HORRIBLE Customer Service, Integrity & Values, Rude, will find anything any means to NICKEL & DIME you so they can make as much off you. MANAGER is rude, and NOT Customer Oriented. STAY AWAY So having moved to here from another location where I had a trustworthy Meineke, they offered my wife a 1 year parts & labor warranty on some work on her car. The parts failed prematurely, thus they instructed us to take it to the closest one...which would be this one off Bandera Rd. When I brought it in and explained to the Manager about the car and the warranty, she went off right away "We dont do 1 year warranties, only 90 days", and was quite rude from the beginning. I explained what the other Meineke told us, etc. She even told me how another customer thought she was rude...well get to that. So after telling her "Its THE ball joint" (Im not a run of the mill customer that has NO idea about how a car works), she still wanted to charge the Diagnosis fee, which I was telling her "I dont need one, just only validate that its the ball joint, and thus the other shop would pay for everything (which they did, shout out to Brunswick, GA Meineke, best shop ever). She told me VERBATIM "Dont worry, we only need this signed to get the car in the shop, we wont charge you the Diag". I dropped the car off in the afternoon of 7 July. They were going to contact the other Meineke to validate the "warranty" (making sure they would get paid) on 15 July. They called on the afternoon of 8 July saying they didnt get to the car yet since it was busy...even though we brought the car in FIRST. Waited until the afternoon of 9 July for them to called stating they would go ahead and repair the car since the other shop agreed to cover it, BUT they had to order the parts. OK. 10 July was Sunday (closed), then they call on 11 July in the afternoon around 530pm to say the car is ready. I told the Mechanic I couldnt get it that afternoon since I was under medication and couldnt drive, neither could my wife, to reach their destination before they close a 6pm. So I told them my wife will get in during the week. My wife was in contact with them on 12 & 13th of July, having no means to pick up the car on her own (I was out of town for work). They wanted to charge us $15 a DAY for storage (pretty much the manager made up some bogus claim that they had the car ready since Saturday. I even had to remind the husband (the mechanic) how HE called me on Monday to say it was ready. The Manager was very rude to my wife as well on the phone. After we demonstrated the evidence right to the mechanic, he realized that they were not in the right (They had NO policy about charging a storage fee for a car when they KNEW my wife was limited in the time she could collect the car. They still charged the DIAG fee even though the MANAGER stated they would NOT charge me. This shows the lack of character and the type of Customer service you will get when dealing with THIS Meineke. She was not only rude to us, but as before, she even asked me "am I rude?" since another customer just told her that earlier..being tactful I didnt mention it at the time I first met her. These are the reasons I place a 1 Star. Money is money, but it shows the type of person you are dealing with, one that cares about its customers, thus they would return, or one that wants to gouge them for whatever pennies they can gather.

PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE, DO NOT bring your vehicle here. I brought my van here for a squeaky belt. The result was catastrophic. They replaced the HARMONIC BALANCER, and WATER PUMP PULLEY. My wife took the van home and after taking it to work the noise was louder, and it was overheating. This is after they refused to honor the 10% VETERANS DISCOUNT. They kept my van outside for two days and didnt honor their warranty. They wanted to replace my water pump for an additional $500.00 after I had already spent $514.00 for the POOR work they did. These people argued with me in front of their customers and yelled at me. My wife brought it to their attention, and they stated that this is the way they conduct business in the middle east where theyre from. However they werent yelling when I first came and they took our money. After that we were nothing to these people. They followed me outside to the van after my wife and I left very distraught over their behavior. AND agreed to work on our van after they had already humiliated us in front of their customers. I was still nice to them and agreed to leave the Van which was now Friday, and stated it would be ready Monday, However my wife said it wasnt a good idea not knowing what they would do to it just to make more money. We picked it up, and decided not to let them do any more work. Thank GOD who intervenes in mysterious ways, because my son who is an aircraft mechanic came to visit that weekend, and my wife told him what had happened. He lifted the van in our garage, and said that they had improperly installed the water pump pulley, and it frayed the sides of the serpentine belt. We bought a new belt, and he reinstalled the pulley correctly, and the belt. Now there is no noise, and it is not overheating. Please reconsider before taking your vehicle here. these people have no honor, and dont care. They didnt honor their warranty, or VETERAN DISCOUNT. ONCE they take your MONEY, youre no one to them. They also failed to replace my oil filter on the oil change.

Dont believe that post about new management. Even if there is a new manager the place still does crappy work. I got a muffler installed by them and I noticed the brace for it was no longer there. It also had a lot of play in it when I was driving the car. you could see it move up and down. Then 10 months later it fell off and almost hit a car that was driving towards me. I took a look at the weld and saw how TERRIBLE IT WAS! I am a novice at welding and I havent touched a MIG welder in 7 years and even I could weld better than that. It looked as if someone was trying to shoot at the weld and kept missing the mark when it SHOULD look like semi-rippled bead. Not to mention there is a gap in the weld AND it was only done HALF WAY! with that said take a look at my profile picture and you will see the weld im talking about and youll see how terrible it is. I then called them and tried to meet with the manager twice already and he just ever so conveniently has things "com up" and i cant meet with him. AND if he isnt there I cant get the warranty verified. not to mention those so-called "secretaries" dont even know how to remember to call and tell me when he is in. So basically Ive had it with them and their crap but Im going to spread this review around everywhere and make a complaint as well. Go somewhere else if you want a good job done on your car. IF you managed to get a decent job done on your car then you are one of the lucky few.
