To say I was a difficult customer is an understatement. But through it all Shield Roofing was patient and courteous. Initially I had trouble getting permission from my HOA to put a new roof on. After a couple of months I finally received permission. Shield Roofing honored their initial quote even months later. While putting on the new roof a sudden rain squall appeared but the employees remained on the roof to put on a covering to avoid leaking inside. This was January and it was quite cold but they remained on the roof to protect my house. After the Spring hail and rain storms our roof held up with no problems. As for the warranty. This August we ask Shield Roofing to do some minor fixes and even though they were still repairing roofs from the Spring storms and were stretched quite thin they found the time to send out employees to do the fixes. Overall I have been very happy with Shield Roofing from start to finish and even during the warranty.

Mr Hernandez was very nice but the work performed was not to standard. I still have a leaky roof, not all the materials were installed and when confronted it was too late and he said they do not perform installation of the material ordered. I cant understand why order the material & charge me for them if they did not intend to have it installed. Instructions were not followed when completing the roof. Workers did not speak english which led me to believe they were illegal aliens, not sure why there was not an american or someone speaking english on site to follow instructions. I am very dissatisfied with the outcome and now left with a faulty roof that must be re-accomplished. I would not recommend this company to anyone furthermore I will go with an american speaking english next time to avoid being taken advantage of. I had to rate as 1 star but that is only because you have to choose from 1 - 5 stars and they do not deserve a star.

When my parents needed their roof done on their rental property, we knew we needed a professional roofing contractor that could get the job done right the first time. We called Shield Roofing in San Antonio and they were out to the property quickly. They gave us a quote right away and they were there with us every step of the way helping us get the most out of our claim. A representative from Shield Roofing even showed up when our claim adjuster was there doing his review of the property, just to make sure we got the right amount of quality materials to replace the roof properly. Overall we had a great experience with Shield Roofing and I would recommend them to anyone who has residential or commercial roofing needs.

Filled out an online request for this company to come look at my roof on Friday. Its now Tuesday and Ive received no response. I called the company to see if I can get someone on the phone. Speak to a rep who tells me theyre booked until April, but someone could at least come look at it. I say ok, when can you look at it, then instantly changes mind on that, and says they cant even look at it until April. They came recommended from a friend, but apparently doesnt even feel the need to capture my business. Couldve emailed that to me Friday, and Id already have been looking for someone else. Wish I could put half a star... NO HELP AT ALL!!!

Shield did an excellent job! I have a difficult roof to work with because of an add-on and had a persistent leak as a result, and although it required extra materials and labor, they took care of it expertly and for no extra charge. The leak is gone. Mason was very helpful and courteous and was clearly concerned with doing the job right and making sure I was happy with the work. The guys worked very cleanly and efficiently - finishing in one day, left no mess and were also very courteous, conscientious, and friendly. You cannot go wrong choosing these guys. Value, quality, and all the intangibles are there.

After getting several bids and checking references I went with Shield Roofing. His references had great things to say about Henry and his company. His crew of 8 men came as promised and after tearing off the old roof actually found water damage and they fixed that whole area as well as some other minor issues I had that my insurance adjuster did not even find !! Henrys entire crew where very professional and cleaned up continually as they worked. I can say I made the right choice when I decided on hiring Shield Roofing.

Outstanding company. Superb customer service. It was my first time having my roof replaced (1st time ever making a claim on my insurance) and was quite nervous as to what to do but Shield Roofing made it so easy.
