I own a fully loaded 2013 Audi S5 that has had a ton of work done by DBC. I first took my Audi to DBC based on a simple Internet search looking for APR dealers, DBC came up, I called the shop to find out how much it would be to order and install a full AWE exhaust and also install a Stage 1 APR tune. I called the shop and got a hold of the manager named Berk. At first contact one might be instantly turned off by his short concise to the point demeanor which kind of feels as if he is in a hurry and hurrying you. I got through this quick discussion and still decided to take a chance and bring my prized S5 to his shop for work. Arriving at the shop the first thing I noticed is his place is immaculate, as I am a paranoid customer who only wants the best touching my ride. So as I sat in the waiting area and I begin to realize why Berk is so curt and short on the phone, his place is BUSY! I barely got five uninterrupted minutes of his time to sit down and talk about the options I wanted done on my Audi. He runs a five person shop with him handling all of the phone calls, in and out customer traffic up front while stepping in the back to make sure things are running smooth. He took me on a quick tour of the work area in the back and I have to say you could probably eat off the floor it is so clean. I was immediately sold and decided to make the commitment and ordered the full AWE exhaust system and patiently waited. The custom exhaust system took a little longer than I anticipated, but I tell it was truly worth the wait! The team at DBC tuning did an absolutely phenomenal job installing the full exhaust system and Stage 1 APR tuning. Not one issue, not one flaw, no issues at all. Their cost seemed high at first when we talked about the install, but after seeing their work, it was all worth it, you get what you pay for! I have since brought my Audi back for an APR Stage 2 super charger pulley upgrade installation and tuning as well as a alignment after an installation of H&R OE Springs. All of these installs were flawless as expected! DBC tuning will be the only shop that I will be bringing my Audi S5 for any work in the future, period! The relationship with Berk and his Crew is at a level of trust that one should have when dealing with expensive vehicles and I HIGHLY recommend DBC tuning to anyone who wants their prized expensive vehicle tuned and supercharged!

I took my VW here when it was DBC tunning, for upgraded brakes, they gave me my car back with a bent rear axle and bent wheel, with the steering wheel out of alignment... I asked around and its common knowledge that they joy ride cars... They of course played dumb and refused to do anything, so I had to go to Austin Imports in Buda, to get a replacement rear axle and I had to get my wheel refurbished but they hit it so hard that the hub is still not true after fixing it, and these are the GLi BBS 18" wheels. I know for a fact that my car had good alignment before taking it to Berk, and I had just put the BBS wheels on it and know for a fact that they were all true as I had them repaired at the local wheel shop and saw them balanced with my own eyes a week before taking my car to these criminals. If you ask around you will find out that this shop is a joke and Berk does what he wants and then just lies and you will be out several hundred dollars fixing the damage he does to your car... In fact till this day, my car new axle, fixed wheels and multiple alignments does still not handle with the balance it had before Berk did my brake upgrade and joy rode my car into some curb hard enough to bend the axel and wheel. He is probably a sociopath because he just lied to my face about it and refused to back down even though we both know what he did. zero stars would be more realistic, as I spent more trying to fix the damage he did than I spent getting the brakes upgraded. avoid at all costs. why do you think they changed their name from DBC tunning, word travels and their reputation was garbage.

DBC tuning were very technically proficient in their work when they completed a KO4 turbo upgrade with an intercooler, engine mounts, exhaust and various other things on my 2012 GTI. The shop was clean and you could tell they have worked on a few cars. They were able to get everything done in one day and stayed late to do it. If I lived in San Antonio I would definitely get my car serviced there. The reason they are not getting a 5 star rating is because they said they would call me throughout the process and give me updates but never did. I called later in the afternoon to see how things were going and what time I should be there to pick up my vehicle. They said they would call me and let me know. I waited another 3 hrs and then called back. They said it would be ready by 5:30. I showed up and they didnt have it finished until 8:00. I understand that it takes a while to do all that work and they did a very good job but the communication was lacking as it was when I tried to make my appointment. The owner also made sure I understood that they usually dont work that late on Saturdays. I took it as it was my fault they had to stay so late and it was an inconvenience for them. Other than that everything went well. Everything worked as it should of and workmanship was amazing. TOP NOTCH work!

This review is easier summed up by the email I sent the owner after nearly 5 full days of working on my car: Berk, I wanted to share a note of appreciation. I have had many trials and issues with shops in the past but this was by far the most pleasurable experience yet. You were transparent with your recommendations and pricing and I never felt worried that the outcome would be anything less than what we agreed on. I really appreciated the routine updates and quick turnaround on emails and photos too. It makes a world of psychological difference when you can see the regular updates versus just waiting for an all done phone call or a call that tells you x, y, and z are also bad... After driving home 3+ hours I can say that it does feel like a new car. Not a different car, just a new version of my baby. Steering is tighter, clutch engagement is crisp and tight, the battery issue is fixed, and the handling is much improved and straight. I wont know how happy I am with the clutch upgrade itself until after the break in period but so far I believe I have made two very good choices between you and JHM. Ill be back if I need anything major before my job takes me out of TX. Until then Ill recommend your shop to others with German vehicles and share my experience. Till next time, thanks again.
