Diagnosis charge $39.00. Repair $99.00. Technician diagnosed problem after spending more than two hours at my home. He explained that faucet base could not be tightened until three missing screws were replaced. He did not have the necessary screws and did not offer to go to hardware store to purchase the necessary screws. Invoice was supposed to be emailed to me showing charge to my credit card. Did not receive email. When I called the company to ask about invoice and complain because the problem was not fixed, I was told that email address was wrong and kept bouncing back. I was also told that I was being charged $99.00 because technician did come to my house and tried to fix the problem. Problem was not fixed. Technician called me and explained that I would need to secure three new screws before clamp could be tightened at base of faucet. Two days have passed and I have yet to receive my invoice although I continue to receive emails from other sources. In my opinion, Harvey West Plumbing needs to improve their communication skills and be willing to discuss a solution regarding charges for repairs not made. Would never use this company in the future. Cannot in good conscience refer anyone else to them.

We picked Harvey West to replace our 2 aging gas water heaters. We had several companies come out to give us quotes and advice, but HW were the most responsive and helpful during the quote process, and had competitive prices. Our overall communications with the technician (Chase) and the management at HW was excellent. They explained everything thoroughly and made it clear what was included and what was not. The installation went very smoothly despite an upstairs location and the technicians were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Overall, I couldnt be happier with the service, and subsequently have had them back out to expand the existing installation with additional hot water re-circulation locations. I would highly recommend the company and its staff if you have any minor or major plumbing needs.

Very disappointing! They had done work for us before and I joined their preferred customer program. Today, I called them out to fix a leaking faucet in my bathtub. They quoted me almost $400! It wouldve been over $400 if I wasnt a preferred customer. I felt that was pricey and so we told them we wanted to get other quotes. I got two other quotes and both of them were $225 or less. I used another company and wound up paying $156--over $200 cheaper for the exact same job! The manager told the serviceman to explain the high cost was for labor. The part was quoted as being $100. I found out later the part really cost less than $50. That means they wanted over $300 for labor, that the company fixed in less than 30 minutes and charged me $156 for parts and labor. Once again, very disappointing!

Very disappointed!! I had them out to fix a leaking faucet in my kitchen. They quoted me almost $400+ to replace the entire faucet. I felt a little surprised since the gentleman didnt even touch any parts just took his flash light and looked around under the sink for a few seconds. Not to mention the very awkward moment the plumber had to call his manager to explain why he was only charging me the service fee. The next day my father-n-law (not a plumber) came to look at the faucet and went to lowes bought a $20 part and no more leak. I hate that I even was charged the service fee of $39 ugh.

I had them a week ago to come unplug my clogged Drain for an hour and the half they kept telling me that they were almost there where the clogged was at two hours later they told me it Would cost me $79.99 for every thirty minutes they were there after they had quoted me $324 i finally asked them to leave after the first $79.99 charge,it seem s like the guy was more interested on sitting on his ass and watching the clock while the other Gentleman with him was working his butt off.They left with $377 at the end without doing a thing i will never use or recommend them to anyone..

I had Harvey West come out to rebuild my toilets, replace the bathroom sink, fix a valve in the shower handle, and replace the kitchen faucet. They came out and gave me a quote. I had used Baker Brothers 6 years ago for a similar project on the shower, and Harvey West was less expensive. I agreed to the quote of around $2200. I did not get a second estimate because I trust Harvey West to fix things right, plus they are a small operation and I like the fact that they treat me like family. They are punctual, clean, friendly, professional and generally great company.

Wow I am a contractor and just called trying to establish a new relationship. I mentioned needing some rough in plumbing work and the service manager rudely just said "Sorry I am not interested". I mentioned this is a residential house, down to the studs and he interrupted me again with "We are not interested in the work", now more than curious I asked can I schedule the job sometime in January, again "Not interested" This really blows my mind... Oh well I guess building business relationships isnt important and maybe they have too much work.

Called in at about 9 am about our toilet not flushing at our office. I was prepared for them to say they couldnt come out until tomorrow. I spoke with John and was pleased with the scheduling and the timeliness of everything. He had Chuck and his helper (cant remember his name for the life of me) come out almost an hour and a half later. They figured out the problem and fixed it within no time. Was very pleased with the friendliness of everyone with the company and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for fixing our toilet! :)

Thieves!!! Charged me over $400 for a $50 Delta Monitor cartridge. And then didnt complete the work. I have to tighten down the faucet handle myself. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In response to my above comment the owner said the faucet was welded and it took two hours to fix. In actuality I stood and watched as he grabbed the shower faucet handle, put his foot against the wall and yanked the handle off. It took 1 minute. Clearly this company not only price gouges but lies about their work.

I have used Harvey West Plumbing quite a few times over the last three years and they have always been very friendly, polite, punctual, on time and a great group to work with! I recently had Leo and Ray from Harvey West come out as I had a water leak in my living room. They checked to see if there was a plumbing leak and told me I dont but they gave me suggestions as to where the water might be coming from. Ive always had a great experience using this company and I highly recommend them!

The technician who came to the house was very friendly and professional. He ran into some unforeseen issues while working and had to call his manager for direction as extra work was needed. His manager approved the work at no cost (which I think in that case was truly the right thing to do), and he finished up on time. Overall, the whole experience was very positive and I can recommend these guys with confidence to anyone in need of a good plumbing company.
