We built our custom home 2 years ago and contracted Out of the Woods to build the custom cabinetry for our kitchen, pantry and master bath. Their design and project management was prompt, creative and accommodating. Our kitchen cabinets are white and our bar, pantry and bath are a coffee color. When our cabinets were installed, there were 2 doors in the pantry and 1 door in the bathroom that had holes drilled wrong for the handles and then puddied over. We were told that they wouldnt be replaced, it is visible and not great. Additionally, upon install, the tech did not puddy the nail holes on the trim nails. We asked them to come back and they did to fillbthe holes; however, it still looks unfinished. Beyond these issues, the biggest concern we have is the quality of finish. There are only 3 of us in the home... 2 adults, one older teen. The finish on the coffee stain is so thin the wood is now showing through and the white is chipping and peeling. We have been asking for over 2 years for them to take care of the issue with no response. In July, we asked them to come up and bid on an outdoor kitchen and look at the cabinets at the same time. They were very prompt in bidding and installing the outdoor granite (no caninets done) and even took photos of the cabinet problems and promised a prompt resolution . They were very prompt in billing and getting payment. I have called 3 times since to follow up on the cabinets and the last call I was told "Ya, I did take photos but dont know what I did with them. Someone else will call you." Still nothing. I am sad to have to rate their quality and warranty of product at a 1. The initial design and communication is great, but my last Home Depot cabinets lasted 11 years with no wear issues.

Terrible experience my contractor uses this company for the homes he builds so that is why I went to Out in the Woods. It took 33 calls to the person who was to be my contact every time I got voice mail full. The design phase went ok once we got there then came the install. First of all I spent $5000 on the granite for my counter tops which included a large bar counter AT NO TIME EVER was I told that my solid granite counter top was going to be two piece so I didnt a solid surface counter top at all I got seamed granite I was so unhappy because no one told me my counter was to large to make in one piece NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL EVER, upper cabinets were not hung correctly they were to low, laundry room cabinets were so low I would no have been able to open my top load washer, glass on my china hutch was a total mess so many flaws, draw fronts were not solid they were glued together, woods didnt match, some had round edges some were square. So in a nut shell I spend $20,000 plus on a garbage kitchen built and installed my uncaring, unprofessional individuals ****BUYER BEWARE***

My wife and I were looking to replace all of our counter-tops. A friend recommended, "Out of the Woods". We visited the showroom, the associates were helpful with product info and scheduled an in-home consultation for measuring and a bid. Soon after Shawn Gorder was in our home on time and as scheduled. He was friendly and knowledgeable, gave us an estimate and we scheduled an install date. Shawn followed it through and instillation was on the date agreed (today). An install team, lead by GTO (Antonio) were real craftsman. They did a great job. We had just installed new floor coverings and they were very conscientious about home while lifting hundreds of pounds of quartz. Shawn was on site for the install, and helped us with additional project ideas. We feel we selected the right company, great quartz counter-tops and worked with great people. Shawn called later in the day just to see if we were still happy and double check if we had found any issues that needed to addressed. Home remodeling can be problematic, this was a positive experience all the way around.

My wife and I dropped in unannounced, because yes we would ideally favor a locally owned business over a chain store. However, we looked around their showroom for 15 minutes before leaving and not wanting to return. Neither of the two employees there even acknowledged us. Yes, they were with other customers at the time, but a quick hello or please make an appointment dialogue was the right thing for them to have done. Obviously this is a place that doesnt need your business at certain times of the year. They should post some kind of note on both their front door and their Website stressing they prefer advance appointments only. They may do great work, but myself and many others who drop by at random will never know for certain.... We took our thousands of dollars in home remodeling elsewhere.

Went to the store to get a quote. Was told they would call to set up an appointment. Never called. We called them after a week. Got a appointment 3 days later. Was told I would have the quote in a few days. Two weeks go by so we called again. Told us the quote would be emailed the next day. Two days later walked into the store and asked about the quote. Jason was in the back trying to put some crap quote together at the last second. Missed even the whole second kitchen we wanted counters for. Was lied to my face about how the email address was written down wrong by guy that came to get the measurements. I know the email address was correct because I wrote down the email address myself. Customer support was horrid. DONT buy anything from this place

Sales and design was great. When we went to get info on our bid we did have to wait a while and after installation we did have a few problems. First our granite was cracked, Out of the Woods did come out and say we have a lifetime replacement so we felt better about that. We would have preferred they replace it in the first place. Also I have a cabinet in my half bath that is not centered of coarse you notice these things after your walk through. They did a beautiful job on my other cabinets and we feel the quality is good. Just disappointed because we expected our custom cabinets to be installed with a little more skill.

The sign outside says “come in and design your new kitchen” or “come in and see our new showroom.” My husband and I decided to stop in because we are searching for someone to remodel our bathroom and create custom cabinets for our laundry room. We walked in and didn’t even get the chance to look around before one of the store associates came up to us. She informed us that they are not taking on new clients and they will not take on clients until spring time. She was not very friendly about it either. Maybe you should change your sign so people don’t waste their time coming into your showroom.

These guys were amazing! We were building our house and I wanted to customize every drawer and cabinet, they were so willing to adjust plans and make it just like I asked. My cabinets have been in for almost 4 years now and I still love them! I am amazed at the quality and how sturdy they are, and still are (I have little kids that abuse them). Thank you Out of the Woods for making my kitchen so functional AND beautiful.
