I really only need one word to describe Bryden Academy....family. This week, my family was forced to relocate and place our children in another center. It was one of the hardest decisions Ive ever had to make. My boys (5 and 3) have been attending Bryden since they were both born and their amazing teachers have basically raised them together with us. They truly love our children and have always been there to enrich their lives, play with them, teach them, and if necessary keep them in line - my two boys are a little rambunctious. While both the kids have learned shapes, letters, counting, basic math, and tons of other stuff even before Kindergarten, they received the best education possible, playing. Many centers tout their curriculum as the primary reason to attend. While important to find a school with a great curriculum, Bryden certainly has plenty of educational time, yet will also give them ample opportunities to just be children. The obvious stuff was always there, clean environment, good food (more on that later), education, and supervision. However, Bryden really takes the time to get to know each of their children and truly cares for them. I could never say enough good things about Denise (Director/Owner), Tina (Asst. Dir), or all the amazing teachers - too many to name - that have been a positive influence in my childrens lives. Denise is always trying to improve the center and provide the best program possible. Recently, they decided to remove all processed foods, even though the State allows this. Slowly they introduced fresh food, vegetables, fruit, and meals using whole ingredients. My kids have benefited from this and will eat more "scary" items at home. Depending on your schedule, three square meals plus snacks are provided throughout the day. Its been a lifesaver more than once. Overall, Bryden Academy is an amazing school/daycare in a state that is inundated with competition. It is always best to pick a place that best fits your parenting style. Give Bryden a try and let them be part of your family, you wont regret it.

After a long search for the right daycare to take my son to, a friend recommended Bryden Academy to me. This was back in 2003 and my children have been there ever since! My oldest started when he was just 6 weeks old & still to this day loves going there after school. Both of my children have gone from the infant classroom to now in the school age classroom and have loved each classroom & teacher as they progressed and got older. Byden Academy has such a friendly, sensitive & loving staff! They provide an atmosphere for me & my children that in a way is just like home. It makes my children look forward to coming in & excited to see Miss Denise & thier teacher! It has been nice to know that even when I am not there to care for my children that they are looked out for & treated like family to every one there! My children have learned to share & interact well with other children at a very young age, they picked up on language early also. We believe this is from the positive adult interaction the teacher provide daily. I have been extremely impressed with the number of employees that have been working there over the years & still work their today, they have watched my children grow as have i watched Bryden grow & get better and better each year. It is great that there is such a low staff turn over, it shows the staff truly care for their work as much as they care for the children. My kids have been & are still extremely happy at Bryden! I would HIGHLY recommend Bryden without any hesitation for anyone who is looking for someone to care for thier children & trust that they are in the best hands!! It has been a huge blessing & relief to know my kids are happy and safe when they are at Bryden. Thankyou Bryden Academy, Staff & Miss Denise for loving our children & providing a quality place for them to learn and play!

As a child who went through Bryden Academy for 3-4 years, I know how it is to be trapped at this daycare. When I first came to Bryden when I was 9 years old, I was pretty impressed by the daycare. It turns out that that is just the outside. On my first day to my last day, the teachers didnt care about anything. The teachers pulled kids by their ears and yelled everyday. When we complained, they blamed us for being the culprits. The cleanliness is a totally other issue. Babies are crying, sickness (lice and pinkeye) is flying everywhere. There are some nice teachers though as well. Most teachers though did not care about anything, unless kids were climbing the tree to get away (at least 8 times a day), we could do whatever we wanted. Many of the times they fed us below the state standard posted on the wall. The one thing about this daycare though is that it is flexible. Payments and busing is much more flexible than other daycare. Overall though I absolutely dismayed my time here and would like to warn parents that this daycare is not the place to enroll your student. I also am not sure about the glowing reviews but do know that the director loves to encourage parents to "help" her by providing great reviews for her.

Im not sure where the glowing reviews are coming from. My first impression of Bryden was that its filthy and cluttered. The teacher to student ratio is often in violation of the state mandate when I drop my daughter off in the morning with one teacher watching over as many as ten infants and toddlers. When my wife picks her up in the evening, its not uncommon for her to be crying in the corner, diaper full of poop with the teacher seemingly paying her no attention. They never seem to be able to tell us what kind of day she had or what she did - when we ask were usually told something like "Uh, I dont really know, I wasnt watching her today." The final straw was last week when my wife went to pick her up and no one knew where our daughter was. She had to search the whole place from room to room until she finally founder, crying in a corner with a poopy diaper. Enough is enough, were pulling her out of there immediately. They may be better with older kids but if you have a baby or toddler, look elsewhere for child care

The staff at Bryden academy are super good with the kids. Our daughter is exited to go to go there every day. One of my favorite things is the way you feel walking up to the place. Decorated with old playground toys and equipment that must fill childrens minds with awe and wonder just walking up to the place. The inside of the place is another adventure of awesomeness with fun murals all over. They have a very organized fun schedule for the kids. I always thouralky check out all the options for daycare wherever I live. Bryden is the best Ive ever seen. That means the world to me to have a daycare that leaves me feeling lucky to be able to have my daughter go there. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO STAFF!

My 2 kids attended Bryden Academy for 4 years. We only recently left because we moved and we were sad to go. Bryden has a very warm, homey feel, as opposed to the institutional style of larger day care centers. My children were always greeted by name by all the teachers, even the ones who werent in their class. Not only were they treated like family, they learned a lot. My kids could write their name and most of the alphabet by 4 and a half years old without attending a separate preschool. Bryden is also VERY flexible with schedules. And I loved their monthly date nights on Saturdays! Bryden became our extended family and we miss them dearly.
