This was definitely my worst moving experience. I have moved many times before, and expected this to take about 3 hours. Instead it took almost all day. John and George were the movers. Both of them seem to be really nice guys, and worked really hard. It was obvious though, that George should have chosen a different career path, or maybe the company should invest into his gym membership, and start feeding him. Poor guy weighted no more than 100 lbs. He had hard time lifting things, was bumping into the walls, and left some major scratches on the furniture. The other guy John was a little older, and had more experience. He told me that he has been with the company the longest, and really cares, but showed me an attitude when I asked him to be more careful. When the day was finally over, they announced that they stopped taking personal checks, and there was 5% surcharge for credit card transactions. I would be really nice to know about it prior to this. Not that it is a deal breaker, but it is not the best business practice. Their boss Gabriel talked to me on the phone trying to explain why they are doing it.I am a business owner myself, and I am aware that the credit card companies charge certain percentage, but you should not pass this on to customers without informing them. To summarize all of this: to be called "Best Movers" these guys need some major improvements in their customer service, and employee screening practices

I Hire this people to move me from one home to the other, so they were great until they tear up my linoleum floor, thank god i noticed, so they told me i could file a claim but that they did not have the forms with them ( how convenient) that i will have to get them through mail because that was the procedure, i tried contacting the guy in charge but no answer and after several calls he told me the same thing ... It has been about 2 months and have been trying to contact him but he does not answer..... supposedly to what i was told by the moving guys i have to file a claim within 90 days but since they keep blowing me off i wont be able to. My flooring is all messed up and it will cost up to $1000 to replace because its all one sheet!! I refuse to pay them because they did not have the forms, the next day i went to their "office" to pay an grab forms and he was not there. Have been trying to contact him and text him but no luck. They tried to scare me with cops if i did not pay immediately i provided drivers license and have called and called

Horrible. They did not show up for the scheduled time (12-2), we called at 230 and they could not give us answer what was going on. After phone tag was multiple people (all who were on different pages) we found out they booked us for the wrong day. We were hiring them to pack a trailer for a cross country move. We were on a serious time crunch. We finally got people out at almost 5pm. The guys were nice but you could tell they did not give a crap. They took way longer than expected, costing us much more and we got no discount for them booking us wrong or for the major inconvenience. After our stuff getting to our new house, we hired different movers to unpack the truck. The mover were appalled on how the truck was packed. You could tell they just put stuff where ever just so they could hurry up and leave. So mad with this company, I wish we could get our money back. Do not use this company, save yourself the time, stress and money. Go with one of the other 100 moving companies in SA, I sure wish we did.

Decided on this company because they have really good reviews compared to others companies without the outrages prices of a few bigger ones . After calling and speaking to Gabe on the phone I was able to get the best deal possible. I was amazed to get put on the schedule for 9 am the next day considering my job was pretty difficult (last movers cancelled and I had nothing packed in boxes). He assured me everything would be fine and to my surprise Gabe was actually the lead mover as well! His team of Richard and William came in ready to work and had everything packed and moved into the truck before 3pm. It was originally scheduled to be a two day deal however they offered to stay a little later and get in done in one so my family wouldnt have to stay in a motel. Couldnt be more happier with their service and will recommend them to everyone I know that has to move. Thank you Gabe, Richard, William and the whole Texas Best Moving Team!

Our last move a few years ago was cross country with a major national company and it was a nightmare. We paid considerably more than we were originally quoted, items were damaged and our truck was late. After this experience I was dreading moving again. When we found out my husband was being transferred to a branch an hour away we knew this time we needed to ask around to find a better company. A good friend referred us to Texas Best Movers and thats who we went with for our most recent move. We liked that they give a fixed price- the price wont go up from their initial quote. I was a little skeptical whether that would actually be the case but it turned out to be completely true. They were also on time and professional. I had no complaints and it was a completely different and 100% better experience than what we had with other companies in the past.

I already moved out all the smaller items and boxes from my upstairs apartment, I just needed help with the larger items such as the washer, dryer, love seat, etc. Once the paperwork was complete, which was simply writing in the destination address and signing in two places, John and Matt showed up and went straight to work. We were out of the apartment, delivered the stuff to the storage unit, and they were on their way to the next job in a short period of time. I already coordinated to use Texas Best Movers to move my stuff out of storage and into my new home after closing, and I hope to work with Matt and John again. They are a good team. Thank you for your outstanding service.

7/11/2016. Recommend with all of my heart!!!! The only company I will recommend because I know first hand that they WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! If you want a company who cares more about you & your familys happiness more than a dollar, this is your company. They are the epitome of integrity & upmost professionalism. This company literally Came To My Familys Rescue. Had to fire moving company with less than 6 hours to be out of the house with 3 small children 3 & under. We called Texas Best Movers & Gabriel sent an amazing crew that started at 9:30pm until complete. I would go back to war with men of this type of integrity, hard work & dedication to mission accomplishment.

The guys at Texas Best went out of their way to make sure everything went smooth with my move from a third floor apartment into a condo. It was a very hot August day to move a 2 bedroom apartment . PLUS a washer and dryer. They were on time, courteous, and took care not to damage any of my furniture. So many unexpected things can happen when you are moving. I could not get the keys to the condo in time for the movers arrival but the guys stayed past their scheduled time just to help me out. Even though it made them late for their next move ( sorry about that) . But this could be you one day and you would want the same. Thanks Texas Best !
