From the first time we went to look at the house we have run into issues. The house was listed as available but when we went to look at it, the owners were still in the process of moving out in fact, the house wasnt available for another 2 weeks after we went to look at it. There is a huge attention to detail issue. The employees are very rude and will ignore you the moment that you walk into the door. I have had to raise my voice to get their attention to even acknowledge that I am standing right in front of the female that works at the front desk. I guess what ever Facebook has posted on her computer is more important that customers that walk in the door. I was deployed to Afghanistan from 1 Jan 2011 - 13 July 2011. Since I have been home from deployment the home alarm has been activating periodically on a nightly basis; waking my family 3-4 times in a night. I have put in 3 work orders in the last 3 weeks. After the first one was placed, Brian called my husband and left a message. My husband called him back and Brian never called us back. I put in another work order a week later. I got no response. After 24 hours I called and spoke with Brian. He told me that he would call ADT and call me back. He never called back. I waited one week and placed a 3rd work order and again waited 24 hours. I spoke with Brian, again. He said that he never followed thru with calling ADT and he would contact them and call me back. This time he did call me back and said a gentleman named Fred would set up a time to come and disconnect it. Come to find out, that Fred only got the work order that day and walked in and just cut the wires to the security system. The second issue we had was in the middle of September, the AC went out. It took 4 phone calls to have someone come out to fix it. I had to threaten to get a lawyer and move out after just renewing our lease to get it fixed. And the only reason it was renewed was because I just got back from a deployment in the middle of July and the lease was up in August and we didnt have time to find a new home. In the year that we have lived at this house we have been told/fined for problems that the property management team has had with us renting the house. We have paid for "Changing the air filters late". When your the office moved, our rent check went to the old address and we were fined a late fee. I dont mind the late fees. I understand that. If there is something that we are failing to accomplish that we are responsible for as tenants then I would never argue about being fined. However, I do take issue with Liberty Management failing to follow through on their obligations as the property manager. From the time I have returned from my deployment from Afghanistan I have been woken up numerous times every night that I have slept in this house. I have tried 3 times in 3 weeks to get the property manager to get this fixed. I feel that we have been neglected and ignored. This final "violation fee" that we got charge with was for a trampoline that we put up. they come out and inspect our home for safety issues but they are just looking for ways to fine you. Done ever use this company. There is not a home in San Antonio worth this worthless Property Manager.

Be very wary renting from this management company. I moved in to an old home (about 30 years old) with several repairs needed, and I was very careful to send in maintenance requests. At first, repairs were handled in a timely manner, but I lived there 4 years and the last two years things changed. Some issues with the house the company did not address, like a broken fence that I requested repairs to since my dog was escaping. They never fixed it. Also, the bathtub above the kitchen was leaking through the ceiling onto my kitchen counter. It took 3 maintenance requests for it to get fixed properly, and when it was a hole was cut in the kitchen ceiling that stayed open for two months until we moved. Liberty Management never sent another repairman out to fix it. The worst thing was that my family and I spent several long hard days cleaning our house from top to bottom and after we moved out we got a notice (30 days later) that not only had our deposit been used up, we owed an additional $600. There were things we expected to get charged for, since the house was old, but some charges were ridiculous. For instance, they charged us $5.00 to clean a light switch in the garage. $12 for each A/C filter which I had replaced personally myself right before we moved out. If I had known they would take such an approach to assessing our deposit I would have taken pictures and documented our whole move out process so I could have fought back against the bogus charges. But I made the mistake of trusting them. Not only did they figure out a way to use up my complete deposit plus pet deposit, they added other charges to it. By the time we got the invoice we had been moved out a month already. I fully intended to pay the charges, but did not have the money available immediately. Liberty Management sent our account to collections after 30 days with no warning. I have never heard of an account being sent to collections so quickly or without the creditor making an attempt to work with the customer. These people are sharks. Do not be fooled by the lower rent on the homes they manage. They will find a way to get that money in the end. The worst part about the whole thing was I felt I had a good relationship with the management company because I paid my rent on time every month and I was careful to report any maintenance issues. They were always friendly with me....until I turned in my 30 day notice. Then I was treated like scum and in spite of all my efforts to be a responsible renter I was taken advantage of. Find another management company. Save yourself some money and trouble.

We have rented from them for two years. When it came time for us to purchase our first home, Debbie was an amazing realtor! She listened to our needs, looked high and low for the perfect place for us to raise our family, and was easy to get in contact with and communicate with. She made herself available to fit our schedule, and gave her honest opinion as we looked through the homes. She made this process easy and practically stress-free! She worked hard to get us the right property in the right location for the right price! She always had our specific family needs in mind, and fought for us. During the entire process, made sure to explain every question I had thoroughly. She always answered her phone, was always responding to my emails in a timely manner, and never made me feel as though I was bothering her. After we closed on our first home, she went out of her way to meet us to get the key, she had someone to come and rekey our home, and she suggested two top notch contractors to help us update some of the things in the home that we wanted to fix. I joked with her that I was going to forget Angies list, and that she should start "Debbies list" because I know that she would only suggest contractors that she trusted! She always steered us in the right direction, and I trusted her opinions. As first-time home-buyers, everything was new to my husband and I and she was there to help us every step of the way even after we officially closed on the house! We were blessed to have her cross our path, and now she is not just our realtor, but a friend! I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to rent or buy a home! She will give you wonderful service, and get you into the home that you need!
