. This small investment has bought me time and saved money, by simply staying put in my home of 19 years. I owe my "new to me" home to Santex Roofing. I could never ever live in a house without a patio again...I cant believe we did for 18 years. We liked our patio so much that I sent them to my parents house to build them one as well...my mom has always wanted a little patio, a cover to sit and enjoy her backyard...she went without one for nearly 47 years and now shes a happy relaxed lady. If your in the market for a new patio, I would highly recommend Santex Roofing...Although this was our first patio, it wasnt our first time dealing with Santex Roofing.
