STAY AWAY!!! Youve been warned. Had the "gold wash" today (June 6th, 2015) on our 2013 minivan. When I got home, I noticed a 23 inch long (!!!!!) scratch on the passenger side fender. Had it been on the driver side, I would have noticed it at the location before heading home. I went back and spoke to the "manager" named Chad. He came out and inspected the vehicle and then guaranteed me that it wasnt the car wash that did the damage. He then proceeded to take a look the passenger side fender of cars that just came out of the wash to prove that it wasnt the car wash. He then asked me if I would like to get a close-up view of the car wash assembly line to prove his point. I told him that of course he wasnt going to see anymore damage. If there was any debris from the washing cloth, it would have already been dislodged from contact with my car. I argued that the scratch probably happened during the hand-drying process. He then explained that his employees are not allowed to wear rings or watches to prevent scratching cars. I argued that it was probably due to debris in the cloth used. He argued that the machine he uses to wash the cloth eliminates the debris. He basically had an answer for every possible reason regarding how the scratch occurred. I made sure to tell everyone who was waiting for their car about the damage done to mine. Everyone (including Chad) agreed that it was a fresh scratch. You can still see the newly chipped paint sticking up. An old scratch would not have that. Chad said that he would conduct a "thorough investigation", which includes watching the surveillance videos and interviewing all employees who worked on my van. I told him that investigation would not surface anything. My van was parked on the far end of the lot during the detailing process, with the passenger side towards the street. No surveillance footage would catch the scratch. Additionally, no employee would admit to causing the scratch. I asked him to stop with the lip service because there is absolutely no way he would admit to causing the scratch. He stated that he has done these investigations before and have found that his employees/equipment were at fault in some cases. I asked him the details of those cases, and they were all instances where body damage was done (dented door due, broken mirror, etc.). I again told him that while I do not expect him admit to the damage since its clear that in "investigation" would not reveal anything, I asked that he do the right thing since its obvious that the scratch was due to his car wash. Finally, I informed him that I took my van to the car wash yesterday for a state inspection, but the inspector was not available. I considered going next door to Midas to get the inspection instead but couldnt pass up the offer of a free "gold wash" if I came back today. One of the worst decisions I have ever made.

My experience at Lone Star was poor. I have been going to Lone Star for the past few years and I have never had a problem. Last week my husband and I took our vehicles in to get the oil changed and to get them detailed. I can say that after our experience that day we will never be returning back to Lone Star. Items from both of our vehicles went missing. Including out car phone chargers. When I called to speak to a manager the receptionist was rude and refused to let me speak to him. Claiming that the manager was not on the premises. I then demanded to speak to the owner. When I did that a manager suddenly appeared. The manager got on the phone and was also rude and unapologetic. He had a careless attitude and acted as though I was just taking up his time. He said he would look into the stolen items and would call me back. Needless to say the items were never returned or replaced and I never received a phone call back. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone after this experience

I took my Brand New 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer GT to get an oil change. The Mechanic did not fasten the splash guard back in place correctly. While driving down the road the splash guard ripped off my car. I had to turn around and go pick it up off the side of the Highway. I was VERY frustrated at this point. I took my car to the dealership because the part that flew off was ripped off the splashguard that is attached to the bottom of the car. I had to buy the entire splash guard and pay for labor. This cost me $290.21 out of pocket that I did not have to spend! I called back and spoke to two managers. All the have to say is "Let me call my boss, Ill call you back" . They caused this problem and I feel that they should return the money for the damages to my car! The car only has 10,000 miles on it! I will not rest until I am reimbursed!

Ive lost over $1,000 worth of merchandise at this car wash, 4173 Main, Lone Star. A few years ago I lost a piece of jewelry that was in the center console, and today I lost a $300 pair of sunglasses. I am filing a civil action against this company for flagrant and violent neglect of their duty to protect their customers. If youve had a similar loss -- even a SMALL LOSS -- please call the civil court with your complaint. Find a better place to get your car washed. Try anyplace in Frisco or Carrollton. Oh, and please dont start blaming the victim. Yes, you should take things out of your car before having it serviced, but hell, if you want to keep going with that logic, someone could rape your wife, and its her fault for being so dern pretty. Me, I blame the thief.

My car is dirty. It needs a good cleaning, but it also needs an oil change. Where should I go? I know, I can go to LoneStar carwash and oil center in the Colony. With an oil change, I can get my car washed for free. Now, that sounds cool. Im not the only one who discovered this place. Plenty of people come here. What could be better than taking care of two errands all in one place?! A good plus is that if youre just getting the car washed, they have one of those punch cards so that after so many washes you get one free. :) A very, very, big plus, is that they dont take too long. This place has a definite system down and plenty of employees to keep that line moving. So that by the time you leave, only about 30 minutes has passed.
