Overspent on things we didnt need without consent. Was supposed to finish in 3 weeks for $30-$40K tops. They wasted dryfall paint for the ceiling on the walls, put in a 40 gallon water tank for only 2 sinks, didnt finish the floors, walls, ceiling, cabinets, or anything and still want an extra $20K on top of the $42K we paid! Their sub contractors were always complaining about how they never got paid and Resurrection General refuses to show us their proof of payment. Claims to be building a church, told me over the phone "really its all about the money". Trying to put lien against our landlord even though they didnt finish and they refuse to show us how they came up with their numbers for work orders we didnt agree on. We told them early on that if it was going to cost over a certain amount to stop and they never shared the cost of anything with us ahead of time except the cost to put up insulation on the ceiling. They sent number to our bank that didnt match what they sent to us and cost us a $154,000 business loan. The owner drives a fancy BMW and brags about million dollar contracts and cant even get a $30K one right. Simply horrible!

When we first met Arthur, he SEEMED like a very good guy, so we thought. He came highly recommended by a close family member. BUT everything changed once he took our money. on Feb 1st 2014 we gave him $6000.00. He wanted this money for labor and materials. He told us that his contractors will NOT come out to work until they get money. For a project that would ONLY take about 3 full days (Arthur Cockfield told us that) it has taken 3 weeks and counting. Per our contract with him he was to hire his people to do the job. But Arthur ended up doing the work himself. He took Many short cuts and the work he has done is NOTHING like what he promised. On Feb 14th 6:00pm or so he walked off the Job site. We are now Left with trying to finish the repairs ourselves. He also Ordered our Windows but As I found out from the Window company the Visa Card that he paid with was declined 2X. The Electricians and Carpenters are asking us to pay them. The amount of work done so far does not equal to $6000.00 ARTHUR COCKFIELD IS NOT WHO HE SAYS HE IS. HE TOOK $6000.00 AND NEVER FINISHED THE JOB.

Sub-Contractors Not Paid. He took all the money for the job as the general contractor and then demanded more money from the client while none of the subs got anything. Then he tried to blame it on the client, who showed the receipts. Art claims all this money is to build a church, but really its so he can afford his expensive car. Then on top of that, he started hounding the client for money for projects the client didnt sign off on. He hired his construction buddy Tiny to harass the client in to paying for stuff they didnt owe using illegal hacking tools to disguise phone numbers. Truly a scummy contractor.
