Had a leak in water heater tank in attic and got directed to Dallas Plumbing Masters via American Home Shield. I stopped water inflow to avoid further water damage. One of their guys came over the same day to assess situation. He came out and tried to sell me on additional services, complaining about how busy they were and how it would be very difficult to find the same type of tank. He said he’d be able to take care of it and help me out and left, telling me he would call AHS to hopefully make things happen the day after. 10 minutes after he left, he called me back, trying to sell me on restoration services too if I needed them. I told him that I wanted to fix the existing problem first, then look at restoration if needed. At this point, there really wasn’t that much damage, and no indication was given to me that further damage would occur. Left the property for the night and Dallas Plumbing Masters called back and offered to fix the problem and replace it for $945. I asked if there was anything they could do about the price and a verbal agreement was made to make it $845 total and that they’d arrive between 8-12 the morning after. When I returned to the property the morning after, water was pouring down the wall, including over electronics equipment that I had shown to the representative from Dallas Plumbing Masters. He failed to tell me that the tank was still leaking. I’m still assessing what it will cost me to replace the equipment. When calling them about this, he said he “couldn’t start work” until we agreed on it. To me, it’s common courtesy to inform a customer what is going on and recommend for me to remove items that could be further damaged and also not attempt to sell restoration services when damage is still occurring. The call got pretty heated and they threatened to not have their guys show up to replace the water heater tank until I explained that I had no ill will or anger towards the workers, only towards the guy who failed to inform me of future damage risk and was more concerned about his commission than helping a customer. He informed me that they would indeed come out within 30 minutes. The guys arrived 90 minutes later and did do a stellar job replacing and installing the new water heater tank, and after one day of use, everything seems to be working properly. They did leave trash behind in my front yard. After installation, they asked for payment of $945, not the $845 that was agreed upon, then sent me an invoice for the remainder of the balance. Based on above experience, I would not recommend Dallas Plumbing Masters to anyone.

My home warranty company sent out a plumbing technician because our Tankless hot water heater was not heating the water. Their plumbing technician wrote a report that stated that the cause of the failure was due to lack of maintenance and therefore was not covered by the warranty. I called the home warrant company back: They sent out another company, DPM Plumbing (Richardson Tx.) 2 Technicians came out and did the same 2 tests and determined that the computer board needed to be replaced. They took the computer board out, called the factory technician, reviewed what they did and verified the part numbers needed. - DPM Plumbing called back that day and let me know that the parts had been ordered - 2 days later they called to let us know that the parts had arrived that morning - Came out that same day – Replaced the computer board & computer transformer. We turned on the water and we had hot water. (The flow sensors did not need replaced) I did ask them about calling the factory technician and their comment was: Our owner loves it when we work with the factory technicians. (Smart Owner) The 2 DPM technicians (Keith & Michael) were great: Did everything they said they would. They made me say WOW!

Ahhh...where do I begin with these shyster clowns? They were referred to us by our warranty company. Were a no show initially, but said that they DID come, but no one answered the door. This is in a 1900 sq foot Condo and 4 people were present the entire day. If he had actually showed up, SOMEBODY wouldve heard him. He finally shows up to fix the problem another day (no cold water) and leaves after having caused us ANOTHER problem---he stripped a valve in the wall (Im guessing) and caused a leak. Then denied he caused the leak (funny, there wasnt one EVER until he "finished" the job), then he demanded $250 to fix the leak HE caused. Um, no. Called the warranty company. Let them know about all of this. They discussed. Warranty covers fixing HIS screwup--for free for us. This plumber then calls the warranty company and says that he has completed the job. Im assuming by "complete" he means having "completely" screwed up our shower at this point. Its still leaking from his botched repair. Warranty company intervenes and re-routes us to another plumber. Im hopeful. Kinda cant get worse than this company. You want to use them? Ok, but youve been warned.

I had Clifford and Stephen from DPM plumbing come out to look at my water heater on 04/10/17. They determined that it was unserviceable and needed to be replaced. I was first told that they would not be able to install a new one until 04/13/17 due to their extremely busy schedule, but after explaining to them that I have six children of school age they said they would try their best to return that day after they completed two other jobs they had scheduled. They returned at 4pm, which I know was probably close to the time they would normally get off and they had my new water heater installed and up to code in about an hour. I told both the gentlemen from DPM that I was greatly appreciative of their understanding and kindness, and that I would recommend DPM Plumbing to anyone that asks for a great plumbing company. Thank you again for such great service!!!

It took them 5 days to replace a Rheem water heater that was still under factory warranty. Should be noted too when they finally installed the new water heater the technicians tried to enter my home (Not just the garage) without authorization which would have resulted in the police showing up for triggering the alarm. Also they charged me a premium for the permit as well as a "modification" (new flex) lines. If I am to pay a premium for professional services I expect the job to be completed quickly. My water heater is easily accessed in the garage. Also the paper invoice with a rubber stamp as well as placeholders for thier website sets off a lot of red flags for me as it shows a complete lack of professionism and rather shady. Bottom line: No, I will not be using them again nor would I recommend them.

Sure wish I had known about these lying crooks before they robbed me with their con. Pretty sure the 5 star ratings are from them directly. Nobody I talked to had anything goo to say about them and will never use them again. I cancelled my home shield and will be talking to an attorney. DPM Plumbing is running a scam operation using American Home shield as their way to get into your home and rip you off. They are aggressive, obnoxious and flat out liars. Even when I told them to leave, they tried to charge me for work not done and threatened to put a lien on my home if I didnt pay them. I hope they are reading this. I DARE YOU TO TRY AND PUT A LIEN ON MY HOME YOU PATHETIC CROOKS! I DARE YOU!
