Ref. Home AC Service June 1-5, 2017. In June five years ago (2012) I purchased a new Amana Heating and Air Conditioning System at a cost of well over $10,000.00. At the same time I purchased a membership and enrolled in the Companys Family First program for which I have been paying an additional $14.95 per month. Two weeks ago I experienced a system failure resulting in two service and repair visits. My cost for the repairs [on my 5 year-old system] was $2080.00. One of the repairs that accounted for $165.00 of the total bill was an "LC2A Flush Drain Line Minor" procedure. Unfortunately, the procedure resulted in a "drain clog" at the AC and bathroom drain junction rendering my bathroom sink unusable. Upon detecting the problem I contacted the Company and explained that the repairs had resulted in the plumbing problem that had previously not existed. I was told that the Companys Plumbing Service was available but "I would have to pay the diagnostic and any repair and labor costs". This is truly not consistent with the Companys espoused customer service and guiding business principles. It appears to me that since the plumbing failure was a result of the Companys work I would not and should not be liable for the repairs. After paying over $2000.00 I do not consider it reasonable that I should have to pay for the repair for damage created by the Companys work. In addition I have also used the Company for Annual Furnace and Annual AC Tune ups with significant cash outlays for these service calls. As a dedicated customer, Im not feeling too "warm and fuzzy" at the present time!

So this is a very mixed review due to the fact that several aspects of the OTE service were outstanding but others are unprofessional and deceiving. First the good. Salesman Patrick and the 2 technicians he sent to my house to perform the service were absolutely outstanding. Patrick was able to walk me through a new HVAC system and explain exactly what I was getting for my investment. He was also able to immediately tell what the issue was with the equipment that was installed (manufacturers fault, not OTE) and had it remedied immediately. The technicians were generous and kind even after suffering through working in a hot attic for several hours. Those gentleman deserve recognition because of the outstanding service they provided given the harsh working conditions. Now the bad... After having my system installed I received a competitive quote and decided to submit to OTE for the apples to apples guarantee due to the large price difference. That was 6 weeks ago and I still have not received any type of answer. I have had to chase down the person responsible several times with little to no success. To me it seems like a lack of interest in the customer once they sign the paperwork. Its unfortunate that poor management can leave such a sour taste for a companys services, but most likely I will shop around for my future HVAC needs. Overall, my suggestion when searching for new HVAC/Plumbing needs, shop around and negotiate your final price before accepting service. Do not trust any "apples to apples" guarantee.

Yesterday afternoon I started to realize my house was getting hot, really hot. It was a 91 degree day here in Texas so that was not fun. My husband called On Time Experts after enjoying their advertisements on ESPN. Sergio came in a very timely fashion and assessed our situation quickly. We needed a new capacitor . He was kind, soft spoken, and obviously knew his business. He was great at explaining the issues and our options honestly. We trusted his opinions and asked if he could get someone out to us to give us an estimate on a new a/c unit. It only took a few hours before Olen Jackson came out to see us. Olen is very professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable. He exuded trustworthiness and professionalism, but also had a great sense of humor. He gave us detailed information, answered all of our questions and provided us with what we feel like was really great advice. He also worked hard to get us very good discounts and special pricing. We decided to replace our old and getting older unit with a more reliable unit from them that could be trustworthy and provide us with clean, healthy air as well as a wonderful warranty of 12 years. We were very pleased with the service from both of these gentlemen and would highly recommend them to everyone...what a great company!!! The unit is being installed as we speak (the very next day)!! I will review the install when it is finished. Thank you Randy, Olen, Sergio!

Barry M. was on time and on fleek. He went over all the things he was going to do for my semi-annual service, then did those things like a boss. He made a list of issues he found and even had some short videos showing what he saw. I loved the videos, because I could really understand what he was talking about and I didnt have to brave the 200 degree attic. There was zero pressure to purchase the repairs, though I did choose one that I thought was important to have done. He did the repair in the same appointment. He gave lots of good information and was very friendly and personable. UPDATE: I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 3 because my second encounter with this company was a zero star experience. I told Barry I was preparing to replace the system sometime in the next few years and he arranged for a sales rep from his company to come give me a budgetary price quote. Patrick M. showed up on-time and went over a list of things he would do to prepare my quote and said it would take about 45 minutes. He left after 10 minutes saying he would e-mail the price quote. After a few days I called to get a status on the price quote and the phone rep said she would follow-up with Patrick or have someone else do the quote. Its been 2 weeks now and I havent heard a thing. Im disappointed. I did call Reliant Air Conditioning and they gave me a quote on the spot.

Josh, the service rep, was very professional & knowledgeable. On Time Experts does my yearly maintenance checks for my AC & heaters. This year he found my fairly new heater, that was installed in 2013 by Sherrell AC & Heating, had its suspension cable snapped. The heater was still suspended on one side, but the side with the snapped cable was leaning on the gas fitting which was the only thing holding that side up. Sherrell AC & Heating had used a cheap cable to hang my new heater. Josh recommended to call the company who did the work to see if they would fix it. I called Sherrell & they said there was only a 60 day warranty on work so fixing the cable was not covered. I explained to Josh the situation & Josh explained to me how to hang the heater using 1" wide tin strip metal. It was an easy fix for me to do & I got it done fairly quickly. I appreciate Josh taking the time explaining to me how to hang a heater. It goes to show that On Time Experts is not like other companies just trying to take your money, but actually cares for its customers. Josh is a great guy & he didnt have to tell me how to fix it, but he did. He is representing his company very well & is one of the reasons I continue to keep On Time Experts as my AC/heating company!
