ok where to begin ill start by saying that im a loyal customer that has spent over a thousand dollars here and have even referred customers that have spent thousands of dollars here I understand that your model is to make money and have people bring there computers in too make money but I called with a simple question that I didnt know the awnser too which would have been an easy awnser for anyone that knows a little about computer hard drives I installed a new hard drive and couldnt get anything to download to it and ended up figuring out later myself through long research that it was a simple as making a folder on the hard drive which would have been easiliy awnsered without me having to bring my computer up there and charged for labor and diagnostic I called wanting to talk to someone with a little computer knowledge and ended up get this rude new girl that works there that wouldnt give me a simple awnser im guessing because she knows nothing about computers or customer service and loyalty like I said I understand that the model is to make money but seeing how I was a loyal customer that spends thousands there that I could have just got a simple quick and easy awnser without having to take my computer up there and charged to just simply create a folder on the hard drive would have been taken care of on the phone without gouging me for money I know any of the old guys that worked there befor that I have delt with would have simply help me out but instead I was told that my only option was to bring my computer there and be charged to find out the problem which there was nothing wrong with the computer then I asked to speak to someone else then she went on to tell me that she is the only one that I can deal with or talk to after all this was just bs anyway just really disappointed in her customer service and the way she handled it just really disappointing to me as a loyal customer I just needed a little nudge in the right direction on such a simple situation and ended up having to deal with her and terrible customer service is just really disheartening for me it makes me not want to continue to be a customer of a place that I really like and enjoy never had so much problems trying to figure out a little information from my computer store that I solely use just beware of this girl her customer service is terrible her knowledge to help a customer was terrible

I concur with the bad reviews. I was advised this company was good with regards to fixing computers. My laptop crashed, so I brought it to them on 9/3/2014. While waiting for service when I brought my computer in, I heard one of their technicians advise a young man that was picking up his computer that had been there for two weeks, they would only charge him for parts. I thought to myself, well this appears to be a fair company. Little did I know, a month and a half later, Im just getting a diagnosis of what the issue is with my computer, and this is only after numerous telephone calls, and leaving innumerable message to return my call regarding status. Finally, they tell me it is the mother board, and the price to purchase it. I found the part for $100 cheaper online. Got the part 2 - 3 days later, and bought it to them and was advised it would be ready the next day. I still gave them ample time and didnt come for 4 days. Called to advise I was coming to pick up my computer, they stated it still isnt finished, and that its doing the same thing, and again the technician that is working on mine isnt in until 2pm. They also stated a lot of time hes called out on other repairs.I left my name and phone number again, and asked that he call me. I still have not heard from them yet - the only time I hear from there is when I call and if they answer the telephone. I will be reporting them to the BBB, Attorney General and any other reviewing/governing authority/entity that can be of assistance, in order for the public to know what horrible service this company offers. Let it be known, I still do not have my computer, and the quality of my work is being affected as a result.

this place is a rip off! I called there this morning and got a price of $29 per memory module for DDR3 1333mhz laptop memory. I asked paton to set 2 out for me and Id be by later today. now I did look online and a set of 2 of these were cheaper (about $49 for 2) but I figure I m supporting local business and it s fast and convenient so what the heck. I drive over there about 1:30 and I m told they are $39 a piece. paton is at lunch and they say he must have looked at an old price list and there was a price increase this week. I don t mind paying a little extra ($10) but I m not going to get ripped off paying double what these are worth. to make matters worse there was NO BRAND NAME at all on the memory. Paton had said they were super talent which is no great brand but what they were actually selling had no name at all! This is not the way to do business and they have lost mine forever. I don t care how inconvenient it may be I will order online and wait.

CPU is made up with three hard working guys. I am about to clear up these HORRIBLE reviews. I am a long time customer with CPU. I purchase computers, get them fixed and buy parts. CPU and one of the only places in Tyler that is reasonable. They are open from 9-7 M-Saturday with only three guys working. And one manager that works open to close. Yes the phone will ring at times excessively. BUT its not because they are ignoring you, I have walked into the store with six customers bringing computers in and purchasing parts etc. This isnt Best Buy with Sales Associates readily available to consult the not so computer savvy. As for the wait on the computers. They let you know how many computers are in line in front of yours before yours will be looked at upon check in. They give you the right price and the right stuff and have you on your way. Dont lets these petty reviews steer you away from the business. Oh and Google spelled their name wrong.

Awful business. They have had my computer for over a week. They have not returned my phone calls and frequently dont even answer their phone. Once, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes without having even spoken to anyone.... I eventually hung up. Today when someone finally went to check on my computer, it turns out they havent actually done anything. Then they tell me they cant find anything wrong with it. So... why wasnt I notified of this finding? Then they tell me they need my password to check further potential issues... so why wasnt I notified? Then they tell me to bring my computer monitor and cables (the ones I offered to leave with the computer when I dropped it off in the first place). Give me a break!!! This place is a joke. Dont trust a business with a misspelling of their name in the title!
