The actual move went ok. The delivery truck was late due to the inability of the driver to locate one of his crew members. This resulted in them working into the night to unload at the destination. Damage was minimal, although unnecessary. The transport of my wifes Ford Explorer almost turned into a fiasco. This was not Allieds fault, and they helped resolve it. The real problem is with the billing. I paid with a cashiers check based on a pre-load quote and Allieds procedures. The quote was estimated for a load of over 18,000 lbs. The actual load was less than 12,000 lbs. This resulted in an overcharge of over $2300.00, which I was told would be refunded to me. Well, its been almost 4 weeks since the move, and Im still waiting on my refund. Several emails and phone calls have resulted in nothing. They cant even find someone to tell me what their processes are in this situation. This is a pitiful and unacceptable way of doing business and is starting to smell like a crooked organization. This has turned an otherwise positive experience into a negative one. A refund based on a documented overcharge(I have the numbers and info saved) should be a very simple transaction to discuss and complete. In my chosen oilfield career, I move often. I would not be comfortable in trusting Allied on a future move. I have waited over 2 weeks to fill this out in order to give Allied a chance to fulfill their obligation. Enough is enough. I will get my refund.

I was appalled by the thievery of this company. They prey on the elderly. My parents were given an estimate that was voided on the day of pack up and move. You could tell the minute they showed up for the move that it wasnt going to go well. The emotional strain that they put on my elderly parents was horrible. Coleman backed them into a corner with bumping the weight up 20% when they had no flexibility in the move date. They expected 80+ year olds to do most of the packing and then wanted to charge more because my parents had only packed about 75% of their goods. They left because of "a hostile environment." Thankfully we found another company, All My Sons moving & storage who were extremely good and things went much better with them. This company should be reported to the authorities that protect older Americans. They also required payment in advance which had to be disputed.

Ive never had to deal with the type of thievery and mistreatment of soldiers in my entire 16 years career as I did with this company. They have the worst customer service, no kidding-about 60% of my items were damaged or broken altogether. They send this inspection guy to my home who just takes pictures and attempt to jimmy-rig high dollar items, just so they dont have to pay for it. They when it came to settling, they have the nerve to offer me $900 on over $3000 of damage goods. These people are crooks, they are very unprofessional and they have a track record of not paying for the mayhem they create. I plan to do all that I can by starting a petition with the Dept of Defense that will no longer let them be an option for moving service members and their families.

We used Colman recently, we had a pretty good experience. Our driver was amazing, most of the crew was great too. We had a couple minor issues but would definitely use them again checking things a little closer next time around. This was our first time using a moving company like this.

In over 20 moves, Many with Allied, Derrick and his crew were as good as we have ever seen. No damage at all and they were very pleasant to work with and met the schedule that they promised. I highly recommend Coleman Allied. Besides a great move their price was very competitive.

They damaged our BRAND NEW HOME!!!!!! and then tried to deny both at the time, when we confronted them and when we sought reimbursement for damages. We FINALLY got what we were owed, but dont waste your time with Coleman Allied. They are the worst.
