If I could give this awful automotive shop zero stars I would. We were having some clutch problems on our car, we originally wanted to go to a different shop but because of the reviews on here we decided to give CBA a shot. What a waste of time!! We dropped our car off at 7am to just be INSPECTED (no they were not pulling the transmission out at this point) by noon we still had not recieved any word from them. Come 2pm we called them, yes Ill say it again, we called them and they told us a technician was inspecting at the moment. First bogus lie! 3 more hours pass (remember they were just inspecting it not even working on it) and again we call them. This time they say oh weve been busy hes looking at it right now. Second lie! THE NEXT DAY around 10am we get a phone call saying theyve finally INSPECTED it and quoted us $1300 to fix it when 3 other shops had told us the entire job would only be $800 parts & labor. Yes, THREE other shops. We told them no way were we paying that much and when we came to pick the car up from them 7 HOURS later, our car was still sitting on the racks in their garage. Nothing was taken apart with the car, they just simply kept it up there, no wonder it took them an entire day to inspect it in the first place! What an unproductive company, if they really cared about their customers they would have put our car back in the parking lot after we told them we werent accepting their service. Sure it didnt hurt us any to have it sitting up there but WOW what a waste of all of their sorry customers time. Insanely OVERPRICED, UNPRODUCTIVE, MONEY HUNGRY mechanics. AWFUL shop, do not waste your time.

Well, my car 2003 Toyota avalon got down for some stupid reason on early morning while started going to office. I was pertty new to woodlands and dont know who are the honest repair shop who can do the repair at very less price. I looked up on the internet and found these guys and studied the reviews. I did tow my car to them and they are real quick on their estimate and work. Mr John has called me back in couple of hours exactly as told me before and let me know the problem. Indeed its the scary figure which I dont want to hear. I then thought that these guys are bluffing me about the problem and making money out of me. But they arranged a ride from apartment to their shop as requested today morning and got my keys after I signed on their bill. Mr. Ronnie, who is the person helped me the ride from apartment to car shop. He is really nice and professional. He is really really nice and told me they are real trust worthy. The salesman tryly forgot his name again... he explained me all about the problem one more time and its severity. I then understood that they are really good and honest. They handed over my keys. I then got into the car and started driving. It was really amazing that the car works and runs like a new car. I didnt feel about it before after I got it. I bought this six months before and knocked up 100K miles. But its amazing now. I said so many thanks in my heart for their great job. I would like to refer them as many people as I want. Btw, they also got me little discount though I dont have a coupon too after my execuse. Trust me guys, they are one honest guys in woodlands.

Im tempted to go all the way to Poor-Fair, but they were nice/friendly, so I have to rate the quality as "Good" at best for the following reasons: 1) I was originally quoted $400 to replace my drivers side window motor/regulator. The tech told me it would take about 1-1.5 hours of labor. I went and looked up the part online and it was $60. I called the shop up and explained that I felt $400 was a bit high considering the cost of the part + it being a simple(ish) job. He went into a spiel about the part online being a cheap Chinese knock-off, and that they couldnt warranty it. Thats all fine, but he was wrong because the part online was an AC Delco, the exact part they were quoting me. 2) The shop originally told me that the motor/regulator both "should" be replaced and that it wasnt much of an additional cost; however, after pointing out the price online they were quick to say they could replace just the regulator and knock off $100. I dont know about you, but $100 extra for a non-necessary part isnt my definition of "not much more". 3) They apparently ordered the wrong part, and I was forced to wait ~2 hours longer than I should have. Overall it appears they did good work, and in the end the price was at least reasonable, but I still feel like there was a bit of an attempt to take advantage of an unknowing customer. Im glad I looked up the part online, and recommend anybody else do the same just to make sure youre not getting ripped off.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND EMPLOYEES. I dont know a lot about cars but I am so glad that I have Christian Brothers Automotive to turn to. Every aspect of my visit, from the initial greeting to patiently listing to me as I explaind the problems I was having with my car to the phone call with an itemized estimate for the repair that was needed and the final check out was incredible. Since Im not sure whats needed for my car it was refreshing to find someone that would explain what was needed including any recommended maintenance and services. I need my car to last a long time, I believe Christian Brothers will help me make it last. YOU CAN TRUST THEM, I know thats making a big statement, but thats what I truly believe. It seems hard to find someone who is willing to listen and offer help and advice without any pressure but the employees at Christian Brothers will. There have been times that I asked them to look over my car and let me know whats recommended, they did and then let me make the decision of what I wanted to do and what I wanted to wait and do later, all without any pressure. THEYRE VERY HELPFUL. I wasnt sure whether leaving a review would be helpful or not, expecially in this day and age when competitors of companies seem to be the only ones leaving reviews but hopefully my review will be beneficial to you. One thing Ive learned about Christian Brothers is they will tell you the truth and then let you decide.

My experiences with Christian Brothers have been excellent from start to finish, and even beyond. When you walk through the door, you are greeted in an amiable atmosphere, including a pleasant waiting room. Whether it’s John or Chadwick listening to the description of your vehicle’s symptoms, asking pertinent questions along the way, they take the time to type up detailed notes / descriptions on the repair order. Through these notes and knowledgeable conversation the necessary repairs are carefully and thoroughly explained and other potential near future issues (if any) are pointed out. The 24 months / 24,000 miles guarantee on labor for new parts installed and manufacturer’s warranty on parts provide an additional level of reassurance. While repairs are being made, the ride home via courtesy car is a huge help, enabling me to get there early and get home to do a full day’s work there and not “bother” a friend for a ride. Mr. Ronnie even opens the car door for the ladies. After the service is complete, Christian Brothers has been diligent to stay on top of any lingering symptoms or issues until they are fully resolved. Just today, John took my car out in rush hour traffic to make doubly sure nothing was overlooked. Needless, Christian Brothers is my #1 choice for automotive repairs.
