want to comment specifically on having a kids birthday party here. We book my 8 year olds birthday party without ever stepping foot in this facility. The communication up to the event was awesome and once we walked in the door we were immediately greeted with open arms. The party room was upstairs and very secluded. It was decorated and already had plates, napkins and other things that they had promised. We ordered 4 pizzas, some appetizers, and salads from the restaurant/café that is in the building and it was AWESOME. The chef down there is great and the food was so much better than we would have expected or imaged. And it was pretty cheap. I spent 65 bucks on food and fed over 20 people. The kids get to climb in their own childrens climbing area which was great. We had children as young as 4 or 5 who climbed without any problems and had a great time. If you know how to climb or want to be adventurous then you are more than welcome to climb the more advanced stuff that is not in the childrens room. We have done parties in a few other places and they all sucked compared to this experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely be going back. It is a really good workout!

Knowledgeable and professional staff, felt extremely comfortable and safe. Great place to eat and buy top notch gear, i see complaints of over crowding but the staff does a great job of controlling it, besides if the place was always empty there would be no revenue and inspire wouldnt have the extra money to change the routes, keep knowledgeable staff, pay the electric bill, taxes, insurance on commercial property etc. Im sure most of the 1 star complaints are due to people not seeing the picture fully, but this isnt a secret crag . Its a business that offers more than consumerism. Before I became a member I tested different facilities, and found inspire to truly be inspiring and caring and to top it off Ive not ran into a single pretentious dbag "pro crag" climber that pretends to be "King of walls" . You can most def recognize the groups that are way experienced and if you ask for beta or any tips whatsoever they are more than helpful in asserting knowledge and tips to prevent injury or to red point a difficult route. This place offers not only great climbing, but a great community.

Good Gym. Try not hiring 14 year old interns that think they own the place. I respect the fact you are helping youth gain independence. This one talks to guests and members like he owns your gym. He is not liable and needs to know he can hurt your business and drive away your customers when he talks to other novice climbers like he is the king of all walls. Stonesmove gym at least has a control of their staff and "future" staff that they pay. I dont need your handouts just fix your younger staff that is not on the payroll. I know I am salty but you need to know who you call "yours", climbers are a community of one. They support one an other. This comes with maturity and is not showed with 14 year old interns. I post this on be half of my spouse. I know I am not on your record. Just check who you call staff and interns. My family will not be back.

I bouldered a bit in Indianapolis and England, so I was excited to learn about this new location when I got back from travels. Well, its small and cramped. They have a double decker that doesnt extend very wide making it all the people just cramped up. Difficulty levels arent properly labeled. In fact sometimes missing. So all that together along with the pricing leaves me feeling overall disappointed. Although I overall disliked it, Id like to say that the staff was helpful, knowledgeable and were great in showing me around. But the crampedness and pricing made the experience not fun. I did not do the rock climbing with the harness. That could be a whole different experience. Do try it out for yourself though. You might love it.

:CAFE ONLY: Okay, the food is amazing, BUT the service was horrible! The guy taking orders didnt know anything about the menu, the food came out in waves about 20 minuets apart, food was left off our order, appatizers came 15 min after we were all done eating (had to remind them I ordered it). The people next to us were sitting at a table before we got there and after we were done a guy comes over to ask if they had even ordered yet. They had, and their order was lost.. The food was great, but Im not going there if I am taking a lunch break... 1 hour is not enough time to eat at this place... I have to end this with how good that food is though, it is amazing food! And the rock wall looks amazing

Weve had a great experience and warm welcome by the inSPIRE folks. We were looking for a great and safe place to work with our young autistic son with psychmotor development, motor planning and confidence. The kids cave was perfect and our son had an outstanding time and progressed quickly. Katie and Miss Becky took the time to answer our questions and Miss Becky was especially positive, patient and motivating. The main gym is also a great place for the adult size kids to climb and have a great time. We will be back. I do suggest you call ahead to make sure the Kids Cave isnt booked for a party as it seems to be pretty popular.

Our kids love this place but front desk workers dont really know what is going on. First time we came they charged us for our 3year old which should have been free, per there website and board in front. Second time, we bought an all day pass and go there about 4pm at 5:30 a worker came by to tell us we has to be out of the kid area (only place my kids are old enough to climb) because a party was at 6pm. So much for an "all day pass" and they could have told us before we paid so we could decided if 2 hours for an all day pass was worth it.

Some caveats: before you go make sure there isnt a scheduled event going on. Weve been burned before by not double checking. Also, this place isnt huge, so it can easily get crowded. With those two caveats in mind, this place is excellent. The staff is super friendly, the gym is bright and clean, the prices are reasonable, there is a little cafe for food, there are a lot of really well set-up and well-rated routes. Even though it is smaller than Texas Rock Gym, I much prefer this gym for the overall experience.

This is hands down the best facility in the Houston area! They have really upped the ante. Everything is top notch, especially the pizza. Yeah I know, you are trying to get a work out in and the smell of pizza comes wafting up, not fair really. It is worth the extra drive for me as this is a superior facility. -Staff are friendly and helpful. -Walls are long. -Bouldering area is large. -Routes are well set. -Facility is clean. -Food is great! -Lots of autobelay stations. -Best selection of gear in Houston.

Inspire Rock is a great place to learn to climb and get exercise in general. It is great for adults and children alike. My 5 yo loves it and in 6 weeks has become quite the climber. In a age where too many complain about children not getting enough exercise, they have not seen these kids. Some can run up the speed wall in less than 10 seconds. Incredible. The comments about the restaurant are not over rated. It is a destination location even for me those who are not climbing.
